Awesome video, Alex! The price is eye-watering, but the tech and the product specs are captivating. On Running really has been asserting itself lately in the elite performance market segment.
It's great that On are developing their top tier shoes and even though the price is out of reach, no doubt the tech will trickle down to other brands that will offer more budget friendly alternatives. Elite slip ON shoes.
I'm very interested to understand the explanation and pros/cons of midsole differences between the Strike and this model, the Strike LS. i.e. different hole placement, shape, material, carbon plate, etc. great video!
Alex, I really like your content, it's great. I would like to ask you, honestly, what do you think of this shoe because I'm thinking about it for when it's available again. In terms of reactivity and running economy, do you think it's top-notch, even if it's deeply different in structure from the main competitors such as vaporfly, metaspeed, alphafly, adidas evo endprlhin elite, etc? Which do you think it's similar to or is it a really different running experience? I'm interested in knowing the real benefit this shoe can bring to the athlete in terms of time and running economy. Thanks again.
Hi Maurizio. Thanks for your nice comment. It's a blend of Metaspeed and Gara Carbon. Maybe the best shoe I've tried in a while - which I don't get to say very often. Hope this helps
Will this shoe be released to the US and Europe at the same time? - do you know if this will be released before the NYC Marathon this year - this Marathon does fall in Q3 but would like to know as I would like to cope this shoe for that marathon.
Great video Alex, If you talk to ON again soon… can you ask if they plan on offering an option to custom print Stryd « loops » on those shoed ? This is what will make the purchasing decision a bit difficult for a few geeks (me included) if they don’t 😅
Yes they plan to have something. Kristian Blummenfelt used zip ties in Paris for the individual triathlon event, and I also tried gaffer tape but none of these options are really long term oriented.
3 minuetes worth 330 bucks is just plain disrespect you paying more than 1 euro per second 200 worth max enough is enough I don’t know why I draw the line at socks in normal shoes but spikes HAVE TO BE sockless lol
U cant just look at the time they take to actually make the shoe. They probably took years of development to come to this stage, and it has to pay off for them.
Is this how you value time, is this mean if you do a job faster you should get pay less? If they make this shoe in 3 weeks they should charge 3000 bucks ?

Yes hopefully this kind of tech becomes more and more available

great video!
Regular Strike: drop in midsole (removable), LS: non-removable one-piece midsole with one more "cloud"
Your thumbnail is giving serious Max Payne 1 vibes 😂
Very cool tech. They do look like quite an interesting shoe to try and get on foot.
How much give is there in the upper?
Also if you have a shallow foot without traditional laces to tighten up will they move around in them ?
Thanks interesting. I want to see that no lace upper review after 200 kms. Guessing it will stretch.
I will report on that!
When will this shoe be coming out to public ?
Hi Alex, how's the cushion? Is it bouncy shoes?
Really super bouncy yes!

To be honest I doubt it will drop in time and enough quantity to be widely available at NYC but I may be wrong
@@AlexFilitti Thanks...guess we wait...
Can I buy this is Paris?

Hehe hopefully you try reviewing 361° Flame 3.0!
We don't work a lot with this brand unfortunately
are does true to size ? I have the cloud boom strike and im 8.5 us when im normally 9us so I want to know which size should I buy in these one
Not available in any country I assume.
Not yet but soon
Looks like the shoe would come apart after the first mile 😅
It's VERY sturdy. You can pull as hard as you want on the upper and it literally never breaks. Crazy!
Very impressive weight. But not quite Adios Pro Evo 1 level;)
Or even Asics Metaspeed Paris level
Indeed but apparently (and I will test it until I can confirm) it lasts much longer than the Evo1
Would you be able to use this shoe to walk around as well? Or is it specifically for running ? Thanks
Only running
Sad but inevitable that machines are taking over from humans and skills are being lost 😢
New skills are developed by the people who create and maintain the machines. But I get your point.
3 mins = 300 😂

Insane price with shitty durability 😂
330 bucks... a machine's wage is higher than a person's
