Maserati is on a fast track to becoming an all-electric brand by 2050, with battery-powered models now a feature of every new model line.
We were mightily impressed with the Italian sports-luxury marque’s first effort, the GranTurismo Folgore, and now there’s a lot riding on the EV version of the Maserati Grecale - not least because the electric mid-size sports-luxury SUV will be a volume seller for the brand.
It’s lining up against the incoming Porsche Macan Turbo EV and Audi SQ 6 e-tron, to name just two major rivals, and looks the goods on paper with strong dual-motor performance, 500km-plus range, sharp-suited looks and a classy cabin.
But as John Mahoney found at the international launch, the Grecale Folgore doesn’t hit all the targets we might have expected from Maserati.

I don't know how someone that hold a steering wheel so poorly could judge how a car rides or perform. Not even a clue of basic driving skills. This is journalism today and people without any competence are able to release cars review. WORNG information again for what is concerning the PRICE. The Macan Turbo (yes, they still call it like that even though is electric) cost the same with WAY less options. Just to give you and example the Macan Turbo BEV does NOT come standard with heated seat. Are you freaking kidding me?
