Smoking cessation is something YOU have to want to do! I smoked since I was 12 years old, & quit when I was 43! I quit several times, & always started again. Once my Dr. told me I was in the beginning stages of emphysema, it gave me the STRONG desire to quit, & I did!
RIP Kelly. You were a truly wonderful soul!

I watched this show for years and Kelly always kind of got on my nerves. Today by fluke i find out that this woman has died, she was way too young. No matter how annoying i found her to be, i am now in tears learning that she passed away. I want to curse at the heavens for taking such a loving and caring woman away so young but it wont change a thing. Rest in Peace Kelly, im so sorry.

Calling bs and staging for that fire alarm
Love how they always talk about engine failure being so rare but like every show there’s a plane with a cracked cylinder, bad mag, oil leak. It’s literally always something with these old engines. Then they have problems with the landing gear not going down, engine fire warnings. It’s kinda surprising that air Canada didn’t shut them down for safety concerns with all the problems they have. Don’t get me wrong they do a good job getting the planes on the ground safely but so many mechanical problems not because they don’t do good maintenance but just the fact they are flying super outdated planes. If they were flying modern turbine planes they wouldn’t be having all these problems so often.
They make it look like there's a problem every day because a good day, with nothing going on but regular travel doesn't make for an interesting show that's gonna keep viewers. They cherry pick the situations through the year.
And no, modern turbine engines wouldn't be having less problems, they would probably have more problems due to the rugged conditions, and extreme weather they get up there. Eventually they will have to switch over to more modern planes, but even the Electra they have, which is a modern turbine engine, the cost of just the propellers alone costs as much as 1 entire plane of the C series. So put that into consideration as well. They aren't making tons of money, but they ARE vital to the people who live up there for their very lives in terms of food and most important medical supplies. Replacing parts, and costs of the plane are significantly lower with these older planes, and they are easier to maintain and maintenance, and can deal with the weather easier than modern planes.
There's another episode where they mention that the Electra costs 5x as much to run and operate, and another episode where I got the costs of replacing just the propeller on 1 engine costing as much as an entire C series plane, that's not cheap by any means, and it's not anymore or less reliable, in-fact it's less reliable in the extreme weather, due to it taking longer to go from sitting on the tarmac for a few days during bad storms, to getting it de iced, and ready to fly again.
Then again this is all info based on what I've seen on the show + my own limited knowledge of planes + stuff I've looked up online, and other tid bits of facts from other shows that deal with airplanes, so take it as you will ultimately.

So basically this whole series can be summed up as follows....Engine problems, Engine Problems, Employee discontent, Engine Problems, More drama etc. etc. not really worth watching after about 2 episodes.

@@Northern_Farmer they can just cost $$$ to buy them..there is also need planes coming to market also such as the new Cessna Skycourier or the airbus C-229 or Spartan C-27.... But they all cost more due to being brand new and no way would this mob gamble the money on new aircraft.

Great short term with food and gift Rescue. I really don't like the idea of a village entirely dependent [more or less] on supplies that have to be imported. They need to get themselves self sustaining ... especially in the current times with warnings from Mary @ Garabandal Spain, etc.

They even have a double decker bus there,some russian jet fighters there.started a new private museum group here in markdale ont.mike send those plans of the hanger of buffalo air you posted while you were rebuilding the dtd And ill put that together and make room for that here some where in my place for you. Ucrane fighting back lol.oh found a hidden canso if you behave I'll tell you about that one hehehe.and the owner of that lives in alberta ,but the plane is here in ontario and is complete. Ole Kelly has the White Knight complex! She has quite the ego too. Fires happen every day everywhere around the world and the people deal with it. You can't save everyone all the time and the really caring people do it and don't look for the recognition. This seems really phony to me.
