People often underestimate the power of silence and the lack of music. Those moments of nothingness serve to make the moments of triumph and excitement truly remarkable. This game released almost 20 years ago, now. Man, I'm getting old.
almost 22 years from now.... shit man... we all getting old.... i was 7 years old when i played this, one of my absolute first shooters and man does this hit home.....
Back when I was a kid, I used to go over to my best friend's house and we'd spend hours playing this game. The Co-op was so much fun and the crazy multiplayer game modes and customization led to all sorts of insane situations (Here have a deathmatch where the only weapons that spawn are mines/rocket launchers/bricks/scifi handguns, or one where all the AI players are robots, or monkeys, or snowmen!) We drifted apart as we got older, and I haven't seen or heard from him in over a decade, but this time I spent with him playing TS2 will always be there. Incredibly fun game with wild variations between difficulties. Probably the most thrilling multiplayer FPS I've ever touched. The Co-op quality is truly golden and feels like it's the way the game is meant to be played. An absolute joy to play with friends.
It was 6 January 2003. I played a demo of Timesplitters 2 on my Sony PlayStation 2 that day. I will never forget that time. I have played the demo over a couple of times. The music of Graeme Norgate is fantastic! Cool video game by the way. Almost twenty years ago that I played the Timesplitters 2 demo and it's still fascinating me. The windy and cold sounds fits with the ambiance of Siberia and this song. Admiration for Graeme Norgate! Good English composer!
i remember doing this level on hard espically how annoying the special forces were when they were deployed to stop anything including you and dont even mention the gunship boss at the end
