RE: Time Cards, it is not that complicated. I worked in a hospital ER, and personnel would frequently forget to "clock out" on their time sheets, which were hand written. So the policy was simple, if you were scheduled for a 10 or 12 hour shift, and you forgot to clock out, you were paid for a 10 or 12 hour shift. IF you worked OT that day, you lost out for not signing out and writing it down, especially if you bothered to write down, no breaks, no lunch! This pretty much corrected everyone pretty quick into signing out EVERY shift, as no one wanted to lose pay! I am talking about USA here. So they should be able to do the same thing in Canada! You just have to send out a notice to everyone and post it on a bulletin board the new policy so everyone has fair warning! Then do it! Problem solved.
RE: Plane with skis: Fantastic what those planes can do! I am officially impressed and impressed with how these pilots problem solve, keep things on a tight schedule and follow the safety rules so that everyone is safe! Totally awesome. I am afraid to fly from all the stuff I have seen down here in the States, however, from what I have seen on THIS SHOW, I would fly with these guys on one of their old planes! I would take a chance, because these guys are so safety conscious and care so much for those they service! My family knows me, and that is saying a lot!

There is no airplane ever created that matches the versatility, roughed ability and durability like the glamrous DC3. This particular video proves, the old plane and an old pilot can take her everywhere safley for what ever purposes like the good old days. Nice job folks!

The military derivative of dc3 still has 40 airplanes in service … mostly smaller countries like south africa, etc.
There's a lot more than 40. I live in Anchorage and when I drive by the airport I see five lined up on the tarmac. That's just one company.

I agree, there are more than 40, I was referring to just those still in military service. Easily see more in commercial service… never heard ho many but over 100? I heard military number of 40 came from a war history channel.

I remember one boy got one of those kids snowmobiles . Not sure what make it was . Still it was small and all the kids wanted one but that boys Dad was making lots of money and bought the boy many toys .

What happened to the little kabobs tractor ?
Okay okay we get it the ice is melting. I got it the first 16 times the speaker said it. I understand that it is dangerous to land on ice but they make it sound like 25" of ice is doing to melt in 3 hours. Other then the speaker its a great show.
That happens in a lot of these type of documentaries. 'Possible loss of money, of income, of time, loss of reputation, loss of contract, possibly losing clients, loss of equipment..., and so on. Ever watched Outback Truckers? it's even worse there. Great series nevertheless.

It's the narrative version of "click bait."
I wish there was some way to mute the announcer's voice--everything he says is negative what-if's, designed to make the audience tense.
it's interesting, you get the idea that other people (like Kelly) have "cool jobs" which are "secure" but then you realize they also face very similar problems to yourself. They should upgrade their time-card to something like what we have where you punch in/out with your thumbprint or keycard or a code. This way people won't forget and its easier/faster.
I think the show was made before the type of technology was able to be effectively used like that yet.
