Nathan is somehow a perfect combination of everyone else's energies. Julia's "I did an insanely detailed background before covering half of it up" energy, Jacob's "Zelda but if Beedle was the main character" energy, and just All of Karina's energy

I know I'm a bit late, but my headcanon is that Lon and Sai have basically no interactions for the entire show until it's revealed that they're roommates and their friends forcibly merge their friend groups so they're made to hang out.

Jacob redesigned Lesser Dog, someone named Nathan made some excellent video game concept art, Karina did Karina things, and Julia accidentally started a new ship by pairing her himbo OC with her husband's himbo OC. Excellent episode.
I like the new ship, but I don't think either one knows how to date. They'd just hang out, hit the gym, get food, then find some guys to fight.

Many thoughts stirred in his mind as he stood there, gazing upon the castle, tracing the ramparts, the massive gate and even the worn, rusty chains of the drawbridge. Every piece, every inch, a precious jewel in his eyes.
He thought of his family, probably sick with worry after nary a word from him in all these many long years. He was but a squire when he left, disillusioned with knighthood. His old master was probably sitting smugly as he always did, or maybe he had passed on. Bitter old fool that he was.
And what of his peers? How he missed them all. Sir Jasper, the youngest of them all and dubbed the "goodest boy" of the group, Lady Anise the oldest and wisest, Sir Kallim the lazy, Samos the court jester. Would they remember him?
With the faintest hint of a smile, Sir Wilford steeled himself for the last leg of his journey, with both apprehension and renewed vigor.

Nathan reminds me of Karina, both in the way he talks and also the fact that he is very powerful and uses that power to draw fan art and OCs and then talks about those ocs very lovingly.
Julia drawing the most exquisitely sublime facial expressions and deciding she hates it is classic Julia.
I love that Jacob made a cartoon dog knight into an Elden Ring NPC who asks you for like, a random bone you'd found several hours earlier...and then several hours later you find him bleeding to death because of his hubris.
I enjoy that Julia managed to ignore the prompt by including York fanart

Rah'oxa is Julia's character in Drawga and York is Jacob's character in Drawtectives, sooooo... it's sort of actually them, by proxy :P
My personal headcanon for Lon and Sai is that Lon just really wants to be Sai's friend and keeps tagging along in things despite Sai clearly being annoyed with him. And then Lon just kinda grows on Sai, so Sai's annoyedness starts diminishing and becomes closer to friendly banter. Basically just Lon being this golden retriever of a man and Sai is just so tired of him but also this is one of the few people who he can actually stand, so he reluctantly deals with it
I like the idea that Sai and Lon go to school together but Sai isn't actually a student, he's using it as cover to fight some other beings or something, and Everytime he's trying to spy or do some scouting undercover work Lon just shows up and tags along. Lon has no idea what's going on but punches people for Sai anyways. Lon gets in too deep with Sai and his "work" that Sai has to keep him around at first but later prefers his presence

Sometimes I feel like the vibes of collabs don't match the affectionate chaos that I love Drawee for, but this one did. This one hit it. These were great vibes and was a great prompt and everyone made great art.

Before Jacob fixed the bleed after he redid the lines, the art style hinted at classic comic books or newspapers where the lines and colors printed slightly misaligned. Tbh I kinda liked that

Ahhh, I love all the art in this so much!
I'm obsessed with Jacob's comic panel style and the dimensional shading he's been doing lately. His pieces always make me go "oooh, I wanna read more of that..."
Nathan's art is so gorgeous and colourful and I love the world-building with all the little environmental details (trees growing out of the buildings!)
I'm obsessed with Karina's character designs, they're SO visually pleasing with all the details, and I love the personality in their expressions and interactions.
And Julia's is like... I didn't know I needed it, and now my life is complete. York and Rah'ōxah, energies combined... it's perfect. I'd genuinely love for Rah'ōxah to somehow show up in season 3, and while most people find her hard to understand, she and York just immediately vibe and become silent buddies.
Sai and Lon remind me of the best friends that no one expects. Like their personalities are antithetical, their interests often collide, they both are dressed for completely different venues, yet they know the others favorite meal, darkest secret, and the other's go-to comfort activity. Its not even a childhood best friends thing, it's just two ppl that happened to spend extended time either in class or on a team that just clicked.
It took me too long to realize they weren't just calling him Nathan as a joke and that his name is just Nathan.
EPISODE SUGGESTION: Draw characters based on a voice you are not already familiar with.

"Fun" fact: even if it's rare, it sometimes happens that a character is inspired by his voice actor (whether physically, his character or his facial expressions). Ofc it only happens when the film or the series is not an adaptation, but hey, it exists.
Nathan drew a pumpkin and being from new Zealand, it took me a second to remember that most places do not have grey skinned pumpkins.

The idea of Rah'ōxah and Jancy, both very Julia characters, talking to each other feels very Id vs Superego. I love it.

I'd never seen anything from Nathan before, but I went to check his channel and I'm hooked just from the titles and thumbnails.

Nathan is one of my favourite guests ever.
It's interesting to see the process of an artist that exists outside of Drawfee, and the unique things they bring to the table.
For example, Nathan (Temporary) uses specific pattern brushes for grass or certain tree leaves, and adds pre-made effects to give the look of water, which is super interesting because it's not something you see very often from Jacob, Karina, Julia, or Nathan (Permanent).
Sorry if I got any of these terms wrong, I'm not an artist, and I want to be clear: Nathan's way of doing it is perfectly valid and came out beautifully.

first, Lon makes me think of a loyal himbo sidekick to the more villainous person (like Scorpia and Catra).
second, the first sketch of Roxas and York looked like they met at the modelling agency and York brings her along for a case without even realising she is an intimidating person.
So fun to meet Nathan, obsessed with all of these. The Roxas and York is SUCH a delight, I want them to be friends in canon
