I saw the Selena gravesite a few months after she died. Looks like alot of fencing was added since. She also has a statue by ocean wall in downtown Corpus Christi. Very cool.
Seeing Selena's grave makes me teary eyed even now. I miss her and her music so much. She had one of the most soothing voices out there for Tejano music and her music still helps me sleep to this day.
My mother and her immediate family rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville, South Carolina. I found Shoeless Joe’s resting place when I was looking for my cousin’s grave. Glad to see Joe, and Woodlawn, featured.
It was great to see Jane Addams included. The schools up here take a quick 5 mile or so drive up the road to learn about her and her legacy. Sadly, on January 19, 2012, Hull House was closed.

So glad i watched this episode!! My brothers and i were great fans of johnny yuma. We were never aware of his burial location. Iive about 45 minutes from the cemetery where he was laid to rest!!!!!!! None of us knew this!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
I was blessed to be at Jim Croce's next-to-the-last concert before his death. It was in a small college theater and I was in the front row stage right. It was just him and Maury Muehleisen on guitars. He spoke to the audience as if we were in his living room. 36 hours later, on the way to school, the radio announced the plane crash and their deaths. I cried for days.
DreadHead_DMG I went and visited her grave during the weekend of Fiesta de la Flor. The grave is beautiful and it was surreal being there but at the same time it was a sad reminder that Selena is no longer with us.

Let me give you and everyone else reading this some idea of how big of a deal and rarity it is for me to give something like this praise. As I said, I’m severely uncomfortable and uneasy around all the death stuff. I’ve nearly passed out at a few wakes in front of coffins, broke out into a sweat with rapid heartbeat in front of another coffin...I’m better towards the back of the viewing rooms but still can’t be in one for long. At my Grandpa’s funeral, I voluntarily left the room before they closed his coffin. I had to walk directly by the hearse to get out to the parking lot and very nearly passed out with that. Last year at my job I was a cart pusher, one day we had someone come in from a funeral home and wouldn’t ya know it they just had to come in the hearse! I could only see it from behind so I didn’t realize what it was until I got into the corral RIGHT next to it! I ran away as fast as I could, basically tripping over myself as soon as I saw it right there. I was asked to be a pall bearer for Grandma on mom’s side when she died, I couldn’t do it. I told my Mom if I had to they’d have to do two burials. I made a recent decision-no state law says I HAVE to be buried in a coffin or be transported in a hearse so I’ve decided I won’t be subjected to either. Just that one decision made me feel a little easier. Everyone should choose what’s best for them and on their terms. Your videos aren’t scary at all, they’re a true celebration of all these celebrities lives. I think and hope they’d more than approve of it. Hopefully they didn’t mind your visits! You got yourself a subscriber, again coming from someone scared shitless of the death stuff that should be an enormous compliment!

I met David Brenner at 11:44. David along with Gregory Hines and Michael J. Fox are the three kindest celebrities I've ever met of all the celebrities I've met here in New York City. I even have his autograph on my book I bought about Howard Stern called Private Parts. Ironically, Howard snubbed me and did not want to sign his own book. but, days later in the same spot right outside of the David Letterman entrance, David Brenner signed the book and even talked to me kindly for a few moments. RIP David Brenner.

I got to meet Roy Clark in August of 2018 at my Daughter in law family reunion. Very nice man . At Cherry Plains Park in Stephentown NY . He has Family there.

Several of the cemeteries in this video are close to me. I have relatives in Sts. Peter & Paul. I will make it a point to seek out the resting places shown in this video, and when I visit my daughter and grandchildren in Greenville, SC, I'll look up Shoeless Joe. Ironically enough, my grandparents are buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, and they are just down the road from the grave of Cornelius McGillicuddy, better known as Connie Mack, manager of the Philadelphia Athletics. I have placed baseballs and a home plate at his grave.
I grew up two blocks away from Glendale cemetery..as kids we use to visit Howard Hughes an walk around the cemetery at nite...love it my child hood was great..
Roy Clark is one of the greatest guitarists to ever live!!! He could play classical guitar better than nearly anyone. He could probably play nearly as well as Segovia himself! He was a spectacular musician. And in the same cemetery as my fav comic, Sam Kinison. RIP

15:41 Just visited Memorial Park in Tulsa this past weekend and visited with Leon Russell. A top hat had been blown down off his stone so we picked it up, brushed it off and replaced it. Played 'Song for You' while sitting on the accompanying benches, enjoying the lake view.
Correction: Pete Fountain was 86, not 76 when he died.

Mr.Dark, Thank you for inspiring others to follow in your footsteps, and to share their efforts with us. I am from Philadelphia, and still live in the area. Several of the cemeteries in this video are close to me. I have relatives in Sts. Peter & Paul. I will make it a point to seek out the resting places shown in this video, and when I visit my daughter and grandchildren in Greenville, SC, I'll look up Shoeless Joe. Ironically enough, my grandparents are buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, and they are just down the road from the grave of Cornelius McGillicuddy, better known as Connie Mack, manager of the Philadelphia Athletics. I have placed baseballs and a home plate at his grave.

I grew up two blocks away from Glendale cemetery..as kids we use to visit Howard Hughes an walk around the cemetery at nite...love it my child hood was great..

Roy Clark is one of the greatest guitarists to ever live!!! He could play classical guitar better than nearly anyone. He could probably play nearly as well as Segovia himself! He was a spectacular musician. And in the same cemetery as my fav comic, Sam Kinison. RIP

Just visited Memorial Park in Tulsa this past weekend and visited with Leon Russell. A top hat had been blown down off his stone so we picked it up, brushed it off and replaced it. Played 'Song for You' while sitting on the accompanying benches, enjoying the lake view.
