what i don't know is that she's giving me pretty big hints that she isn't interested so I don't think she likes me. However, at the same time, I don't think she hates me. @@vahwah just been that way. We all meet up and let's say for example friend A says hi to her she'll either wave or say hi back. I come in and say hi and everyone responds with a hi except her. I mean everyone says she's quiet and weird at times so we didn't think much of it but it kinda gets to me when I say hi and never get a response out of her. Weird enough she's okay with me driving her places just me and her but its like super quiet in the car lol.

In retrospect, there was a shy girl that liked me in my high school digital media class. She would compliment my storyboards, insisted on partnering with me in videos, and "forgot" how to do all the editing so I had to carry her through class (she sat next to me). The part I should have understood earlier was how in all her videos I instructed to flirt with her. Once, I was asked, by her, to put my arm around her neck and I almost ran out of the room from the rush of anxiety. Dude, so ok, all of these things have confirmed that a girl had a crush on me.
So there is this girl who I know and she always comes up to me and tries to chat with me, knowing that I don't usually chat with anyone and am usually alone.
Then when the lockdown started she found my Facebook and started to chat to me for hours XD
Note that I never thought she would remember me, because I had never talk to anybody in that place that we are both apart of, about my Facebook or my personal life.
Sadly though the chats have stopped, and to be honest I just want it to stop because I don't know how to react or keep a conversation up for long unless it is something I am really interested in.

Nephibis I was afraid that if I told him, it would be awkward between us. At the time I was putting a drawing on his desk every day secretly and I wanted to keep on doing it. I also wasn’t emotionally prepared to deal with rejection or ready to be in a relationship. But I had ended up telling him, at the time he said same but recently he told me that he pretended not to know and once I had told him he said he said same because he didn’t want to break my heart. Right, so, I have made many misjudgments when identifying if a girl likes me. To give a bit of background, I tend to get very attached to girls when I'm particularly low and when they show me an act of kindness it just generates an extremely strong emotional bond for me. The last 4 times this has happened, it's with someone I'm not actually interested in, nor are they really compatible, so when they state we're just friends, it really hurts, but it is also extremely liberating, as my mind returns to a less obsessive (obsessive is a bit strong, but the feeling/s are along those lines) state and I can go about my day to day again without constantly thinking about her and the general situation. Now, I've recently moved into a new Uni accommodation and me and this girl have been talking everyday since pretty much. She different, as in, she's exactly what I would want out of a partner/girlfriend. The amount of times I've googled - signs a girl likes you, or any variation of that is ridiculous at this point haha. She demonstrates a lot of the behaviour mentioned in this video and in articles etc. Laughs at my jokes - good or bad, glances at me, licking her lips, emphasising her neck, fidgeting, acting very differently when its just me and her...theres definitely a tension there and I feel that we are both nervous, yet comfortable around eachother simultaneously. However, due to all these previous diabolical attempts/situations in the past, I just can't accept it, or think positively about the situation. I don't want to be that mentally ill guy who gets attached out of nowhere to a friend again, even though this situation is very different, it scares the hell out of me. This video helps, so thank you very much. I managed to informally arrange a 'date' to go plant shopping as we both love growing plants, her more so than me, and I made it very clear that she could say she didn't want to etc. as I really am afraid of making her uncomfortable like people in the past. She couldn't make the date I suggested and she rearranged. This time certainly feels different, the others were so obviously not interested, but my mix of high functioning Autism and seeing what I wanted to see (My last GF was at 16 and now I am 25, so theres definitely a yearning for companionship). She has always kept the conversation going, asks questions, shows me her more nerdy side and I just...I really, really like her, she's special. When I get attached I tend to buy the girl in question things, or draw her something. I've brought this girl a plant, a couple of chocolate bars and a decoration for her room over the last month and she seems to really appreciate it, whereas the others would have that confused/concerned look on their face which I only retrospectively picked up on, even though it was clear as day. I hope this works out, it would just be amazing...wish me luck, lord knows I need it.

TBH, I completely forgot about this comment and the couple of others I posted elsewhere mirroring its sentiment. It's both saddening and encouraging reading through it, as it's clear how confused and mentally unwell I was during the period I wrote this, but it provides a clear indicator of how far I've come since.
