  • This is a single observation I had while preparing to send my laptop to repair yet again. Today early morning, I prepped this 64GB pen drive empty by moving everything it had to our still old Core 2 duo Windows 7 Ultimate desktop PC. And I was delighted to see this beaten up computer dealing with the pen drive with zero interruptions.
Well, I am too much of a nerd to play with system settings and I was exploring what each "Safe Modes" are capable of offering. Only safe mode (with nothing else) worked. Then I tried Safe Mode with Networking to see if some hidden CrowdStrike driver would be shown or not. But instead, its SSD betrayed me with a deserted Recovery Environment that kept revealing that it doesn't know a C: partition ever existed.
