There is a post on spectrum with a little more details to 60030. Just search by title „Error 60016 / 60015 / 60030“ (can’t post the link). I hope, they post updates there, since the bigger and also pinned post about known issues does not mention 60030.
I have had two massive issues where the game was unplayable. The first was getting sent to jail for no crime and not being able to get out. The elevator would not spawn me out. Just HD to get lucky in finding a server. The second was when I was serving hoping and it would not let me join and told me “server was timed out”. It also wouldn’t let me switch server due to “active avatar”. I tried to do character repair, which didn’t work. I had to re-install the game. Both of these issues took 2 days to resolve
error 30009 .. account bricked for a week my ticket was auto responded to.. so literally no way back in since 3.18 was dropped.. accounts were left bricked for months.. .. thank you for being one of the few to stand up for us..
This game will never be finished, I bought it 4 years ago and have the same issues in 3.24 as before. Same issues during the IAE. Now of course 4.0 is a new type of disaster, how on earth could they open this to the public. They lost so many people who were attracted to 4.0 and are bailing. Nobody wants to go back to 3.24, they are just going to play another game.
I am having the problem as well for 2 days but have to say at least Star Citizen did leave us a working 3.24.3 to fool with, so please calm down, let CIG have a holiday, and you have a Happy New Year. Things will get better.
I've wondered how long these servers stay up and worry PES is more of a nightmare than many of us were aware. I logged in to 3.23 when 4.0 was messed up and found two ships I'd left outside tressler after a 30K ....they were aged like nothing I've ever seen LOL but it was literally my ships and it was from 10 days prior. For 10 days two of my ships persisted one having cargo and gear still stored on board. As I was taking the gear the ships vanished leaving me floating EVA and then crashed. HA! It was so bizarre seeing that persisted for that long. Last 60030 I had lasted over 2 weeks before they dropped a patch.
@warren3174 it's an interesting error. It reeks of last minute implemented try catch. It states exactly what's wrong but there's no way to fix, very strange hahaha.
the other common error is the 60018 error where it says there are no regions available. The work around for that one is to go into Arena Commander and play one round. Then quit and go try to log into the PU again and it should work now. I had that issue earlier today.
Hey, I think the "no global chat" is also a symptom of what is to come. After the chat, I could not land because it did not recognize the Alt + N. Then the black screen of death happened. Now I have been getting the 60030 error since Christmas. I have a new HOTAS and the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 sitting in their boxes and I can't log on. Like you said, I see my friend logged in. Before getting booted or black-screened, the chat exploded with people talking about things not working all over the universe, and then I got booted off. I have reinstalled the game and launcher and verified the installation. Nothing works. Very disappointed. Time to go back into hiatus for a few years I guess.
I was getting ERROR 30009 for a whole day/evening, but then the next day I was able to get in, and I didn't do anything. I saw some old posts from years ago about the same issue and someone said something about changing your network DNS settings to the Google DNS to fix it, but I didn't get to the point of having to try that yet.
Yes 4.0 is very rough. No company to my knowledge has handled themselves in this poor support manner.. I have tried everything when I could not login but I have had to repair my character and region hope. I do get in but it has happened a lot since 4.0 dropped.

I have had the same message on my screen trying to log in after a black screen but thank God it did fix itself a few mins later. Now i wont even attempt to log in to PU, just stick to AC, at least that seems to work. Not a great loss ATM for me, i could not finish any mission in the last few days, bugs everywhere, stopped trying. PU is in a bad state now.
I got on the game after a few years of taking a break and it looked so different that I felt invested and bought a vulture to try out salvage. Immediately got this error code and haven't been able to hardly use it at all. Going on 4-5 days now
@@MrSlvr2000 I just don't know if my case is the hardware. I got through the character creator, set my primary residence at Orison. Then at some point during the loading screen it all goes black. Even if I have it windowed, the entire monitor goes black and won't even CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to task manager. It's an AMD 2600 with 16gb of 3600 RAM with a Sapphire Pulse 5700XT GPU. I have everything but the cooler to upgrade the CPU, MOBO, and RAM, but it's on the xmas list, and scheduling conflicts with grown kids with SOs has put that off to the weekend. So, my case well be my end. But if it still doesn't work....
I had it last patch. They don't bother fixing it. I had to wait till the current patch until I can login again. Even though its fixed for me, I haven't been logging in much & I won't be spending any $ on SC until they get around to fix this issue
Backer for 10 yrs and I'v been locked out more than my fair share while other sit back and have no issues at all. I still don't understand the lack of help from support. As a backer I feel that you should be able to participate as anyone.

I had the same problem. After I completed a character repair, I went into Arena Commander, changed the region and played Free Fly for a few minutes. It didn't work. Then I switched back to my region in Arena Commander and played Free Fly again for a few minutes. Then I was able to connect to the live server again. Of course, this could all be a coincidence.....

I have had the 60k error twice and have been stuck on loading screens repeatedly; however, I have been able to get back into the game after a number of tries. My main problems are hanger related. I have not been able to spawn ground vehicles in the hanger or to get them out of the garage if I spawned them there. About the only thing worth doing right now is collecting Luminalia gifts.
I've read reports that going into arena commander will unlock your character from the shard. Can't say myself if it works as I haven't had the pleasure of this bug yet.
I've had infinite loading screens over the last couple of days but Loading in to Arena Commander and entering Freeflight then logging back out has seemed to fix it for me on mulltiple occasions.
Don’t get me wrong, I can understand your frustrations not being able to play 4.0 Been in similar situation myself (and thousands others), where many was not able to play release 3.18 at all and for a LOT longer than 4 days, at which time we did not have any alternative releases to play with. 4.0 is a Preview, since you have been playing for a while, you should know by now that (almost) every release is riddled with bugs …. But here is the thing, its not a release, it is a PREVIEW and we were warned …. On the same time as having full access to a LIVE 3.24.3 build. Yes, I do know that any progress on 3.24 will be wiped, so any grind is pointless, but you do have access to the game and can burn a few hours easily on the game that you have invested in. Its not that you don’t have access to the game at all, is it? I think CIG did the right thing, make it a preview available on the same time as keeping the live build open, preventing a 3.18 situation. Yes, there are bugs and yes, those bugs probably takes a bit longer to get resolved as it is Christmas and CIG like any other company probably run on a skeleton staff to allow their people to enjoy time with family and friends, no different to what you and I did …. Right?
But that's just it it's not really a preview. The patch literally says live, they just couldn't have two live names. In the letter to the chairman it actually says its a live build. As far as the vacations goes everyone deserves a vacation.......everyone. With that said if my work went down you better believe I'd get a call and be at work fixing it.....such is life. I just don't think throwing up a new exciting patch that people waited years for and then locking 1000s out is a good thing and then saying go play out old one without all the cool stuff is a good thing that's all.

It's getting ridiculous at this point. I've been a backer since 2012, you would think that they would be ironing bugs out even in alpha so they don't have to contend with the later on... there has only been a few stable versions of SC alpha - for the most part it's been a massive mess with no end in sight for this insanity. I don't recommend anyone buy this game until they get their act together.

Ich habe das selbe Problem nun auch seit zwei Tage, es nervt einfach nur. Ingame wird man nach 10 min inaktiv rausgeschmissen. Nun wird man nach 72 Strunden inaktiv in einem Shard entfernt, ich verstehe es nicht. Das muss doch mal einer Fixen diesen Müll.

People dont forget its xmis break. For exampel the german Studio is closed 25/26 is a puplic holiday and today is a sunday so also closed And its typicl in german to have company more or less closes for the week from 24 to 31.

Trust me.....they know. I've responded to multiple tickets. The issue council reports are growing. Not one word from them.
In 3.18 i couldnt log in for like 3 months. I ended up disabling ipv4 in my network settings and somehow that worked.

Goes from loading screen to enter Orison, and after a while whole screen just goes black. Not sure if it's my ancient hardware, or CIG's end.

60030 stayed for me until an actual patch dropped. It sucked. Too bad they nerfed Character Reset to Character Repair. Reset used to work for this.

And its typicl in german to have company more or less closes for the week from 24 to 31.

Buy another starter pack. Play it until yours is fixed, then do a giveaway for it.

I’m in exact same boat since Sunday, such a bummer. I got started in the game during IAE and was super impressed with the game, but 4.0 has been a total bummer. Can’t even see their hard work.
This is what sucks.......you just got the game paid money and can't even access while other can
