There was this strange and serene piano piece that once started when I first found the Followers' Safehouse at night, and I haven't been able to find it since lol I really wish I had recirded it to more easily find it.
Inon Zur doesn't get enough credit for this soundtrack, or any of the fallout soundtracks for that matter. His understanding of the themes and settings of the game and how he puts that into his music is genius.
There is a mistake in the name, the ambient location of the Strip actually plays outside of it. And the ambient location of New Vegas, just the same, plays exactly on the Strip. After all, the Strip is specifically that part of Vegas that has survived from nuclear warheads.
This has really got me excited for my replay after 10 years since I last did, even just the environments and mood are like night and day better than 4.
Need to mod this game again. I think I will actually sit down and try to mod it and get it to a workable state, nothing too fancy, and then play it for a completionist run
if you haven’t done this yet, definitely look into the Viva New Vegas guide. imo it’s the absolute best way to start playing with mods that totally fix the game up
