@@Scriptッ that's not a bad idea, tbh. Idk about other reasons, but it'll be helpful for his followers to see if he actually repaired it or not. It's a cool idea.
As cute as that is its a pretty bad idea, batteries expand under load and theyre made specifically tohave the exact space they need to expand and no more than that. The old Galaxy Note 7 fiasco with exploding phones is what happens when they tried to reduce the expansion area by a microscopic amount to try to make the phone slimmer and boom, exploding phones
i can relate, my iphone 14 pro somehow lasted a week in a river, miraculously someone actually found it and it still worked pretty much perfectly after cleaning out the sand out of the speaker and mic holes, amazing how waterproof they are
I really love this series, it's insane to see a phone working and give it back to the owner after he had lost it i hope we can see more videos like this one!
WOW 🤩 amazing work! I also love looking for the owner. I have recovered iPhone SE from e-waste and contacted the owner last week, it is always perfect to see their reaction 😂
people don't realize how resilient Iphones are , sure the outer shell , glass , and screen will crack to shreds , the housing will bend and crack , but for some reason the boards survive , My Iphone X was lost on a FREEWAY ! I found it using my watch , it was crushed to bits . I just managed to "rebuild" it , basically new housing and the front camera and its working perfectly with the exception of face ID and Truetone which im told I can get fixed , The Front camera has a loose wire causeing it to not work but it looks untouched. I used most of the original parts and screws . Im amazed at how well built these phones are .
Could you switch the home button and the apple logo? (So that you can use the home button on the back, and that the apple logo that is on the front isn't usable?)
My phone dropped into toilet, we cleaned and dried it for a while, but it keeps turning on and off. I got the inspiration from you, and was thinking to clean every single part of it to try agian, suddenly it asked me to enter my password. OMG it feels like I hit a jackpot!
1. First clean it with distilled water 2. Drop it in ultrasonic (get a basket, dont let things to touch the walls of the ultrasonic because you can damage it)
Hey all 👋 Just started fixing my own devices and im dying to know what Screw driver hold the Guru has at his work station. I different sized screw drivers and being able to organize them would be a godsend
Honestly? Those water seals pushed well above their weight. Probably long enough for the battery to drain, so once water ingressed, little to no corrosion, because there was no electrochemical potential. Neat!
I’ve found two lost phones in the past year, my pro tip for finding the owner is to use Siri to “call mom”. 9 times out of 10 their mom will answer and you can explain who you are and arrange a pickup to get it back to them 👍🏻
Hi sir, can you make a video to check if apple has tweaked the software such that even if the battery real capacity falls below 80% it shows above 80%.

Omg the cat is so cuuutee!!! Great job for fixing the phone too
