BMW IX1 2023 Fully Electric Fan Car Genting Hill Climb / YS Khong Driving

Here you go guys and girls, another Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) taken up our favorite mountain.
Many thanks to Mr MK Wong who contacted me to check out his 3-week old BMW IX1.
We have taken up quite a few electric cars, and as usual, they have instant torque - have to get used to the silence, though.

Compare with the XC40 Recharge, is the iX1 drive better?
I test drive both and seems iX1 has stiffer suspension. Therefore curvy roads performance is better on iX1. However, for daily use, XC40 seems like a good choice too.

I think they are very close, but as always, the BMWs drive a little better. It's not about stiffness, but about design objectives and set up. The IX1 is also very comfortable.

That is probably because I am driving beyond your limits. Now you can see the gap, and perhaps enrol in some advanced driving classes so you can be safer due to netter ability to control your car.😄
