- A lovely lady owner of a Mazda CX5 got in touch with us and offered her car for a Genting drive, so this is history in the making - our first lady fan car Genting Hill Climb.
Besides, we have never ever driven the 2.5L Mazda CX 5 FWD, (for as long as I remember) so it was an opportune moment for us.
As usual the Mazda CX5 performed faultlessly despite the fact that there were three of us. Yes, the owner, Cheryl brought her handsome companion along, but I guess he enjoyed the drive too.

Well maintained, low mileage, driven with care no sudden acceleration and brake. Town drive only, like new, all working good. Just buy and drive

If anyone here trusted ladies really know how to take care of their cars, that person will be the most dumb person in the market…
I would recommend the following
1. ECU reflash with Sifu Chai (AE tuned)- Rm500
2. Upgrade to lightweight silver coloured ORI Advanti DST Flow Formed 18" rims with corresponding Michelin SUV+/Primacy 4 tyres whilst maintaining similar diameter. RM3.3k for rims.
3. Drop in filter-Rm100 chap ayam.
Everything else remain stock. No need touch exhaust.
This will improve performance by 25% to 30% while car handling/NVH still stock. Total Budget rm4k excluding tyres. 18" tires would be cheaper too, save Rm500++. Total RM3.5k.

Mazda Cx5 is a wolf in sheep skin. The car has superb handling esp Genting 🎉 Great job YS ❤
I saw the dashboard that YS was engaging Sport Mode plus Manual Mode throughout the journey. How it feels about engaging both modes. Although it is not a turbo car yet it feels powerful enough to ride up hill by YS.👍🏻

we had the same colour too, deep crystal blue but ours are the 2.5t AWD variant… handling is superb! Quality built are top notch and it has a very premium touch for its price tag… only draw back was the interior space is abit small compare to rivals… no regrets…

I would love to go for a genting drive, usually what time and day is suitable and which BHP station is this. Great content uncle, and the CX-5 has always been my favorite SUV from Mazda

Uncle, power wise, cx-30 2.0 vs cx-5 2.5NA..which one is superior..?? We put aside handling / practicality / body type / etc.. just power to weight.. are they more or less the same, or the cx5 feels more powerful..??
The 2.5 is more powerful of course; but car designers can play with gear ratios and final drives to make power.
Nearly as fast as the coach drivers up the old road to Genting 30 years ago 👍

We only have 2.5L here in indonesia. No turbo.
What it lack is power at higher RPM. And braking power is not that good.
I thought there was enough power for most people, and the brakes wer very good.
@@YSKhongDrivingCX5 brake felt spongy, i tend to keep my distance from car in front of me. If compared to honda CRV 1.5L Turbo, the CX5 felt it lack braking power in the high speed. For city use i guess just enough and comfortable compared to CRV 1.5L turbo that goes bite the moment i put a toe 😂
Uncle, you drove that cx5 hard enough ,does the brake fade after you’ve driven that hard? Just curious because i have 0 experience in driving the cx5 that hard.
ah the lovely cx5 (fun fact my dad still considers choosing this cx5 facelift or the all-new crv but for now it's still not yet considered)

we upgraded our CX-5 2.5t AWD with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV and the handling are even better to drive…

It's scary to see you drive that aggressively on a public road with other cars. I don't think you I ever saw you check your mirrors when cutting across lanes or overtaking other cars/bikes
He has very good spatial awareness , only when u slow down alot and want to cut out or when there are power cars on the road do u need to constantly check. I.e when he was behind the bus and when the amgs turn up.
I honestly think this channel is not for you. If you watch the video and other videos you might just realize what goes into each of our drives.
