Great review man. My friend just upgraded to this from the Stelvio and I drove it last night. Very impressive. She had a Giulia before that and is the reason I have a Giulia now.
I just keep enjoying your reviews Matt. Open, honest and always comparing each car against peers. You detail the pros and cons, but always leave it up to us to decide if it's..... #TheRightCar
A beautiful car that would be lovely to own for driving experience and comfort. I have a small (ancient) history with Italian cars, that back then, were temperamental and very expensive to repair. This car seems very well engineered and built. But a three year warranty would, apart from the price, discourage me. Maybe, if I travel to Italy again, I could hire one for the driving experience. Thanks for an informative and excellent review.

The only issue I found during my test drive the 2023 Modena version is under hard acceleration the front end lifts up and render steering vague and almost uncontrollable, maybe it tye 21” all season tires . o so almost trade my 2016 Cayenne turbo but bailed out , hope the 2024 is different
Some of the ergonomic/infotainment and button choices show its Stellantis origins, which means a lot of potential buyers will shy away and buy the germans instead...
I love that the electric door handle has a back up as they, in classic Italian style, know that the electrical system is due to disintegrate upon the warranty lapsing.
All i can see with the grill is the Honda Zrv lol. Apart from that, while the trunk is big it could be much bigger for the size, also why is there no spare? Its a mild hybrid, not a full hybrid. The interior is alot of form over function, but its a luxury Italian car so youve kind of singed up for that. That third screen is a issue though, it takes away most of your headlight controls(first ive seen nonsense like that) and because of the angle, easy to bump on the go. I do like that digital clock its got a crisp display and alot of features(side note if anyone has a Vitara you can get a digital clock that can do some of that stuff). The car seems to be a good drive, a bit too good but at least the mild hybrid is doing its job on that front. All in all if you can afford this car alot of my concerns are irrelevant.
Thanks. My crystal ball is permanently out of order so I don’t think I’ll be included a prediction about reliability. I will call out if brands have known issues with that.
@@therightcar i’ve had this car since April 1 day I had it home in the garage it broke down it wouldn’t start and they told me there was a recall on it if the key fob was within 75 feet of the car that was the first tow out of three tows. I went to Tampa Florida to go to a concert with my girlfriend 16-year-old daughter and we come out the next morning and the car won’t start of course don’t know how to jump it’s there’s a battery in the front & the back a had to tow & sat in the dealership for five hours. There were 6 recalls on it. I went to push the button to put it into drive and the whole panel has caved in. It just seems like time and time again there’s a problem I got in the car to use it two days ago, and all it keeps telling me is that the tires are all flat, I think the PSI should be 34 or 35 and it’s hitting 34 or 35 and all the dummy lights are coming on telling me the tires are low for what I spent for this car. It’s been one headache after another I can’t even trust to drive it long distance, it was a second vehicle for me and I researched cars for over a year saved my money to get this car and nobody will help me with it. It’s the biggest disappointment purchase I’ve ever purchased in my life.
You need to understand, there are people in this world that would buy this as a first car for their children to learn to drive in. They have that much money that $120,000 is just a lunch !
I have a Grecale Modena, loaded up with pretty much all of the Trofeo options. LOVE IT.
Awesome! I love it when people love their car!
One of the best looking small suv on the road

Awesome! Or maybe I should say molto bene!
Do you happen to know which one of the Grecales he got?
@@labitcoineragt3596 She got the GT.
Really like it!!
One of the best car review channels around. Love it 👍🏻
Thank you!

Thank you Greg. I may also make mention that you can buy a drivetrain warranty that spans out to 10 years … I bet it costs a pretty penny, though!
Brilliant video from the UK here.
Thanks
😂😂 Rented one of these while on vacation for a week... Love love it. They did check all the boxes and the looks...wow!
Matt is stepping up to the big time. I couldn't afford the service costs. 😊
Thanks mate. It was nice to get a go in this one!
Great review. Subscribed 👍
Thank you!
Looking forward to the day you test drive the Ineos Grenadier..hint, hint and the same price thereabouts as this Maser...
Very nice car, believe Maserati has got the right way ... will buy one when replacing my Grand Cherokee
Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for the review, now I am thinking to buy one Grecale.
Va bene!
Your videos are great! Thanks leanring lots! But im so lost... waiting for a Ford Escape 2023 review
For a $50k option, the Pope better be hand painting the car!
Forza Italia!!!🇮🇹🇮🇹

I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS 🤪🤓
Hi Matt. How does the engine run in terms of vibration and overall refinement?
It was good, pretty refined but not ridiculously smooth.

Cool! Which spec?
@@therightcar vzx , sunroof with Graphen grey. :)
funny that you did't mention the alfa romeo stelvio. the car its based on as an alternative
Yeah it’s also old and not amazing, in my opinion.
@@therightcar same for the macan and the tonale isn't exactly exciting
I’m driving a Tonale soon. Really looking forward to it.

LOL, but also I think you need to have one. Lexus has one in its electric door handle cars too.
Definitely a safety thing as well.
A very pretty car. I cant afford it, but I can watch the video at least :).
Hey Matt please do a Ghibli review
What, no please?

Thanks mate. I like that sentiment “if you can afford a luxury car, who cares?” 😝
Expected reliability should be a section in your videos as they are otherwise very informative.

I purchased this car, and it has only been a big disappointment 1:56
Really?? Tell me more!!
