Sorry to hear man. Hope they drop a hotfix soon. There's no excuse for that crap on their part but they always seem to drop patches on Fridays and before holidays and create this type of issues. They just don't care is what I believe.
When I got the black screen of death I knew about there being one, but not any work arounds. All I did was hit the computer reboot button and it rebooted normally and back in. I lost a quarter mill in salvage but was back in business. I've seen where the black screen may not be a black screen per se', but a dark screen with like a 19k-ish message that you can't see and you need to try to keep clicking around to find the hidden "ok" button. Yes, as usual, Chris drops a major patch/update at the worst time and we get a 3.18 part 2. As much as I don't want to go back, at least there is a game to play in 3.24 where before we had nothing to do.
For what it's worth, I agree with you. I dont want to go play 3.24 and we shouldn't have to. I've tried everything, even two character resets and no luck.
The other fix is that you can pledge a new ship and that'll reset your account from the server because it'll have to refresh your accessible ships. You have better luck if the ship is over $100. (Sarcasm heavily implied)
But they are on vacation! Joking. Its outrageous. My guys all had a pact to jump to Pyro together. We can't because one of us is locked out. Backers since 2016... A lot of money pledged.
Just throw it out there man. I've had some success with shutting down my computer for a short amount of time. Had some success with arena Commander and I've also had some success. Whenever nothing else worked I load back into 3.24 play that for a few minutes log out then just now I got let back into the 4.0 don't know if that helps but maybe
My issue is that i went to prison and now i have no legit jobs in the contracts tab, I have trie like 12 different work arounds people have told me to try and stillnothing!
@@MrSlvr2000 Yeah i didnt have the 60030 error but it did fix another one (update: I HAVE now had one of those errors, for me at least ipconfig/flushdns worked)
Have you tried using VPN from different countries? Does that have any effect. Trying to figure out if it's a network location issue or game file issue or what. Only other thing I would try if it was me is a complete uninstall, delete all files/registry entries tied to the game and reinstall and see if that does anything. If we can figure out if it's file issue or network connection issue, that would help. The fact that Arena works but PU doesn't is very strange.

Verifying files did nothing. But complete wiping the game and all files. Then reinstalling only 4.0 worked
