    Well....wow! Thanks a million and a half for posting this! Again! I don't know how I missed this. It's always great to have insight as to how an artist develops and works on a project. To be able to watch Squeeze whilst they work is remarkable for me.
    For my ears the tonal quality of the records they made with Pete Smith is ridiculously wonderful

    Ridiculously underrated album. Coincidentally, this week I uploaded a video that uses snippets from this documentary, the bit of Glenn trying to work out the arrangement for "This Summer".

    Seeing some of the producers viewpoint,...I find it a no-go...I've recorded hundreds of songs and have played on quite a few releases and not once have I ever had to take any instruction from a producer or engineer. I have never had a prominent studio figure either...I hope to one day but those days are fleeting.
