Nice set up, a great 4 wheel bug out. The right color truck, not advertising by being all camouflage, then again it not bright red. I am thinking you are in Texas, thinking your camping in South East Texas.

Good set up snake, use what you got. I knew a old guy that did what you're doing back in the 50's, used a canvas tarp and mosquito netting from WW2, here in N.Florida we always have mosquito's. Snake from N Fla.

You mention the idea that it my not be legal to camp in your truck where you were at, another sad commentary on the state of things in the U.S.. People used to just pull off the road or into roadside rest and sleep when they needed too without any questions. I knew someone who traveled thru-out the U.S. using that method years ago, not so easy anymore. Many of the roadside rest, often with picnic tables, have been closed down in my area.Mostly because of drug and other unsavory activities.

Cool setup. Been doing some truck camping up here in Canada. I got a small tent woodstove piped out the window supported by a bipod. This is an awesome idea for summer with the mosquito net. I've run a tarp as an awning off the back. Bungie cords work great to hold to the truck box. Great video. Always enjoy your stuff. Cheers
