- What does it take to make a LightSpray™ upper?
At just 3 minutes per shoe, LightSprayTM cuts out waste and unnecessary steps. Our robot fuses 1.5km of continuous filament onto a racing midsole. No seams, no laces, no distractions. Weighing just 30g, it’s lighter than humanly possible. And it’s designed specifically for our pinnacle shoes, like the Cloudboom Strike LS.

The weight improvement is insane. #Kudos
Is there a video of someone putting them on?
Very interesting, that looks like inkjet! What is the material that is being sprayed or jetted?
this is so satisfying
This is Stark Industries level of tech-thinking and solutions
Expected more from this promo 😢
Have we learned nothing from the folly of flint Lockwood?
First
Love the shoes
Keep up the amazing work!
I think we can put this under sub groups of 3D printing, of course ON would not want to be generalized that easily, they use light spray name, similar process to 3D pen. Adidas did it for the midsole, and now ON used it for the upper only. The goal seems to be lightness, 1st concern is the price will be super high, also if they use premium foam, it will add even more to the cost. And so every individual needs to have their foot scanned, and even that not always correctly fitted for the 1st time, this is the 2nd concerns, is it possible for it to be 'mass produced' with all foot types out there.
They also don't tell you that you only get one use out of them.
want them
Material Input very important😂
Cool innovation. Hope it will be in another color option beside white.
I wonder how much they will cost
As a big fan and supporter of the brand - i am disappointed that these shoes are not available on the website. while all the influencers seem to have a pair - the website shows "coming soon". please stop this exclusivity factor!!
When will these be available for purchase? And how much?
330 bucks, but don't know when they'll be released
@@Jeteso2009 Sheeeeshhhh $330!
They’re already out in limited quantities
All that for one shoe? They still have to do the other foot. Seems time exhaustive. How many of these robots do they have? How many shoes do they produce a day?
.. are you daft? Most running shoes take days, if not weeks, to get stitching, laces, glues, and other components together, let alone assemble.
Cost ? ?
330€ - members only.
Look at the Robot - kind of looks real😏👀
I’m in charge 😮
Their non lightspray shoes break so easily, these will be even more fragile, last only a couple of months with infrequent use and probably cost twice as much as other comparable shoes.
ASMR.
Because feet don't perspire, we will wrap them in plastic. That's a practical fail. Where's the video of someone putting them on and running in them?
Did you miss Paris Marathon 2024 where Hellen Obiri won bronze in these? Never mind that she won Boston wearing a prototype.
too expensive
They haven't even revealed the price yet
