miss Selena and her beautiful song "Dreaming of you" gives me goosebumps every time I sing it, RIP beautiful lady.
I miss Selena too
Beautiful song. Why God had to take her so soon. Please take the annoying progressive lady in the commercials.
Same.
RIP to Selena I live in her hometown and where she is laid to rest nice way you did her part in the video
Weirdly my name is seleena
Munckin Fam Corpus Christi is not her home town IDIOT!! Recheck your information!! I live in corpus also
@@tammylopez8502 she lived there. So it's considered her hometown. Not where she was born.
Love her music
Hurts to see her gravesite. Incredibly young, I just don’t understand how someone was so evil to take so much away from her. A whole future seemed to await her. But then again no one really knows when will be our last day on this earth. 😟
SELENA🥀😥 I would want to visit her grave sometime! Thank you for sharing❣️
Thanks for visiting Selena And Howard Hughes grave sites
I'm a fan of Selena and have two of her albums called Amor Prohibido,Mis Mejores Canciones 17 Super Exitos I wish she was still alive to see her album of Dreaming of you
Victoria Juarez Selena is buried in her hometown of Corpus Cristi TX
I know but what if she was still alive to this day?
Victoria Juarez 😭😢
I have several. Her Dreaming of You is my favorite one.
Jayne Mansfield also had a daughter, Mariska Hargitay, who we all know as Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU
He mentioned this in his video of Hollywood forever cemetary, Where Jayne's cenotaph is at.
@@catperson945 Mariska is still alive, you mean Jane Mansfield? Did you know her personally? If no how can you make such claims?
ChexiiBabii88 you can REALLY see the resemblance between them in one of the pics used in this video.
My dad was a fan of Jayne Mansfield when he was a teenager and can see how much Mariska looks like her mom
I think Mariska was in the car when her mom was killed.
thanks for including the cause of death on most of your subjects. Saves us a lot of time looking it up. Good job

My mother and her immediate family rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville, South Carolina. I found Shoeless Joe’s resting place when I was looking for my cousin’s grave. Glad to see Joe, and Woodlawn, featured.
BelievingRebel Greenville sc sux
BelievingRebel sorry
Big boss man was one of my favorite wrestlers. His police character was my all time favorites.
Selena’s ending was very very sad. So young and talented. Gone too soon.
I'm upload his grave. I can walk to the cemetery where he is buried from my house. About a 15 min walk.
K Clayton : thanks. Those were the days. I’m still in disbelief at how many wrestlers have died. Very sad. I grew up with these great athletes.
Your welcome sir. When Macho Man passed that was a total shock to me.
And the graves the Von Erichs? this the Texas in Grove Hill Memorial Park
Thank you so much for including Selena in Your video... I loved her so much she was my favorite...
I saw the Selena gravesite a few months after she died.
Looks like alot of fencing was added since.
She also has a statue by ocean wall in downtown Corpus Christi.
Very cool.
Seeing Selena broke my heart 😭🥺.
There was a processing glitch in the first upload, had to re-upload. Fixed a few errors in the process. Part 2 coming soon...
Hollywood Graveyard how soon?!?!?!?
Be still my beating heart!
Hollywood Graveyard when ???
I sure hope someone gets Jim Morrison’s grave in Paris. Looking forward to part 2! Keep up the good work!
Keep up the great work Arthur 👍
Thanks to all those who filmed and submitted clips.
I called in to a office for confirmation on things. When I asked the receptionist what her name was, she simply stated “Selena” 🌸 I immediately thought about the beautiful Queen that have the hearts of others 💞 R.I.P beautiful angel 🙏🏽 She’s currently singing with the angels now ✨
I agree with what people say about Selena. Such a beautiful woman with a real gift. So sad she was killed. She may not be here physically but she will be with us with her songs and in our hearts.
Her killer could get released....so sad if that happens. A life sentence should be 70 years, an average life span. Killers get such a small sentence compared to a living life.....
@@judyfowler2023 hopefully Salazar is going no where...apparently she is still unrepentant...even if she says she is sorry...she is far too dangerous.....
I absolutely love these. Gorgeously shot, delightfully narrated, a trip around the world without ever leaving my chair. Thanks so much!
Jim Croce, all these years later it still tears me up thinking about his death. I was a little boy when he died but his songs where everywhere and was a huge fan of his even then. Such a HUGE talent gone way too soon. His song writing is up there with the best of them...... RIP Jim Croce.
Wow this was fantastic. Such great artists. Selena touched my heart the most. She was so young and beautiful.
I got to visit Selena a few months ago. Her spirit is all through Corpus Christi 💜💜 beautiful grave must see in person.
DreadHead_DMG I went and visited her grave during the weekend of Fiesta de la Flor. The grave is beautiful and it was surreal being there but at the same time it was a sad reminder that Selena is no longer with us.
Ana Johnson 😭🙏
Thank you to all that submitted the videos, much appreciated, and as always, the research and narration is impeccable.
I never knew about the "Mansfield Bar" on trucks and how it got it's name. Very interesting!
It was great to see Jane Addams included. The schools up here take a quick 5 mile or so drive up the road to learn about her and her legacy. Sadly, on January 19, 2012, Hull House was closed.
My late father got to work as security for Jayne Mansfield at an event. He said she was a very nice lady.
Hi Arthur! I wanted to give you a ton of kudos for this series, it’s incredibly well done, classy as well as respectful, and extremely informative! Very well researched! I learned a lot about a ton of big names I knew only by their most famous works. Great production values. This praise is coming from someone who is incredibly uneasy and uncomfortable around all the death stuff normally. All the death industry stuff freaks me out so for me to praise this says a lot! Thank you for doing this for us, and also for crediting everyone who submitted videos for the project!
Highlighted comment from you made my week! Thank you for that. Let me give you and everyone else reading this some idea of how big of a deal and rarity it is for me to give something like this praise. As I said, I’m severely uncomfortable and uneasy around all the death stuff. I’ve nearly passed out at a few wakes in front of coffins, broke out into a sweat with rapid heartbeat in front of another coffin...I’m better towards the back of the viewing rooms but still can’t be in one for long. At my Grandpa’s funeral, I voluntarily left the room before they closed his coffin. I had to walk directly by the hearse to get out to the parking lot and very nearly passed out with that. Last year at my job I was a cart pusher, one day we had someone come in from a funeral home and wouldn’t ya know it they just had to come in the hearse! I could only see it from behind so I didn’t realize what it was until I got into the corral RIGHT next to it! I ran away as fast as I could, basically tripping over myself as soon as I saw it right there. I was asked to be a pall bearer for Grandma on mom’s side when she died, I couldn’t do it. I told my Mom if I had to they’d have to do two burials. I made a recent decision-no state law says I HAVE to be buried in a coffin or be transported in a hearse so I’ve decided I won’t be subjected to either. Just that one decision made me feel a little easier. Everyone should choose what’s best for them and on their terms.
Your videos aren’t scary at all, they’re a true celebration of all these celebrities lives. I think and hope they’d more than approve of it. Hopefully they didn’t mind your visits!
You got yourself a subscriber, again coming from someone scared shitless of the death stuff that should be an enormous compliment!
Thank you, thank you, thank you- to whomever filmed Gene Tierny’s grave. She was and always has been, my favorite! Xx 😍💕😘💗
Arcadia Ardana I loved Jean Tierney in The Razor’s Edge. It also starred my absolute fav Ty Power.
Brian piccolo , i remember watching the movie with my dad ,my dad was in tears along with myself , rip brian 🕊⚘🏈
That was a terrific movie, such a sad story
I was blessed to be at Jim Croce's next-to-the-last concert before his death. It was in a small college theater and I was in the front row stage right. It was just him and Maury Muehleisen on guitars. He spoke to the audience as if we were in his living room. 36 hours later, on the way to school, the radio announced the plane crash and their deaths. I cried for days.

So glad i watched this episode!! My brothers and i were great fans of johnny yuma. We were never aware of his burial location. Iive about 45 minutes from the cemetery where he was laid to rest!!!!!!! None of us knew this!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
I can't wait for you to post new videos .... so until then, I will just rewatch the ones you have already done .... over and over again!!! :)
Seeing Selena's grave makes me teary eyed even now. I miss her and her music so much. She had one of the most soothing voices out there for Tejano music and her music still helps me sleep to this day.
Regarding the gravesite of Susan Hayward @ Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Carrollton Ga., --you probably don't know this, but she designed that cemetary, and her husband Eaton Chalkley was the 1st person buried there. She is buried next to him.
My grandparents are buried at St. Peter and Paul in Springfield pa...wow
I am thrilled that a couple of my graves made the cut. Leon Russell and Roy Clark.
I wonder why no marker for Roy Clark?
@@bay9886 Roy passed away fairly recently in Nov. The foundation was in place so I would expect a stone sometime soon.
@@billl1127 Thank you so much for the information.

My dear friend, you missed to mention that Leon Russell is the composer of "This Masquerade", a song that won 3 Grammy Awards in 3 different categories on the same night !!! Rest in peace, Leon...
Thank you for visiting Selena 🙏😔🌹🌹😭😭😭
16:20+ Wow! What a difference in the appearance of the old vs. new sections. Roy Clark's space is unmarked and untended. Love watching these graveyard vids. They make me feel so alive.
How can you tell Roy Clark is resting here? Where’s the marker?
I was curious too
Your voice is so soothing. I’d let you read me a bedtime story.
This series was most interesting and well done!
The music is nostalgic, reminds me of Disneyland in a way

Hope Roy Clark has a head stone by now. I watched Hee Haw on Saturday nights right before wrestling.
And Roy Clark did Wylers koolaid commercials. I enjoyed Hee Haw
Thank you so much for this wonderful documentary of some of the wonderful actors, actresses, entrepreneurs and philosophers and authors whom have inspired us in many ways
@ “Hollywood Graveyard” : be sure, when you visit the UK, to visit the grave, and statue, of the Native-American ‘Princess Pocahontas’ (1595-1617) to be found at the St.George Churchyard, Gravesend, Kent, England. She was a prominent figure of the original James’ Town Settlement; and much beloved of the English. Regards.
Wow! Whoever visited Berwick missed the chance to head over to Jim Thorpe, PA, to see the grave of the Olympic champ for whom the town was named when the neighboring communities of Mauch Chunk and East Mauch Chunk decided to combine.

could you do a military veterans episode?
Yes, thats a good idea. If you go to Arlington you could pick up the graves of Lee Marvin, Charles Durning, and Phyliss Kirk plus others
Even famous general's and those who movies were made of their heroics.
I got to meet Roy Clark in August of 2018 at my Daughter in law family reunion. Very nice man . At Cherry Plains Park in Stephentown NY . He has Family there.
Anything for Selenaaas💜🌹😭
Lol
Im a big fan of your channel. You do an awesome job. I love the history you put out. Keep up the great work.

Roy Clark should have a headstone by now...Great Series! Good job!
I’m about 20 minutes from pen argyle pa and had no idea Jayne Mansfield was buried there, I’ll have to go take a visit!
I'm about 30min from her grave (Bath, Pa).
Loved hee haw my grandmother always watched it
Mr.Dark, Thank you for inspiring others to follow in your footsteps, and to share their efforts with us. I am from Philadelphia, and still live in the area. Several of the cemeteries in this video are close to me. I have relatives in Sts. Peter & Paul. I will make it a point to seek out the resting places shown in this video, and when I visit my daughter and grandchildren in Greenville, SC, I'll look up Shoeless Joe. Ironically enough, my grandparents are buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, and they are just down the road from the grave of Cornelius McGillicuddy, better known as Connie Mack, manager of the Philadelphia Athletics. I have placed baseballs and a home plate at his grave.
I have family in st peter and paul too i live in Delco
All the videos I've seen so far of all of these well known people is not just a sight to see but a little bit of history as well. Not only musicians&actors but inventors, wrestlers, presidents, writers& many more. Very interesting the way you film these grave sights can't wait to watch more

A- Arthur your videos are AMAZING, and i LOVED what you were able to accomplish in New York, especially while your time there was very limited. B- I do hope in one of these fan submission videos we can see the handful of New York graves that were missed -- John Hughes, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Ray Sharkey, Brad Renfro.
I grew up two blocks away from Glendale cemetery..as kids we use to visit Howard Hughes an walk around the cemetery at nite...love it my child hood was great..
This awesome I'm glad you let the viewers do this
Jim Croce, wow, what a monumental loss. All that talent lost.
I live next door to the Abraham and Marcella Quintanilla.
Selena's mom and dad
@Chris Cooper mr. Quintanilla very quiet to himself hardly ever smiles waved at me about three times in two years .
never waved at mrs. Quintanilla seen her a handful of times in 2 years and never said hi
@Chris Cooper yes I couldn't imagine my daughter dying before me especially in a violent way but here in this community he's not well liked he expects a lot of things for free so I've heard and we have a festival here in his daughter's name which will no longer be allowed next year because he didn't get enough money from the city
@Chris Cooper he didn't get the 200,000 he wanted he only got 80,000 and was upset so they're not going to do it anymore
Chris Cooper yeah
Reel Locos yeah
St. Augustine Florida has the oldest graves in America. The yellow fever cemeteries are some of the saddest as you see just how many people that epidemic killed.
Yes it is the oldest city in the country 🇺🇲
you talked about jayne Mansfield she's the mother of actress Mariska hargitay
Omg I live in Charleston I have been to that cemetery AND I HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS THERE! and who she was! There’s another famous person too
Why has this been reposted? I got so excited for a part 2
Because there were process issues.
You don't have to be mean
I'm 66 yrs old now but I think back about the thoughts I had in my head when I was a 14 yr old boy when I saw pictures of Jayne Mansfield. OMG
I met David Brenner at 11:44. David along with Gregory Hines and Michael J. Fox are the three kindest celebrities I've ever met of all the celebrities I've met here in New York City. I even have his autograph on my book I bought about Howard Stern called Private Parts. Ironically, Howard snubbed me and did not want to sign his own book. but, days later in the same spot right outside of the David Letterman entrance, David Brenner signed the book and even talked to me kindly for a few moments. RIP David Brenner.

It's rumored that Sam Kinison was talking to someone no one else could see right before he died and seemed to be asking why he had to "go." Finally, he murmured "Okay, okay," before he passed. Spooky!
I read that too. His angel come to take him home I believe.
I was a hospice nurse . It has not been unheard of for the patient to be seeing or speaking to a unseen person., before passing. It’s been documented in Medical Journals.

Howard Hughes was the Inspiration for Iron Man’s Alter ego: Edward Anthony “Tony” Stark.
I just watched this special, and noticed a misquote, about Peter Fountain, jazz musician. If the dates are correct, he was 86 at death, not 76 as mentioned (1930-2016). Just noticed it, that's all.
