I can't seem to leave a comment but I can reply to your comment. The chapel you showed was also used on True Blood, as the Fellowship of the Son church. Also, you can see deer around sunrise and sunset. They come out of the hills to eat flowers.
Most of my immediate family members are interred at Rose Hills. Both sets of grandparents, great aunts and uncles and Mom and Pop are buried at Rose Hills. I purchased two grave sites back in 1998 when my maternal grandmother passed away. It's very easy for me to spend an entire day at Rose Hills visiting all of my relatives and friends. I also have some Vietnam Vets buried here to whom I pay my respects, HM3 Charles Duessent KIA Feb. 12, 1970. Chuck was from El Monte and graduated with me in 1966 from Rosemead High School. The second Vietnam Vet I visit is BM3 Robert Thompson KIA May 19, 1969. Bob was from Downey and he and I served on Swift Boats in Vietnam. We also went through SERE training at the same time. I remember this because he and I were thrown into the two man Box during the POW phase of training.... circa early July, 1968 at Warner Springs. Even though I'm standing next to a head stone which marks the grave of a deceased loved one, I really don't think of them in death. The headstone simply marks the location of a person I loved and enjoyed in life and it's their life I choose to remember. Mark Bell
Mark Bell as a fellow Vet , thank you for your service to our country. My father and uncle were both in Vietnam. While they were both there before I was born. I was told that neither of them were the same when they came back. Thanks again for your service.
#MarkBell - On behalf of myself and my family, I'd like to sincerely "Thank You" for your services. I know you sacrificed a lot, that's for sure. I also know the haunts as well as the happy memories you've carried with you all of your life. My dad served in the Korean War and would never talk about it because, even though he wouldn't say so, you could see it in his eyes whenever someone would ask him anything about the war or when he was thinking of his friends that were lost in battle, however, I did get some info from my mother that she managed to get from him, he said that he lost a close family friend on the front lines, saw him as he was hit and killed instantly and that has haunted him the rest of his life (RIP Dad
#PatrickVerona - My brother in-law was also in Vietnam, he too would, and still won't, talk about his experience while there. Once, he told my sister when she asked that it was like Hell On Earth...that's all he ever said about it from that day (more than 40 years ago) to this one. He was in a badly wounded and spent 6 months in a body cast, still...he never spoke of what happened...ever!! Please keep up your amazing work... love seeing these places and learning about the people who have gone before. 🌺
It’s not weird at all to be drawn to the mystery of cemeteries. Much history there. I lived in Whittier for many years and know about Rose Hills but never knew so many famous people were buried there. Also didn’t realize how big it is.
What I like about your channel is the stories behind these names that we don't recognize. You make sure they are not forgotten. Also how quickly and informative you cover each gravesite. Awesome work.
The coyote is often thought of as a trickster, a joker, and even a shape-shifter, but he is also revered, especially in Native American culture, as an important messenger of personal transformation through self-reflection. A coyote sighting is generally a message to take a look within, to not take life too seriously, to lighten up, and to learn to laugh at ourselves and even our mistakes. Coyotes also remind us that anything we do to others will come back to us-good or bad.
Born and raised in Whittier. Live 10 Mins away. My Grampa & great Grampa and Grandma reside here. Such a beautiful place. My grandma and I would visit the pond and feed the ducks when I was younger. Fun facts: "Terminator 3" was filmed on the outside of the small mausoleum. And they Filmed "True Blood" in the large chapel. P.S. what a great video to share with my family:)
Usually I can watch these with no problem but man it hit me hard seeing Thuy Trang. She was my childhood crush and when I first saw her, I thought she was the most gorgeous woman in the world. I used to get picked on by others because I liked her more than Kimberly lol. I hoped one day I could meet her and give her a hug. RIP Thuy! We love and miss you.
I'd prefer Thuy Trang over Kimberly....that Yellow ranger was the love of my life when I was a kid .when I heard she passed away, I couldn't eat for almost a month....she was definitely a hot Mamacita....muahh rip 😘
Thanks for the video. My bedroom window in the first house I lived in (built by my father in what was then South San Gabriel and is now Rosemead) looked out on the Rose Hills sign, some 5 miles away - beyond Whittier Narrows Recreation area. We moved when I was 6 years old, but the memory of that sign is still vivid 60 years later. Not surprisingly, both my parents are buried there.
Guadalupe Ontiveros: "I am proud to represent those hands who that labor in this country." I love this since one, I met my husband at a custodial job in college; and two, my job not long ago was a housekeeper at a nursing home. A lot of good ones in this. The one I liked most is Keye Luke as I had no idea who he was until you started explaining him and then I realized many of us are familiar with him. His grave is on my bucket list.
I've watched these interesting Hollywood Graveyard videos, over and over again. Each time I watch them I learn something new. The graveyards in Switzerland, below the Alps, where Richard Burton is buried, are simply breathtaking, literally!
*One yr later after your post, Arthur Dark's vid of the cemetery in Whittier totally surprises me. I didn't know it was as old as it is & includes some notables who I didn't think would have plots miles east of LA/Hollywood. I also didn't realize that a cemetery without the format of headstones instead of markers went back so many decades. I assumed most older cemeteries had rows of stone marching up & down acres of land. The layout of a Rose Hills, etc, actually has a more of a tranquil, park-like quality. Dark's vids have given me a look at how cemeteries have been arranged in the LA area. Some of them have sort of a "Mr DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up" quality. lol*
Besides being able to defy gravity, Arthur Dark has psychic powers. I always wondered who was responsible for the fantastic bass performance on "Billie Jean." Thanks to Arthur Dark, I now know it was Louis E. Johnson. And don't forget "Strawberry Letter 23" - a funk classic. Thank you for yet another informative and beautifully photographed video for which I am most appreciative. And may God bless the coyote.
If it weren’t for Louis E. Johnson, we would not have that amazing bass line in Billie Jean. Thank you Louis E. Johnson, you and your bass have done amazing things to the music history🌹

Another excellent video. I know California has been hit with droughts, but it's heartbreaking to see all the brown grass. Cool seeing the coyote. Keep up the good work.
This channel is easily the best channel on RUclips about grave tours. I've seen a lot of grave tour channels. But, this channel is the only channel that does it right by including a mini biography of the deseased, sometimes a short clip and the fact that this channel shows graves of people of all nationalities is really special. Even watching graves here of people I didn't know, with the bio about them, I learned about them. Thank you Hollywood Graveyard for your hard work in remembering human beings that were special and become the prime stars after life on your RUclips videos.
It gets old for me to say your selections are the very best, but they are. The music is soooooo haunting and effective. Golly I have never even heard of this cemetery before! You hit it out of the park again.
This is very interesting, especially the forgotten actors of a bygone era. Once the biggest starts of there time are barely remembered or forgotten, I wonder if it will be the same 100 years from now when our present actors are long gone.
Looking at Gravity Hill, I think that it’s an optical illusion but can also sense that it’s haunted! 👻 Ellen Beach Yaw’s voice is incredible! Leaving these flowers here for her and all the departed 💐

I so look forward to these videos. They are always informative and done impeccably well. Thank you so much for including Louis Johnson from the Brothers Johnson in this video.
Sad to see how some of the actors and actresses from old Hollywood and the silent era are seemingly forgotten good to see someone remembering them and with a lot of info as well ❤️
Wow, these cemeteries are huge and amazing! Never seen any bigger than Arlington a few hours away from where I live in PA. Sleepy Hollow cemetery was unusual, very hilly. Cemeteries sure hold so much history. Thanks for the wonderful tours Arthur!
I love your channel. I am a huge fan of the late, great writer, producer, director, John Hughes... If you’re ever in Illinois, please do a grave tour in his honor. I know it’s a stretch but it never hurts to ask. 🤗
RhettyforFun my favorite movies as well... Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Weird Science, there’s just so many to name. His grave is definitely on my bucket list as well. 😊
@@nikkid01 There's a ton! I don't think there will ever be another like him. I'm amazed at how quickly he could come up with something. There is a lot of swearing but my guilty pleasure is Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Ted Bundy yes!!! St Elmo’s Fire... They eventually did do a tribute to him... It’s on one of the videos when the viewers made the videos from their hometown... 🙂
I've been extremely impressed with this channel for a long time. If your planning on traveling east; cities like Philadelphia, valley forge, and other areas in the tri-state has a ton of historical figures. You could probably make an entire channel on that alone.
I have to say my dear friend that your research is second to none! We down here in sleepy old Geelong do so very much enjoy your channel!! At first I thought really gravesites on the tv? However you’ve made it so it’s very much enjoyable & one learns something that one didn’t know!! ABOUT THE “HILL”! There’s one of hills near us whereby you would swear seeing it from the driver p.o.v. it seems that you’ll roll up yet you roll down!! Some say it’s a magnetic force yet I kind of think as with yours that it’s an illusion of the eyes!! Either way it’s a great conversation starter!! Keep up your great work Mr. Dark!!!! Ewan & Vesna
You are the Greatest!! You should one day go to Ferncliff Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hartsdale New York, there’s so many Stars there like Basil Rathbone,Alijah,Ed Sullivan,Joan Crawford, and so many more,it would be great if one day you could go there.
Omg....he's back...yes...yes...yes....I love your videos. ..and I love you....your voice soothes my soul.....if ever in clarksville tennessee. ...look me up....
A big thank you for taking your time telling us who remember the people that weren't as famous but some I remember as a child watching black & white films. I watched more of people that were just forgotten but people like me appreciate them and actually remember them. What a treat like Froggy from Our Gang someone I remember and the person that played another part that was killed in a bar room fight which led him dead at such a young age.
Really enjoy your videos! The cemeteries are beautiful & getting to see the celebrity graves is a great honor! Most of them I grew up watching in the movies or on TV . The ones I didn't get to see on the Silver Screen, my mother would tell me about...especially those from the Silent era! Thank you for your wonderful/entertaining/educational films! Can't wait to see more!
Dude, I totally love your tours! You remember everyone from all aspects of the entertainment industry. I truly am so glad you remember the silent film stars and provide info on what movies they did, who they played, all the details. I am truly a huge fan of yours. It gets old for me to say your selections are the very best, but they are. The music is soooooo haunting and effective. Golly I have never even heard of this cemetery before! You hit it out of the park again.
So awesome Arthur thank you for sharing Thuy's story as well. I think people who did not follow MMPR have forgotten about her.
Oh WOW! Love this tour. Another fantastic work of Art. Pun intended! Fun ending.
This is very interesting, especially the forgotten actors of a bygone era. Once the biggest starts of there time are barely remembered or forgotten, I wonder if it will be the same 100 years from now when our present actors are long gone.
Love your videos. Thank you. Sue from Northumberland England xx
Looking at Gravity Hill, I think that it’s an optical illusion but can also sense that it’s haunted! 👻 Ellen Beach Yaw’s voice is incredible! Leaving these flowers here for her and all the departed 💐
Great video it keep it up rip Eazy-E
Jesus Rojas They forgot to mention that he’s got a son who took after him musically, Eric Wright Jr.
Jesus Rojas I Remember, In My Younger Years, Forever Wishing To Meet Eazy E. A Brilliant Man Who Was Taken Way Too Soon. What A Pioneer. R.I.PARADISE Eric Wright 💙
Rip to a legend
Yes RIP EAZY E
Sena Campbell yep he’s my friend
I always look forward to these dropping into my ‘in box’, they are not only entertaining but also very informative, I really appreciate the hard work, research and narration that goes into every one of these. Thanks from the UK
If Eeasy E had been diagnosed today he would be alive today. Back then it was hit and miss back then.
He was injected with it.

As always, beautifully shot and edited, not to mention all the time you must spend researching these famous people. Truly appreciate it.
It was beautiful there I wish you would make longer video's :)
You make this cemetery a nice place to be in the day and night
Wow !! I just finish watching the movie Death at a Funeral I'm thinking Ron Glass last work and then came down and turn on this..
I am hooked on these videos.. these are amazing, fascinating and entertaining
OMG. I didn't know the Asian girl that played the yellow ranger of the Power Rangers died. That's terrible.
yes did in car accident it was bad one to I remember like it was yesterday
@@mikeandmars2345 oh, ok. Yeah, cause that's all they kept talking about was the attack. Wow. Thank you for that. She was my favorite ranger too.
I remember hearing about it on the news the day it happened. A little piece of my childhood died that day
mikeandmars2345 she died before that
@@mikeandmars2345 she died on Sept 3rd........
LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!! You deserve to be sent around the world doing this!
Well done Arthur, good to see your subscription keep rising,
You deserve it,
Loved every one of your videos
I love this video of Hollywood graves of the movie stars thanks Vickie bell
I so look forward to these videos. They are always informative and done impeccably well. Thank you so much for including Louis Johnson from the Brothers Johnson in this video.
Sad to see how some of the actors and actresses from old Hollywood and the silent era are seemingly forgotten good to see someone remembering them and with a lot of info as well ❤️
Your videos are the best . Very well put together and Entertaining as well. Thank you.
Thanks for the upload and once again it was brilliant.
Nikki Dawkins is a
I loved him! My childhood as well as my favorite movies of all time are by him.
You deserve way more views man
Ellen Yaw...Now THAT was a set of pipes, Thank you so very much Mr. Dark for finding that recording.
Love these! I just visited metropolis, IL a few months ago, its super cool!
Keep up your great work
Mr. Dark!!!!
Ewan & Vesna
Geelong?! I'm about an hour away from you!
Thank you for sharing yet another beautiful video!💜💜💜
Wow, we have that too in Florida... called Spook Hill in Lake Wales. Went there often when I was a kid. It's a great illusion, and really cool to see.
I've been following this channel since the beginning and I can honestly say I'm never disappointed. Great content always! Thank you!
I think its the shape of the hills around the road causing the illusion. Thanks for the upload.
I'd want to get out there with a level and a plumb bob and see what's what.
Rebecca Putman as I said the rolling the car is DEBUNKED! So don't waste your time and energy for nothing.
Just you sayin' so over and over doesn't make it so. Provide your evidence and we'll talk. Me? I'd rather Science.
@@llantup These are all over the nation and they are a fun novelty. Definitely find one a try it!
Dead people love him and they don't want him to go away.
Can't wait to see more!
i love ur videos so much i look forward to them every month
Love this show! Great job! very interesting!
#RestInParadise Eazy E& Ron Glass🌹🌻💞
Very good video. Your voice is cool for narration. 👍👍👍👍👍
Really enjoy your tours. It’s a trip down memory lane hearing about some of the celebrities I grew up watching.
Another superbly shot and curated posting, Mr Dark ❤️👌🏽😃
Dude, I totally love your tours! You remember everyone from all aspects of the entertainment industry. I truly am so glad you remember the silent film stars and provide info on what movies they did, who they played, all the details. I am truly a huge fan of yours. You really do your research, your commentary is so well written, your filming talent is first rate. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
As usual professionally and respectfully done brother, look forward to every video outstanding..

Your videos are incredible, And your telling of the history is even better.
