Audrey showed a lot of maturity by leaving that Buffalo Airways one way street leading to nowhere. And that is exactly what lot of the young, passionate wannabe pilots lack: maturity including not grasping how they are ruthlessly being exploited and abused in this chaotic improvisation pretending to be a properly managed aviation company.
      RIP Arnie and Kelly.

The DC-3 was designed to be able to land with the gear up if necessary - that's why the tires stick out of the bottom of the engine fairings. It will cost a couple props and maybe the engines, but can be done.

Seem to recall a couple of episodes back that a pilot reamed a newish copilot an new one because the copilot had supposedly not gotten the gear lever fully into the neutral position after lowering the gear, causing a pressure drop and failure to lock the gear, corrected before landing. Any chance that it was the same plane and problem, and blame thrown in the wrong direction?

Hydraulics are tricky to diagnose because everything is hidden from view.
The fault sound like an internal-internal leak, i.e. a valve that's supposed to block flow from one connection to another, but it doesn't, either due to defective seal on a bobbin, or a damged seat, or it does not actuate correctly. One way to locate such a faliure is to touch the valves. If one is hot, it's leaking internally through a restricted oraface, the friction causing heat, depends on the working pressure and viscosity.

I doubt any of the large commercial flyers could have disembarked the passengers, unloaded the luggage, deiced a plane, loaded the luggage and re borded the passangers in anything under 2 hours.
Joe should be proud of the team he has.

It's called "stiff legging it" when you fly an aircraft with the landing gear down and locked and the landing gear pins installed. The only way the video here brings up a problem with the pins installed on landing was just for the shows producer's having to want much more "dramatics"!

I'm from Texas but my family is from the northeast of the United States of America. I've been in negative 40゚ weather before. I have a thyroid disorder that makes me overheat easily, so I was quite comfortable in my ski outfit because I went skiing. I work in a negative negative 35゚ freezer at work. I forget to bring my jacket every time and my arms are always wet and then the moisture on my skin freezes immediately. I should come more prepared for now on and forever. I got trapped in there and if I didn't start exercising even I could have frozen it could have frozen to death. Sadly, there's so siren to alarm a lock in. 🔐 🤷🏻‍♀️🥶☃️
