What exactly do the police explorers do? - Развлечения
I didn't complain because the officer kissed his wife.
I complained 'cause he had a wife!
He should be married to *_THE LAW!_*
Lol
Stoooooopppp lmao
I thought the guy gave a complaint because the officer kissed _the other guy's_ wife. Like whoah! But I mean I'm being honest, I'm pretty harsh against our current law enforcement system. I think it's pretty crap. But it's pretty laughable someone would complain because a man kissed his own wife. Like _what_ ?
Inspector SLEDGE HAMMER!
I have never known what it felt like to have a drink go through my nose from laughter, so that was horrible, but thank you it was worth it. 😂😂
Officer401 can you do a video on swatting/prank calls including any previous experiences ?
Wavey alex he has
yellowdoesgaming he hasn't as far as I know
yellowdoesgaming he talks about the swat but not swatting
Wavey alex Swatting is pretty dumb. That's how you get your ass in jail.
I think Swatting is like calling 911 to order a pizza, big waist of time and resources and tax dollars and should carry a severe sentence. sure it's funny but so is watching somebody fall , that is until they get seriously injured or worse.
I saw a cop driving erratically once and called 911. At the time, the idea that he might have been drunk didn't enter mu mind. I was worried he had some kind of medical issue and needed help, and I said as much to the dispatcher.
It turned out he WAS drunk, quite drunk in fact I think he blew a .20 or something, which at the time was double the limit. I felt kind of bad about losing the guy's job for him, but then he was out there drinking and driving.
Eric Taylor you did the right thing guy could have killed someone or himself
You didn’t lose the guys job for him. He did that by drinking and driving
You were probably their wakeup call
speaking of sexual misconduct, an officer from my hometown is waiting trial for sexual misconduct with a minor, really sucks, law enforcement community publicly disowned him as such
What do most cops think about Internal Affairs? Is it as hateful of a view as police shows portray?
good question
In my opinion, not at all. I am close with the Internal Affairs. If you're a bad apple then they would probably be seen as something negative but if your doing your job correctly then you have nothing to worry about.
idk about hateful. But to put it in perspective, on /r/ProtectAndServe any "Do police officers do X?" question is automatically assumed to be an IA puppet account. Im sure some of it is tongue in cheek though.
It's a love hate relationship. Usually IA officers are former patrol sergeants or even more commonly, Criminal Investigation sergeants. They're usually volun-told to do IA, not by choice. So, most officers like them as a person, but don't want to be in their office if they don't need to be.
officer401 More of a hate relationship in my experience. IA is usually too nosy about stuff. It seems they try too look for reasons too get people into trouble
Could you do a video of your top 5 funniest traffic stops? Thanks man. Love the videos
Justin Vincent agreed
I've gotten so many speeding complaints 😑 I have a lead foot
Thin Blue Line I've gotten so many speeding tickets.. because I'm not a cop😂
Drew McCarthy Lol... I was thinking the same thing.
I get speeding and all, but isn't it kind of hard to be handing out tickets to civilians when you're doing the same thing
Jack, Police are civilians as well. Unless their rulebook is the UCMJ then they are civilians.
Jack Mraz cops where I live go 15 over in general on some roads.. however I pass them running radar going 15 over and they don’t pull you over. It’s a 35 zone, but they usually only pull people over going 25+ over.. so speeding isn’t exactly hypocritical
Can police take a persons vehicle if there's is disabled from a chase or something?
Old Gamer good question
Old Gamer No they can't. It has happened where people have volunteered to give their vehicle
Old Gamer in the movies only lol
You CAN give up your vehicle in an emergency (not sure if you get to stick around for the chase), but you might even get a citizens award. people have gotten rewarded for doing so.
theirs
Why do police depts stick to the same 5 cars (charger, tahoe, explorer, crown vic, taurus)
Cam Bam govt bids and universal compatibility
Cam Bam they're made bye American makers, very compatible with upgrades, officers LOVE them, very affordable, pursuit rated and proven, and all in all great vehicles.
Because those vehicles specifically have police models.
Cam Bam its the best cars
Cam Bam not Taurus... it's an "interceptor" 😂😂
In kansas... It's illegal to text & drive however you can legally drive and be on the maps, facebook, etc as long as it's not texting so practically there's no tickets to give for texting and driving cause it'll be thrown out 9/10 times
FutureKC LEO I live in Kansas and I didn’t know that but that’s funny you can be like but I was on twitter ticket thrown out
I died at that intro man
Hello, Lieutenant? I'd like to file a complaint. Officer401 used the word "heckler" when he meant "stickler." Please fire him. Thank you.
And the he said "on the same hand." Thanks.
"He's probably talking to your mom" 💀😂
What if a male officer is peeing off a bridge on to cars passing under... and he is a K9. :)
Car lives matter
See no evil speak no evil
"Bumpin' uglies."
I love that phrase and I don't know why.
I'm a truck driver with a wife and 3 kids. I'm wanting to become a cop but I'm a little nervous about being away from my family for the whole time of training especially since my wife is also in med school. I live in Ohio and just wandering what's the best way to plan and navigate this career change?
If you are a truck driver, you should be used to being away from family I would think. Some academies, at least the ones around where I live, first 12 days you are stuck on army base (thats where our academy is) then after that, you can go home friday-sunday.
ORGxOVERLORD I use to drive over the road for weeks at a time then got a local job where I'm home everyday. It's crazy at home with working LONG days and then coming home to work and care for the bc the wife is in class or studying. Will definitely check out the video! Thanks!
Xxx88Xxx thx!
Tim Duncan how old are u? Do u have a record? What kinda shape are u in?
Tim Duncan if you honk twice then they will hire you.
Thank you Officer 401. You have inspired me to start a school police vlog. Not as technical just straight dash cam talk.
I've seen a lot of videos but I love the way you talk about things and the way that you usually keep it clean thank you for that and God bless
When on patrol, is it okay to listen to the am/fm* radio or is it 8 hours of chitchat? 😂
i think the music being on is a good thing. it keeps them alert and aware instead of zombies thats been sitting in a car for 3 hours
Michael Sullivan b Haha yup same here
Gabe Rys i listen to the radio all the time on patrol . Its there for a reason.
You mean AM/FM? Lol. Depends on the department. My 2015 Police Interceptor had a CD player, so I'd crank my bass all the way up and blast music like my intro and hunt DUIs. Obviously not going to blast it in the neighborhoods while patrolling though.
Gabe Rys lol my cop freind one of them would listen to it OFF DUTY...& im like dude we gonna drink or what?that noise annoys me& i didnt stay with him too long cuz of that. Also he stayed 24/7 in cop mode.on the flipside ive been best freinds w a County Sherriff&20 years later he i liked right away bc hes upbeat, funny& not in cop mode when hes with me😆
Hey Officer101!
I am just reposting this question here... Not sure if you seen it.
Hey Officer401, I just have couple of questions that I wanted to ask a cop but just didn't get a chance too:(edit: good thing I still didn't encounter a cop after such long time xP)
1.What happens if you see a person driving Tesla and reading a book. You pull him over and give a ticket?
2. What happens if a person is driving Tesla but his hands are off the wheel, but they are just beneath it. You pull him over?
3. Do you have any briefings regarding new technology like that? We all know we can't escape it and I just wanted to know what cops think and required to do in these situations. With the model 3 widely spreading I am sure we will have lots of Tesla+Cops RUclips videos and probably even new laws put in place/changed to increase safety.
Michael Sullivan Sure... We can add that to the list...
It depends on a few factors. If you can prove that their intent was to drive the vehicle once finished then that could be considered DUI. If the vehicle is off and you can not prove intent then it would just be possession of an open container while in a vehicle, which is not an arrestable offence in the state of Florida, just a citation and no it is not probable cause to search a vehicle.
Idk If you know, ITS SELF DRIVING.
Ask away!

I'd recommend defcon talks involving forensics and anti-forensics and anti-anti-forensics.
I love how theres anti-AnTi-Forensics.__.
Forensics-ception
Video on how undercover actually works (not like how it's seen on tv) and how to eventually work toward that type of unit?
Thanks for the video 401, always enjoy em.
Good video man. One of my favorite things is story time you have a great way to tell a story in detail like we're actually there. I could go for another story time video.
Does any one call department and complain if your video is late???
Can you show us how you eat a turkey leg like a caveman like you said you would in your 'Most Common Questions Answered' video.
Just to add, there is a difference to being written up for a departmental policy, and something a judge would take exception too. Police versus citizen misconduct is always a matter of public interest as far as I'm concerned.
good luck on the class man and thanks for the video !
Plz still do the car videos caz I'm starting to miss them
I like the setup
jessie lucero Your setup was great untill the "lap mike" died and then then it sounds like a bad rant . Totally not up to your usual great work.
Awesome setup officer 401 !!!
Everything on the video looks great! More information to educate us! I love watching your videos because they are educational and I feel we're never too old to learn. Thanks!!
What is swatting ? How do you feel about it ? What is the penalty for it? And how do you prevent it from happening or catch the people? Can you make a video on that ?
Is it just me
or did 401 look "very tired" ?
jimP71 its called having a job and bills .lol
Bro, you have no idea. It's been a hell of a week. Lol.
He's still sexy
Jules P indeed he is
Nah he's just drunk
Thanks for the awesome video!
I hope you have a blast in your class!
Great content man!! I'm glad to hear you're excited for your computer course, I wish you all the best in it! And hey for some new future content, you should make a video talking about your experience with corruption among police officers. And perhaps just any corruption in the departments you've worked for. Not like the stuff Hollywood makes in movies about corrupt officers, and maybe any experience you've had with the internal affairs division.
Please do a video about how citizen arrests work.
Apparently Joe Smo only got beat 3 times this week :)
Thank You Officer 401 for sharing this Video Content and the Police Officers i've ran into have been very polite
Happy to hear your class is going well! Keep up the great work buddy!
how can cops come to terms with seeing violent deaths? Im a firefighter in the police academy but keep getting told again and again itll be different as a COP
Erin Bor we each develop our own way to cope
Erin Bor I am a former medic and I do not think, whether it be as a medic, fire fighter or cop that it ever gets easier.
"Probably talking to your mom"
I do like the setup! Love the video as always!
Good set-up. Thanks and be safe out there.Adam
Can a member of the police issue a complaint against another member of the police?
Megan Crum of course but it will not always be an actual written complaint like a citizens complaint
they could, they just dont. that's what the blue line means, it means cops dont turn on their accomplices
You should move the camera a little lower so we can see a little more of your torso. Just a suggestion.
DestrxyedLove
Yeah, it's weird that his chin gets cut off every once in a while.

Thanks for posting this! Very helpful, I called about an officer going 75 in a 45 with no light. His supervisor called me and said thank you for the tip and asked me to wait in the area for another officer to come so I could write it down. The other officer and the initial officer who I called on showed up and yelled at me for 20 minutes, asking for my license and insurance like I was getting a ticket. They proceeded to curse and call me all sorts of names while I was trying to write my statement. Finally I just got so irritated I left without finishing the statement. Good to know there are still people who appreciate accountability. Thank you.
new setup is good thank you for your hard work
I like the car vlogs better, anybody else?
RSiiks Videos Definitely prefer car vlogs
Just close your eyes and imagine a hand waving back and forth
Do a video on game wardens please
Good photo setup and lighting. Congrats!
Good to hear from you officer 401, be safe man and thank you for these informative videos. 😎
whats the name of the new intro song? cant find it, and its too short to shazam
FOUND IT!!!! It's "Lost" Dion TImmer
It is dion timmer lost his intro
Thinblue Line oh yeah
Thinblue Line you cant use shazam and youtube at the same time.....
If one of my "write ups" includes a payment required with it then a cops should to.
Great setup!
Cops need to use their phone because they have to contact dispatch.
Deputy Midnight Yall can call there is no excuse for texting and driving its a cell phone
Deputy Midnight true and I too am exempt from the law. But texting is just dangerous and there's no excuse when we've got voice to text now.
One last point is a on duty officer recently plowed into a school bus stop hitting 3 kids while trapping one underneath his car. Luckily I was going to another call at the time. Because I was called to assist with my wrecker to hoist the car off of the 11 year old boy. I don't know how he survived because his leg and foot were completely wrapped around the drive shaft and I had to lift the car while ems and fire cut the driveshaft to get him free. By some miracle Cooper's trauma unit was able to put his leg back together. But we thought for sure his leg was gone because of how tight and long the tourniquet was on him. Needless to say the life flight saved his life. But it could've easily been prevented altogether.
so handsome
Congrats on the forensics class. As a former CCE, I understand how cool it is and it sounds like you're excited. Good job!
Great topic, great video (as always), and great lighting/white balance. I'm a big fan of the dramatic look of this one.
face reveal, now we gotta keep looking at ur mug.. jeeze.
And I called on an officer for turning on his lights and sirens to get through the intersection and I know you can’t do that here because my dad was an emt and he couldn’t. I got a personal call from the officer who then apologized to me. That was pretty cool.
NightmareDeathDealer I may not have read your text right, but when I was a medic, you responded to a call code 3 (lights and siren) and transported to ER code 3. If it was code 1, no lights or siren, it meant the person was DOA (dead on arrival).
NightmareDeathDealer in Georgia its called code 2
. You do it to get thru an intersection quickly, using due regard for the traffic and public.
You turn on lights and sirens to get thru then turn em off. Going to an emergency , not life threatening, but you need to get some units for a big argument turning into fight type thing.
So lets not waste folks time on officers doing their job running call to call . Now if an officer is driving reckless without lights and sirens, then call
It was the fact that no emergency was going on. I was saying that it is illeagal to turn on lights and sirens JUST to get through an intersection. For a call or an emergency I completly understand.
NightmareDeathDealer oh ok
NightmareDeathDealer you don't know if there wasn't an emergency.
Thanks for the quick video mm 🤗 hope u don't stress out in class
I like the new setup! Obviously better with the mic, but you'll get that handled, I'm sure. Great video as usual!!!!!!
I wouldn't complain about an officer texting and driving. They might be talking to someone who is thinking about suicide. and they were on route to that person. judging the situation correctly is better than whether or not I think they are doing their job right or wrong.
jen Barrett well that could happen but would dispatch did that for him
jen Barrett regardless that is unsafe to drive and text, if it's an emergency stop at the side of the road and/or speed over to the individuals house with the sirens on.
jen Barrett that is possible. In the state of Florida, there is a course officers can take which can certify you in critical incidence. If you are certified then you will be sent to calls with people in distress or suicidal. I have witnessed an officer get patched through to their work cell phone from the dispatch so the officer could be placed on the line with the subject. During this time, the officer was enroute to their location.
jen Barrett nah man, that's what we do as dispatchers, cops don't talk or text 911 callers unless they're trying to find them, and even then they usually ask dispatch to do that too.
This is just a simple scenario that I came up with on the fly. I do appreciate everyone's comments. I am a firm believer that unless you have done a particular job its hard to know how to think and react to the day to day grind. And I will be the first to say I don't know what it is like to be a police officer. I don't know any personally. But I do know that if I call 911 they will be there and help. Hope everyone stays safe.
Snitches get stitches
Really enjoy the setup!!!
Lighting setup is noticeably improved! Looks good Brother.
first comment Love your vids officer401

Sarn't Wilsy Semper Fi
Officer 401 always keeps it 💯!
Digging the setup! Happy the way it is :)
I went to school for digital forensics, It's a pretty interesting field.
I actually have NO idea how I got here, but I'm glad I did. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Here lately I've been playing with the idea about becoming a cop, but I feel like I'm too timid for it. I have an older sister who is an ATF agent/spokeswoman, an older brother who works for National Security, and a younger brother who just got out of the Army. I feel like my life is going no where.
I like the set up. Can you do a video on your favorite/least favourite police cars of the ones you've had? Advantages/disadvantages etc. And stuff you wish the patrol cars had or didn't have?
Hey man. I spent the last few weeks watching your videos. I hope it makes your day that your videos have reached UK man. Great job keep the videos coming :)
great video Officer 401 i like this set up
Love the video man! Keep it up!
You're making me feel much better about my expired registration/inspection infractions.
I loved playing around with FTK. I took a semester long class when I was getting my AAS in IT. We even had lawyers, FBI, and State police come in and talk with us about it.
Great video!! Can you consider doing a video on any close calls you've had during you're career? Thanks!
Good job on the set up man!! Too bad mic stopped working on you.
Thanks for serving!!🙂
I do enjoy that set up. Stay Safe and Thank You
Ooooo. I'm jealous with the IT classes!!!! Learn a lot Detective401!!!
Immediate WATCH!❤️ you're a great inspiration brother, be safe out there.
There was a cop taking a shit in the stall next to me. He did NOT give me a courtesy flush!
I called the dept to complain about that and for him actually taking a shit while in uniform!
I haven't heard anything back from them about my complaint. I want to make sure something is done. I understand they won't always do anything like if it's a stupid complaint like them kissing their wife, but I hope they take actions on legitimate complaints.
I don't want him to be fired or anything (unless his boss thinks he should) but he should know there are consequences for his actions, even when he's a cop.
You really have a great radio voice dude....need your own Sirius Radio channel!!
Yeah in Buffalo New York the Buffalo PD does a lot of that stuff and it seems that it never gets reported.
yeah, the way you have it set up in this video is great
I love your videos man!
Good god, 401. That thumbnail is right out of an abysmal minecraft let's play video.
Like the setup.
Good set up man when the microphone was working
Great set up
Great video! Lighting looks good too, I would suggest a back light to give you that extra glow on your hair
Set up looks great
i love you bro, we've had good times up here but not maintaining your vehicle, when driving is part of your job definitely deserves a write-up(s)
Should get a couple soft boxes set up behind camera to disperse the light better. Either way, love the videos and keep up the good work.
Lighting looks good to me except the mic problem other than that excellent video as always!
Love the vids keep em comin 👍🏻👍🏻
