Should point out that there is some uncertainty about Winifred Atwell's actual birth year... hence the age discrepancy. And quick fix: the cemetery where Corey Haim is buried is "Pardes" Shalom, not "Padres" Shalom. Thanks to you viewers for keeping us honest!

I met Miguel Ferrer back in the 90's when I was showing English Bull Terriers. My friend had some puppies for sale and he had bought one. When he came to pick up his puppy, he saw my friend's extensive VHS movie collection and checked to see if she had any of his movies. When he pointed out Robocop that's when it dawned on us who he was. Sweetest. Man. Ever! I miss his voice. Requiescat in pace, amigo me, et gratias.

I was at Michael Hutchence's last performance. When he died two week's later, I was wrecked and yet honored that I was able to see him. RIP

I visited Jim's grave in 2010--first thing I did on my first trip to Paris. Pere LaChaise is a fascinating cemetery. I hope Arthur gets to visit himself one of these days. Montmartre also has a fine cemetery.
Should have done it along time ago, that’s why they don’t let anybody but the family visit MJ’s grave, keeps the rift raffs out.

I went in 2005, can't remember if it was blocked off already or not.
I met Miguel Ferrer on a movie set in Spokane, WA. I had provided a couple of cars for the movie and he wanted to meet me. He had an interesting story about a car similar while he was in High School. Seemed like a Really nice guy and it was fun to talk to him. He was what you would call a "Working actor" not some Big Time Movie Star. Which in my opinion means he was a working stiff like the rest of us--but a interesting job! lol
He is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated actors ever.

His father was the movie actor big in the late 40's to 60's Josie Ferrer. Mother was Rosemary Clooney---George Clooney's aunt. not sure about Mel.
Wow...Love the memorial in Australia for Michael Hutchence. That one still hurts me even over 20 years later! INXS was and is one of my most favorite 80's bands!!! Thankfully I was able to see them several times live in concert...he was one AMAZING performer!!! ❤RIP DEAR MICHAEL❤

Thanks for the footage of Jose Ferrer's grave. He was astounding as Cyrano. He truly earned the Oscar for that film. If anyone hasn't seen the film, you must. You cannot consider your life fully lived until you do. I'm a 61 year old man who's done a lot of living, but I still get teary watching it.
I love those German graves that have plants & flowers planted on them. Puerto Rico's graves are pretty cool too, such great statues.

I live down the road from Hollywood Forever Cemetery. I think I'll take a walk and spend some time there during this pandemic lockdown.
I was a big AC/DC fan back in my youth, especially the Bon Scott era. And, my sister was a big INXS fan back in the '80's.

@@Yecart8377 Americans think of Oz as small.And having many friends there all over the country there I know it can be difficult to get around. I tell everyone if I ever get to visit I'll have to stay at least a month to be able to see everyone.

I loved the Puerto Rico cemeteries! In my opinion the best movie of the two Corey's was Licensed to Drive. Love all the musicians featured!

Thank you to whoever filmed the Buxeda Memorial Park in Puerto Rico! A few years ago, my family and I took a van tour in Puerto Rico and I remembered the tour guide mentioning the actor who played Gomez Addams being buried in that cemetery. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to explore the cemetery. Now this video makes up for that!

When you said Jim Morrison, I screamed. Both me and my father 💗 The Doors! I've been listening to The Doors ever since I was 2, even though I also listened to 2 other famous bands since I was 2, and my favorite song from The Doors is "Riders on the Storm!"

Needless to say this is a great channel and it was great to have found these Viewers Specials. So surprisingly good to have found out that José Ferrer was Miguel Ferrer’s father. When I saw the Dune note with Kyle MacLachlan on the movie poster I immediately thought that we was also in Twin Peaks, how lucky to have worked with 2 great actors.
On the other hand, my first memory of Raul Julia was his role as Franco in Gumball Rally (1975) but my favorite movie of his is Romero (1989) where he did an amazing job as Archbishop Oscar Romero.
Can’t wait to see the other videos of the series. Thank you Arthur.

Another great addition , it seems like these could go on for a long time . Seeing my native Puerto Rico was a treat I’m going next week and will visit the Ferrer grave who I’ve seen from a distance not even knowing it was his. The famous castle El Morro is right next door to the cemetery.

Another fantastic voyage. So pleased to hear there are more viewer's films to come. Really value the backgrounds and film clips, especially when the person isn't too familiar. Some others do grave tours but don't provide the commentaries which makes your tours so fascinating. Fabulous!!
I was surprised no one sent in Heath Ledger’s grave in Western Australia. Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth, AU. Maybe it will be in one of the other parts of the series? I hope so.

I didn't know that Miguel Ferrer died until like 2018 - and I only learned that because I was randomly googling around who starred in Crossing Jordan - when I learned that he died I was so sad, screw cancer - he was such a great actor in that show :(

Just to clarify: at 4:48, the name of the cemetery where Corey Haim is buried is not "Padre Shalom," it's *Pardes* Shalom Cemetery, which means "Peace Garden Cemetery" in Biblical Hebrew. In case anyone who doesn't read Hebrew is wondering, his Hebrew name written on the marker is Yehezkel Yehudah or "Ezekiel Judah" in its Anglicized form.

I also love the Doors’ “People Are Strange.” I had forgotten that there was a bust of Jim Morrison on his grave at one point. I did know that the grave had to be fenced off due to vandalism. I’ve always wondered why anyone would want to vandalize (desecrate) someone’s final resting place.

I LOVE these videos. I think it would be a cool video idea to visit the graves of infamous people, and tell what they are infamous for. That kind of stuff is interesting to me 😊
Sidney Myer, if we had more employers like him the world would a be better place to live in. He’s the only one that I’ve ever heard of giving up some of his income to keep his employees. In this day in age it is unheard of any CEO’s ect giving up a portion of there incomes to keep employees sadly it’s the complete opposite with layoffs in the thousands.

You know what's Ironic....Corey Haim played in The Lost Boys movie and the song "People Are Strange" was in the beginning of the movie but it wasn't by The Doors (it was a cover track).
But do you see how odd it is that Jim Morrison AND Corey Haim are weirdly connected in that way AND they are both in this tribute video.
