I did this twice. I knew the most experienced pilot would lose. At the start of one event there were six pilots to fly. The instructor said, "how many of you are licensed pilots?" Two of us raised our hands. The instructor looked at the other four and said, "gentlemen, you have the advantage." It was absolutely true. Everything a "good safe pilot" learns is thrown out the window.

This is why you make aerobatics part of your primary flight training regardless of cost. An aerobatic pilot is a comfortable pilot. We don't get dead unless necessary..
