What is missing a shot? Throwing a basket ball and it not going through the basket right? If you choose to not throw in the first place your ball isn't going through the hoop. So technically u missed even though u didn't throw the ball.

dude bro one of the drawfee creators (I think?) and really cool former member of the show. Unfortunately everyone was laid off but now it’s independently owned by the crew in this video and editor, David
Nathan and Caldwell started it all. Caldwell ist in all the old episodes, but one day he moved to L.A. for work reasons and now he is rarely on Drawfee anymore. (Drawfee Crew is based in New York) He ist still the drawfather though

The whole Karina segment of the video was so wholesome. I remember when she started and you could tell she was very shy and trying to learn the ropes and now I can't even imagine Drawfee without her.

For real though, of the whole drawfee group, she is the most intentional about improving. On their timed draws she’s almost always like “I wanted to try this new style” or “I tried something different this time.” She is always expanding her skills and practicing and perfecting, and it’s fantastic.

This is called an exquisite cadaver, and it's a creative process that exists in poetry, music, art, comics, and literature. The idea is always the same: a group of people create a story by adding something to it without knowing anything but the chapter/verse/image/panel that came immediately before it. Usually the work(s) have no title or are titled at the end. Sometimes the original artist/writer/creator who starts the exquisite cadaver will also end it. I would love to see a Drawfee Exquisite Cadaver episode!

Watching Nathan redraw his snake was wild because if I remember correctly I watched that video when it dropped around the end of my junior year/beginning of senior year of hs, and now I’m in my first year of grad school after graduating undergrad and teaching a year. I will always be grateful for what the Drawfee Team did for me. Back in 2017 my life just came to a halt; I didn't know who I was or what to do or where to go or anything. I was depressed and was having anxiety attacks daily. My sister introduced me to Drawfee that summer, and it was the first time I had genuinely laughed in months. Thank you for bringing laughter back into my life!

Man, all of this, but especially Jacob talking about the early titles just reminds me of the weird fae energy of early Drawfee. Especially the period when Caldwell first stepped back into the shadows, his aura of steel enforced mirth muted but still felt, and Nathan took over and was like...just this amazing flailing fluffly spaghetti of creative energy that somehow made it stay JUST on the tracks by sheer force of (good) will.
