Because I have loved so deeply
Because I have loved so long
God, in his great compassion
Gave me the gift of song!

That you for posting his poem. Lovely
How beautiful.
Beautiful ❤️
James Dean, died almost to the day, 20 years before I was born. I have been collecting memorabilia since I was 12.. I was also named after Katharine Hepburn .. So this one, made my day.
Thank you for uploading. Much love from Australia. 🖤🥰👍🙏
It was absolutely genius of you to suggest that viewers go out and find a grave sites of famous and notable celebrities in order for you to assemble these videos for people to see. No one person would ever be able to go and see the sights of these graveyard cemeteries and Mausoleums to see some of their favorite actors, sports figures, musicians, and others. Which is why your videos are the very best there is on RUclips. Keep up the good work. I hope you have many more videos to show us. And we thank you for your hard work. It is much appreciated. You give us all something in our lifetime we would never be able to see on our own.
Well spoken, agreed. And besides that no one person would be able to see the sights of all these.... no one person (even with the internet) would know of and where all these are -- Whereas certain local people will know... e.g., ' Oh yeah, Peter Lorre is buried in NH (of all places)'
My parents crypts are right next to Oleg Cassini. Very odd, but sweet to see my mom and dads final resting place in one of your videos. I saw my dads A for Angelo. Thank you to Sean and Dave. My dad passed in 2016, my mom in 2002 💕 We always say hello to Mr. Cassini when we visit mom and dad. Funny to see the camera roll down and around that corner to Good Shepherd Corridor, in which I’ve made many solemn walks to 🙏🏻❤️
Angelo m. Cafobianco? Sorry if writed wrong, i slow it down to see the names. What we leave in this world is our vessels, but WE live forever in the heart of our loved ones. Remind the moments you spent with them close to your heart my friend and you will feel their presence 😇
It's quite something when you know someone is buried in the same cemetery as a "celebrity". I always wait for the reaction when I tell people that my parents are buried in the same cemetery as John Dillinger. That usually gets a conversation started.
Number one: That's cool! Number 2: Sorry for your loss.
First my love and hugs are with u and ur family. 💗 second that is pretty cool that they are next to 0leg .

I'm constantly amazed at how so many big stars have such simple graves & markers.
RogerClyne IsAGod yes in sharp contrast to some who literally have shrines...
Exactly, Ellen.
RogerClyne IsAGod ~ I Agree, Sir!!
Yes. I thought that also.
I guess at the end, we just want to go home, huh? 😔
You have a great voice for narration. The music is perfect. You're on to something that is self-perpetuating. Celebrities will always be passing away. There are some others who try to do graveyard tours, but you are head and shoulders above them. Keep up the great work.
Awesome narration scripts as well. Author Dark is absolutely one of the best You Tubers of any genre
Yes, I love his voice, it's crystal clear unlike the others. And i am hard of hearing.
I definitely agree to that comment
Agreed.

Why would anybody thumbs this down?? This series is one of the best on youtube. It is so well done and so respectful and informative. This is better than most broadcast television productions. Keep up the excellent work.
I agree, most of the other channels about this subejct tend to be disrespectful by adding scary music or making it feel uncomfortable. This guy and his fans dont do that.
In my opinion, the best on You Tube. A history lesson in every video.
@@Mrgop I know! Isn't it cool?
@@Jamesamong007 Plus, he'll add comments about the buildings and show great shots of amazing architecture.
Some people are never happy or pleased.
Rest in peace james dean. It was so devastating to his life at the age of 24. He will always be remembered

Wow, litterally I was just turning the TV off to go to bed & got this video notification so have had to put it back on. Haha. 35 minutes? Sweeeeet. 👍😊 ❤
Carl Rees television invented by the British by the way, John logie Baird.
Met Gilda Radner and Gene Wilder when they were first dating each other. Gilda was as sweet as could be to me. I cherish my photos with both of them.
Wow
I didn't know Ross for his phrases😂 I knew him as the chill white man with an afro...that could paint the world with DABS on a canvas😂..real talk...he helped me get my art scholarship

My husband has only just learned about Bob Ross now watches and record's his shows every night on BBC 4 in the UK. He is in awe of him. Such a gentle ,calming voice and fantastic artist.
Crazy to think of these peoples lives, trials, and errors to get to their success with the end just being a headstone in some grass.
I personally would like to thank EVERYONE who submitted videos! They were fabbertastic!
Yes, a Big thank you to all that contributed.
I often like to think that in the afterlife Big Bopper, Buddy and Ritchie all gave Waylon a hug and told him it wasnt his fault.
Add in Tommy Allsup too since he gave up his seat to Richie Valens. I'm sure they're all jamming together now.
Yeah, that's a nice thought. Poor Waylon, it hurt him so deeply for so long but it really wasn't his fault.
Waylon carried that guilt for a long time but he finally got passed it no doubt the guys gave him that hug. I miss Waylon
@wayne pitty Well it's 2019 my friend, time to understand there is no heaven or hell.
Yes, but guilt can eat you alive. My guess is that Waylon Jennings probably turned to drinking and drugs to cope with it. Drinking long term can disable a lot of the pancreas. No wonder he had diabetes.
A brilliant songwriter and musician, how much more could he have contributed to the the world sober?
Leaves one to wonder.
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I got a lot of family in woodland cemetery including my dad.
It says a lot about Sam Walton's children that his grave is in such poor condition.
Love Bruce and Brandon Lee both gone to soon so young legends and icons. 🙏😭
💯💯
My wife and I were honeymooning to Canada when we stopped in Seattle and found their gravesite. It was surreal
I feel the same way. When you think of action movie stars, these guys are at the top of the list.Rest in peace, Bruce and Brandon.
In case you forgotten it was March 31st the day that Bruce Lee son passed away it's been 27 years since he passed away you know I hope nobody never forget the day I know it's kind of creepy to think about the day he died but we all have to say a prayer for his son Air Force father for you know for bringing martial arts and action films to the Forefront
Brandon Lee was a was a nice and wall respected person to his fans always taking time to talk to his fans and never shuns them he's always nice and well respectable to his fans I think about that every day the way it happened the way he died I just hope Hollywood start being more responsible for when they make movies action-packed movies and take precautions while filming and making movies so something like this will never ever happen again
Great video once again Arthur! Keep up the great work. It was cool to see Bob Ross' grave. Can't wait to see the next video.
Thanks for finding Gilda Radner. I loved her spirit, humor and courage. The day she died, I had never felt sadness for the death of a famous celebrity before. The movie "Love, Gilda" is a must watch for all of her fans.
Seeing her grave just now brought tears to my eyes. Still loved, always missed.
That poem I memorized when I was 13 years old...I'm now 49, I've always loved it. And I live in Dayton Ohio
Loved Gilda Radner!!!
Maybe a stupid question but why isn’t Gene Wilder buried near her?
@@nikkifernandez9913 I am from Dayton too!
Really enjoyed it so far. The Jimi Hendrix grave site is awesome! Also. James Dean and Chris Farley is cool. Thanks, Mr. Dark. You never let us down.
Katharine Hepburn is one of my favorite actresses of all time. She didn’t want a funeral or memorial which I wasn’t surprised considering she didn’t really like the frills. And here’s a well known fact about THE PHILADELPHIA STORY. Howard Hughes gave her the money to buy the movie rights for the play giving her the comeback she needed after being box office poison
I live in Connecticut and Kathryn Hepburn’s grave is in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Sophie Tucker is buried in Emanuel Cemetery in Wethersfield. True legends.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought Joan Crawford was labeled “Box Office Poison”?
@@Donnaploss Crawford and Kate were both labeled box office poison. Other stars were labeled also.
@@alpe1987 oh wow, I didn’t know that! Thanks!
"They do not diminish, nor do they wither. But, in the moment in which they shine brightest are in an instant cut off from us. And we are left with an image of that brightness burned into our minds forever."
I LOVE this quote. 😊 Thank you for these videos.
Sincerely,
A fan
Reina73452 that is beautiful
An interesting side note, Agnes Moorhead was a devout catholic who read her bible between takes. She refused to do any 'witchcraft' that might endanger her soul. While some may laugh at that, as a pagan, I can very much respect her wishes. I hope she did go to heavan.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only son. John 3:16-18
I find these absolutely fascinating and sad and amazing that these high ranking famous have pretty ordinary simple graves..
I absolutely love watching these Graveyard videos and think it was such a great idea to make them! I would think the people featured would be proud to be remembered and honored even after they are gone. The videos also help remind me that life does not go on forever so we better live our days that are so precious and numbered.
Katharine Hepburn ! I can't thank you enough for showing her grave. My favorite actress and idol since I was a kid. ... Also wonderful to see Gilda Radner's resting place. Both strong, amazing women.
My favorite youtuber ever!! I watch your videos everyday!! I love you 🥰🥰😍😍

It's amazing to me that Bill Alexander's and Bob Ross's methods of teaching how to enjoy painting could be so disparate, yet both be so iconic and inspiring: Bob's laid-back, almost hippie-like Zen approach, contrasted against Bill's loud, bombastic, almost angry approach that sometimes gave the impression that the painting was being ripped from his very soul. I distinctly remember one episode where Bill sat for a portrait painted by Bob. The yin and the yang of painting. And now Bob is immortalized as...a friggin' Chia Pet...
In 1859, a 23-year-old Missouri youth named Samuel Langhorne Clemens received his steamboat pilot’s license.
Not an easy thing to do.
Working in shallow water on a meandering river which would silt up unpredictably, depths were take frequently with a lead weight on a string with knots every six feet.
The guy on the front of the boat 'swinging the lead' would shout out the depth.
If it was twelve feet he would shout 'Mark Twain' , a safe depth for a flat bottomed gin joint, gambling den and whorehouse.
My all time favorite is Bruce Lee (I have several of his movies) and also his son Brandon Lee(which I also have some of his movies and the crow)
Love both father and son.
I still have The Crow VHS. I think it had his very last interview before his death. I loved his acting.
Hot damn! I just ran out of today's releases from the other RUclipsrs I watch. 😀
Not even from Europe, i don't even watch movies talkless of knowing single actor/star. But I'm becoming so addicted to Hollywood graveyard. Your remarkable explanation makes me feels like i already know them all.
Job well done.

This my friend, is just part of why I am a fan of this channel. Outstanding work to those who provided excellent coverage and footage. Keep on living!
Brandon Lee's headstone is unusual, and striking.
I love the viewer contributions! It's such a great way to expand the vision of the great Arthur Dark!
I love how you include famous people who were behind be scenes or lived before our time and not well known today. It’s a nod to their special contributions to make the world a little better.
So glad Arthur liked our stuff and we made the cut in this one! Thanks to everyone who contributed! This was a great episode!
Great Job!

This viewers special series is turning out to be amazing! Great job to you and all who sent in these videos
RIP Katherine Hepburn and James Dean💫
Every single video from this series NEVER disappoints...well done!
John Hughes films were a big part of my life growing up. Thank you for the submission 🙏. Also, Harold Ramis. One of my favs of his was “Stripes”.
callmelyn73 What is really interesting is that John Hughes and Harold Ramis are buried less than 30 miles from each other!!
So happy to see that Silent Film Star John Bunny was acknowledged. I could be wrong, but I believe he was the first film star to die that resulted in a wave of grief and sadness to people who loved movies - yet he is almost entirely unknown by today's audiences.
the Ross find is a real treat
Such brilliant work from all involved. Thank you for your hard work 👏👏👏👏👏
U cute
Great job, but can you slow down the screen print? It wizzes by so fast it’s hard to read! Thanks for great videos
Wonderful video! RIP Gilda. Also... happy to know that Chris Farley didn't end up in a "van down by the river." RIP Chris.
Awesome job again everyone! Thanks to all who contributed & of course, Mr Arthur Dark & his team! Bravo!!! 💙💙💙👍👍👍🙋🙋🙋
I love these videos. Living in England I’m unlikely to visit any of these graves but it gives me a chance to pay my respects to the greats by watching these. So thank you very much. Oh by the way, I work in a cemetery so it’s a subject close to my heart. ❤️
I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest child, I thought for sure I was having a girl, I planned on naming my baby Katharine after Katharine Hepburn. I would look at my sonograms and say, "hi baby Kate." Well, I ended up having a beautiful 8 pound 3 ounce baby boy. We named him Liam and he's 15 now.
Congrats on your baby boy. For a minute I thought that you named him Kate! lol
I love funeral art. Some tombs are truly works of art.
Every year you guys should allow viewer submissions. It’s been an enjoyable series.
Actually, every actor or actress or famous person gets my attention on this video and I absolutely enjoy them, I will look forward to the next!!!
Paul Lynde was also the voice over for the hooded claw {villain} in the cartoon Penelope pit stop just to throw that in there
Excellent! I love the tours and these tours done by the viewers are well narrated by Mr. Dark.
I found Chris Farley's story to be so sad.
Thank you, one and all. I look forward to the next episode.
Another masterpiece keep up the great work
Except claiming America invented the TV which is wrong. I will enlighten you it was a British fact.
I was really surprised that some of the people that were mentioned here I thought were still living. I got a real education!
Thank you for making this video I didn't know Bob Ross was dead I used to love watching him paint on television

Thank you!! These videos are so cool! I would have gone to DC to film some footage if I had known the deadline. My fault lol.
I love the theme of Bewitched thru out the show! Also Sam Walton should have a larger grave as he is most definitely turning over in it constantly with what his family has done to his company
Thanks contributing viewers!!!
Always looking forward to new Hollywood Graveyard!!!( 4ever a subscriber)

Sam Walton obviously did not have a big ego. Richest man in America and has a standard tombstone in a basic plot.
I agree. I was expecting to see a huge one like Jimi Hendrix
He was very modest. There is a museum there telling his story. He drove an old truck visiting stores and if he flew he flew himself because it was cheaper. He really considered himself as someone who was helping people live better by offering better priced products with great customer service. His memorial marker is very fitting for who he was.
He'd be turning in his grave seeing what's happened to his business today.
@@RhettyforHistory I don't think his children inherited his modesty.

I don’t really like Wal-Mart, but getting to see the grave of the company’s founder on tape was a nice touch.
I have to visit Bruce Lee's grave in Seattle. Hoping this year.
It's easy to find once you enter the cemetery.

I'm thinking the people selecting the thumbs down are really JEALOUS....
I live in Indiana and went to see the grave of James Dean years ago and I am not sure what number headstone was there but it has been replaced several times due to visitors chipping out a piece to take with them. When I was there, there was only a little bit chipped out cause it had been replaced recently. In the same town is also a museum type place for Jim Davis, the Garfield creator cause he is from there as well. I live close to the grave of Shannon Hoon and wish I had been able to go video his grave for this channel.

Best one yet! 35 minutes of nonstop greatness in so many fields across the board. Keep up the excellent work!
Two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽 for all the hidden gems. So many unassuming sites throughout the Midwest.
I didn't know Paul Graf had passed away :-(
I wish I had a good enough camera to film when they were taking videos. There’s a lot of famous graves by me in northeast Ohio. Ryan Dunn, Chef Boyardee, James Garfield, Benjamin Orr, etc.
I remember meeting Harold Ramis at a party in Chicago, in the 1960's, with others from Second City Comedy Club. Not a big deal on its own, for sure. Until my 5 year old grandson fell in love with the Ghostbuster movies, which I had never seen. He was always imitating Egon his favorite character in the movie. I told him I had actually met and talked to Egon (Harold Ramis). I explained that the actor who played Egon was no longer alive. My grandson could not understand that bit of news, as he could still see him in the movie. I think I might have scarred him for life. So sorry I did that.
You meant well. I'm sure he still loves you.
The day Harold Ramis died I was shocked. I don't know why. Talented actor and producer.
Agnes Moorehead was also in Twilight Zone
