Joe's sharp wit and sarcastic humor under duress is really appreciated. I love the company he created to serve this unique region of our planet.
The plane did NOT break apart, please be totally honest in your titles!
I agree. Clickbait much?
Lol 😂😂😂
Hollywood/media be honest?
@@robertducat582 everyone can be honest if they choose to be.
I agree 👍.
My dad was a jet engine mechanic in Air Force serving during Korea. I cherish the stories he left with me. We used to go to airports and he would point out things to me. Dad loved planes. R.I.P. dad! ❤️
What a team of mechanics .. skilled and prepared professionals ..
The fork lift operator that dropped the power unit made a few mistakes. As shown later on, loads are transversed from point to point while low to the ground, only lifted at the last moment with minimal forward driving or reversing.
Secondly, it was on rollers. One strap will not hold the weight / enertia of a 2.5 ton load. The forks should have been kept tilted back (boom) and slow careful driving forward, no sudden breaking.
Breaking is what the load did when it hit the ground. Braking is what the forklift did.
He lifted it basically as late as he could
We have one of those loaders on order farm, the way the geometry works once you get near the top of its lift it starts tilting forward automatically, caught me out a few times with just dirt
It's really not suitable equipment for loading aircraft, they're rough operating and has no safety valves like a forklift in case of hydraulic failure
But I guess that remote you can't have dedicated gear, the same machine is prob a forklift and snow cleaner
@@fowletm1992 Regarding the odd geometry tipping forward at the EOS, I suspected as much.
There are proper fork lifts for rough working in agricultural fields and the such. Mettabo and others have them. I think they are typically at least 3.5 tons capable.
It looked to me like the tilt cylinders failed; maybe overloaded maybe just overdue maintenance.
@@fowletm1992, no, he was well back, when he lifted it.
Something fishy here: Heard a worker say that the forklift hit the plane; also the footage showed the forklift blades tilting down until the gpu fell off?? I've driven forklift at an Int'l airport...not even a whisky sippin driver would do that🤔Beats prop deadline by a couple hours...really? Producer drama.
Exactly also _my_ suspicion! The viewers want to see action and to be entertained, hence such scenes were put in there. Most likely not only the first but also the last episode I've watched! 😏
I like the resilience and determination of theBuffallo Airways bosses and the crew keep it up the good work you guys are genius people
A real team of professionals.
Att Wonder, please update the title of this excellent episode as its incorrect. Thank you for uploading all these super episodes :)
I still missed where the plane broke apart and spilled fuel all over the runway.
Bad editing of the "teaser" text. The APU being dropped caused the fuel spillage! Otherwise known as "Click Bait..."
@Jonas H - Yes, true! Where was _that_ bit?? 😆😉
It didn’t! The show producers are starting to become deceitful
Well done mickey and the team. You all did great.
With all the bad luck that has befallen Buffalo, Joe just seems to take it in His stride & goes for a ride on a Child's Scooter. Brilliant programme, I wish this was still being produced 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
as usual, an exciting episode full of drama and good humor. In fact this is the very first time I can see Buffalo Joe joking around and having a good time. Minute 24 and odd, got to get away from desk because my 11 dogs are ravenous and somebody got to give'em the special of the day; rice and chicken soup. Guys, you're incredible. Keep up things great.
I think this is the all time best episode Buffalo at its finest
I personally am learning more than that books watching you uploads..
The best episode ever!!! Lots of challenges to deal with. Love this series.
So you like challenges ? Would you fly in these conditions with these planes in the condition they're in ? Check into Bullalo's safety history.......They make their money with this phoney, scripted TV show, not being a safe, professional airline.
I L O V E this show... Thanks for putting on here!!!
Thx for upload guys. Cant wait till next episode...wanna see it now 😂
Wait a minute. Which plane broke apart? Which runway had full all over it? Was I sleeping through this video?
Tippy load... Couldn't they see and stop that from happening? Horrible! Why didn't they secure the load before it tipped? Seems like real incompetence to me.
It wasn’t the plane that broke apart it was that big huge generator thingy that was on wheels that they had to store inside over night so it didn’t freeze lol
I would be modifying the power cart by adding forklift pick slots to the top so you and roll that thing into the plane.
Apparently, Stevie Wonder was operating the forklift. 18:08
I’ve been out of the aircraft maintenance loop for a few years but I’m pretty sure one can get a life extension on aircraft parts, like props.
While I actually did quite enjoy watching this, I also believe there was a lot of stuff just happening for the sake of suspense; Like, I have a suspicion they'd simply just shut off that 'failing' motor on the plane deliberately, and that power unit falling off the forklift most likely had been on its way out already anyway. The viewers want to see action and want to be entertained! My apologies in case my impression is indeed wrong, though! 😉👍
Didn’t know a GPU was classified as a plane
😂👍
Is it just me or have they already uploaded this episode? Maybe it's just a good old case of deja vu lol.
You are Right
@@nealdietz7063 I'm right as in they already uploaded this episode or it's deja vu?
I met Joe, his wife, and Mikey in August @YEG, Joe was far more Congenial than I had figured him to be
no plane broke up on the runway spilling fuel
Love this show
Fabulous episode.
I've changed several dc3 wheels and tires. sob isn't easy. especially with seized brakes and axle tubes . combat that with a tube that's stuck to the wheel it's time consuming to get the tire off
Muppets, should have secured the gpu to the arm on the loader
RUclips : there comes a point where increasing the ads just leads to resentment rather than engagement. You have passed that point.
RUclips doesn't get to say how many ads there are...it's the uoader who decided..in this case wonder.....and to be honest I don't know how he gets away with uploading this content and getting away with it
What happened to the original theme song? It was the best!
One fantastic show.😎
Why the heck didn't they secure the GPU to the forklift so it could never have fallen off? Mikey the executive! At the end of the day, Chuck says "I won't even put my coffee down, cause I'm the man".
Forklift driver didn’t have experience how he/she did not realise the load was not level is beyond belief…
Way to go Mikey and crew!
both Electra airframe aren't very well maintained . . . the fuselage seriously needs a make over . . .
Still love this show
So I watched the episode where they crash landed the Electra after the gear didn’t come down. They had a backup Electra for that problem. A year later when the accident airplane came back into service, they didn’t have a spare cargo Electra. What happened to the Spare Electra?
So why do Electras have an APU if it is incapable of starting an engine?
The issue is that the APU operates fine at “normal” cold temperatures but is a massive drain on the aircraft at extremely cold temperatures.
"Mikey did it!"
Why does the electra need a GPU when it has an APU?
💂 MAKES ME COLD JUST LOOKING !! ONE PLACE I DON'T WANT TO GO. ..
The B737-300 they have purchased can that land on the frozen ice runways I know it cannot on the gravel strips
24:15 DEVCON may be appropriate!
Ole man needs to give up the ghost and start updating his units ..
It is common for freight airlines to have much older fleets than passenger airlines - but even after saying that buffalos fleet is old
@@lionbacker ya just like anything else at some point when liability start exceeding value of the product then you start thinking weather or not it's time to replace and upgrade. Especially something sensitive as aircraft
What if Joe bought a hawker siddeley hs 748
I’m quite surprised that they could just add a patch, without a repair plan from whoever the engineering authority is!
What engineering authority?
@@BigBlueJake, what part of ‘whoever’, don’t you understand?
A little ether for the GPU will bring it right back to life 🤣
Agreed. Where is it when it's needed?
Sorry your title is wrong!! The plane didnot break apart and spill fuel the cart on the pallet spilt the fuel!!!!!!! Get it right don't use "Click Bait" titles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe left his scooter at the dairy- nek Minut
" Fell apart on the runway", is it supposed to do that?
Could have also let some air out of the tire
... and also switched that 'faulty' plane motor off deliberately, for the sake of suspense 😏
W Mikey
I’m @ 4:08, just as Chuck arrives. My solution? Let the air from the tyre, fit the wheel, inflate the tyre.
Plane has an APU but needs a GPU?
that fork lift driver was so completely wrong on the approach that I think this was not stupidity but sabotage or maybe it was arranged for TV
I suspect it was the latter. No one even got angry in the slightest at the forklift driver either!
plane did not break apart, you have been reported for misleading. don't lie to people
2 days and you tube still didnt do anything. I just reported it as well.
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.
Agreed, have watched ice pilots, gear up landings yes, breaking up is exaggerated,.., get it right!
nothing works a typical Buffalo day and no one will learn what went wrong
Why don't they use newer aircraft
Click bait! No plane broke apart and a few gallons of fuel spilled on the ramp.
chuck should of got out on the wing and fixed it i have faith in him. he could of done it
`Keep it real! stop staging and acting
Kelly would probably still be alive if she hadn't worked for Buffalo.
Do they fake this 'drama' or is this 'airline' really this inept?
Christ, what a run of bad luck, whether scripted or not.
Joe. My problems are not as great as yours, But everything has closed in on me. The difference is your trying to save planes and business, and mine is I am 83 years old Disabled and Handycapped and my wife has Alzheimer's , And now my AAA Insurance has been canceled, Thanks to an Out Dated Google Earth photo that was taken just before I was to have a sale. Life sucks, But I am praying for you, for not only you, But all who count on you.
Spent all that money on airplanes, engines and etc, but can’t afford a K-loader?
The loading was being done at a remote site, with a driver who should stick to plowing snow.
@@BigBlueJake They don't even have a K-loader in yellowknife.
Having to work with people with horrible attitudes really sucks the life out of you. Makes for good entertainment though 😂
Less than 4 minutes in, mouth Chuck on scene. I paused and won't watch the rest. As long as he's on, I won't watch.
Plane breaks apart?!??!?
One of those Mickey Mouse Airlines that scarcely operates on a sane Level and with outdated and old Material where the mechanics and Maintenance crew who have to work day and night for salaries that be called elsewhere a mere joke. Thats all there is to these smalltimer airline.
