I pulled up RUclips to find something to listen to whilst cleaning out my desk on this dead day at the parlor. I was ecstatic to see this video pop up. Fun fact: my sis helped direct Rick James funeral. Another fun fact. I happened to be directing a funeral the same day as Nate Dogg's funeral took place in Long Beach. As I was driving the procession back for burial, a woman sped out of a neighborhood, cut right through the procession and got right up to my hearse to peer in. My only guess what that she thought I had Nate Dogg. Nope, but I did work at the cemetery across the street from that Forest Lawn, and later that day got caught up in the security hoopla running around for work. I hope you do another one of these series, and that when you do I have time to participate. This was such a joy to see.
I’ve JUST discovered this, the other day, and I’m absolutely binging on these fascinating videos of yours. Your research is remarkable, and as my husband said when I played him one of these, your voice and tone are very pleasant to listen to. Plus, I think your camera guy does a GREAT job - these are filmed and edited really well. Unless you’re your own camera guy, and if yeah, good on ya’! I’ve always been interested in graveyards - I’m of the mind that they aren’t creepy or spooky but, they’re there for us to be able to remember the existences of those inhabiting them, famous or not - those who came before us shouldn’t just disappear into the netherworlds of history but, rather should be recognized and acknowledged, even just for a moment. Everyone’s existence means something. However, I’m 60 and most people my age are more of the thought that graveyards should be avoided except to visit those people they know. So, though I’m in ABSOLUTELY NO HURRY to move into one any time soon, I’m glad to see there are others who share my interest and thankfully post it on the Interwebs. Thanks so much for this enormously interesting and informative channel! Plus, about a week or so back, I got to prowl around the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA - man, that was cool!
I got to see Lucy and desi at their home they were both so friendly I am 74 years old and I live right next to their home that they lived in while they aired I love Lucy
It still surprises me to see the simple headstones and resting places of some of the most famous (and often, wealthy) people of the 20th & 21st century. For example, Walter Huston's grave. Audie Murphy's grave in Arlington is also very simple. And while Charles Shultz has a bench, his headstone is the same as my veteran husband's headstone in a small Michigan cemetery.
I am a USAF brat and spent time in the early 70s in Japan. I used to listen to the Far East Network with my transistor radio under my pillow each week night, listening to old radio shows. I LOVED MY FAVORITE HUSBAND, it was my favorite. I am one of the few people of my age who actually heard the radio show before I ever saw I LOVE LUCY.
Thank you for allowing viewers to participate on your channel. Every video, all the audio, everything about Hollywood Graveyard speaks to class and reverence for those who have passed before us. Hopefully we will see more viewer submissions in the future.
Several years ago my mom and I spent a mother/daughter weekend at the birthday celebration festival.. We enjoyed it so much we spent an extra day!!!! So many activities to enjoy. Enjoyed meeting several friends of Lucy & Desi. Diane Vincent and Rhonda Medina are excellent impersonators of Lucy and Ethel. Also met and talked with the late Robert Osborne. Such a handsome and personable man and great friend of Lucy's. Also authors, friends and other Lucy fans. I hope to go back someday. I have wonderful memories of our journey to Jamestown.
Nothing says that the famous and rich are touchable, human & just like us then death itself. 😢😭 May they all be at peace now & may they always live as legends in our hearts, memories & within each new year. Forever may they never be forgotten & may their struggles & lifes lessons always be taught to help & guide the rising stars.

Excellent job to everyone who contributed!
Thank you Mr. Asa Candler I can never express my eternal gratitude to you.
Many thanks to the viewers who kept us entertained for the 6 Specials.Hope we can do this again someday
This is absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for putting this together. RIP to all the amazing people.....❤️❤️❤️❤️
U cute
Lucille Ball, the mother of Star Trek. (Desilu)
I found the desert graveyard strangely beautiful, not what you usually think a cemetery looks like
Great job everyone! This has been a great series! Especially seeing ones over seas! Hope this gets revisited some time!
Thank you for allowing viewers to participate on your channel. Every video, all the audio, everything about Hollywood Graveyard speaks to class and reverence for those who have passed before us. Hopefully we will see more viewer submissions in the future.
So wanna visit Lucille Balls grave!! She's my favorite actress of all time!! I ❤️ Lucy was never just a title❤️
TLA I completely agree! Her shows AND movies were comic genius!
i love filming séries chocolat factory food funny 😂😂😂
May they all be at peace now & may they always live as legends in our hearts, memories & within each new year.
Forever may they never be forgotten & may their struggles & lifes lessons always be taught to help & guide the rising stars.
I loved this entire series of videos. Everyone did an awesome job. My favorites are the ones from Indiana (I'm from Indiana) and didn't realize we had so many celebrities buried here. Mr. Dark keep up the awesome work and informative backgrounds of the stars we visit. Much love from me in Indiana
I have to leave you a comment and let you know that in my opinion this is the best of ALL cemetery tours I’ve watched many and must say Hollywood graveyard is the BEST
Bless you mr. Candler I don't know what I'd do without coke i mean beside be skinny.
Happy Heavenly Birthday Miss Moore 🎂
Truly fascinating, I have learned so much. Hopefully there will be more in the future. It's kind of sad to see this series come to an end.
The Jesse Owens tribute got me in the feels. What a legend he is!

@Darrell Knox Two deputy's in a small Tennessee town went to a funeral home to arrest a dead man ,the judge ordered him arrested six months before it had something to do with a million dollars worth of property so the deputy's were told they couldn't take the body but could read the warrant to the deceased which they did,
@Darrell Knox I got one following me here on RUclips CALLS HIMSELF badass OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THEY SET HIM OUT ON ANOTHER SOCIAL SITE SO HE COMES ON RUclips TRYING TO FOOL PEOPLE AND REPORTING BACK TO GOOGLE

I met Richard Kiel a few years ago. He was a large man, I shook his hand (I have large hands) and my hand looked like a child's next to his. He was very nice.
Aww
The Jesse Owens story touched my 💜❤💓💓💓💓
What a wonderful voice!!
Great series. My grandparents are just a few rows from the Thelma Todd family plot in Bellevue Cemetery, in Lawrence, MA.
I'm actually related to Lizzie Borden through my Great great great Aunt Irene, who was a cousin of Lizzie's.
From some of the things I watched about her father I kind of wonder about him I hear he was very cruel to the girls
That is wild
Ruth Egnor (Dagmar) is a relative. I was glad to see her included. Great job everyone!
In my hometown of Huntington, WV.
I always get a kick when I hear " I Love Lucy " because my girlfriend who immigrated from China said she perfected her English from watching old episodes of " I Love Lucy". LOL 😆
Thank you, Arthur for doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work!
