Good stuff!! But somebody thought Tokido do ca chip at that moment because he didn't want momochi keeping his v-trigger for coming back potential(though we knew Tokido still lost that round.)
***** Yeah i got the name mixup np. Regardless Ryu got the super after being knocked down by Ken.. Rewatch the match and you'll see. Ryu had no chance to do a raw super unless he did it as wakeup reversal.
that chip setup by tokido was intentional at that moment since it robbed momochi's v-trigger and his comeback factor. I thought that was the smartest move tokido can make right there. definitely not a mistake
LOL he has ex bar, raw CA you just ex dp get out. Ken with V-trigger could have finished tokido off in 1 mixup. Tokido had full V-trigger and super and he traded his super for momochi's v-trigger activation. Ken without v-trigger is 100% less scary than ken with v-trigger.
those soft reset meaty and wake up meaty setups laugh is showing only works when ur opponent don't have invincible reversal or super charged, hence why the dummy is set to mika and vega
I hope you get this... if possible I would love to see a video on button pressing and proper timing.. me and a team of stfv casuals are having issues on how to execute button pressing.. many thanks
I was expecting something more than simple meaty CA. Can’t some characters get out of it if they have meter anyway? What if instead of canceling a button into CA you do a poke that leaves you plus and then CA kinda like a frame trap, can you still V-Reversal that?
If you super while they're in block stun then they can V reversal, if you super the instant they recover then it becomes no different from just doing a raw super in their face. Which takes us back to your first point that if they have meter they can just DP or get out of it. In fact, a meaty super would be better since they can't avoid it if they don't have a DP. With your example some characters can avoid it without meter. Zangief/ryu could parry a ryu raw super, but not a meaty one. Plus in your example some supers can be neutral jumped too.
ALAKTORN If you're + it means they're in block stun, if they're in block stun they can V Reversal. If you wait until you're 0 (AKA they aren't in block stun anymore, so they can't V reversal) All you did was raw CA in their face at that point.
Coolbman2 Dude, CAs don’t come out frame 1. There is startup. If you do a 5f CA at +0, they might be able to jump it or whatever, but if you do it at +3, they will only have been out of block stun for 2 frames. It’s completely different from doing it point blank. I don’t know how V-Reversal works so I don’t know how that works into it, but I thought there was a window you could V-Reversal in, not just every frame of blockstun?
Can you do a video about how to fight charge characters. Since I use a more counter attack based play style, charge characters counter me with their defensive play style, what can I do to counter them at the very least. Have to git gud so I can actually get a rank. Also very nice video, I can at least use this as a trump card for my friend who can figure out you can V-reversal out of a chip kill.
First, there's no such things as a ''counter attack based play style''. You don't know how to initiate offense, which means you're stuck waiting for the opponent to fuck up. That's not a playstyle, that's being limited at the game. If you read your opponent is just sitting and blocking, throw them, if you anticipate he's pressing buttons, use a normal that beats it, etc.
I think what he's trying to say is that since an opponent can V-reverse out of a critical art if you try to chip them out, try getting a throw or knockdown and then use your critical art while they're getting up to secure the round.
It'll backfire if they have access to a move that will go through it and hit you at the given range, so it depends on the character. And it's not just about if they have CA; Ryu could just DP you if you do this point blank.
Can't you just V-Reversal the first hit of Ryu's Shinkuu Hadouken in the setup you show? This only works in true magic pixel situations where the very first hit of whatever will kill, so it's pretty situational. Unless you're someone like Balrog who does all his chip in one or two hits.
I guess she does it automatically when she is idle for a certain period of time. Same when Birdie throws his bugger at you, not completely sure though.
I mean... why not just raw super? It doesn't have to be meaty. And besides that it's not even a true chip-kill situation if you have to throw or damage the opponent first before doing the CA to get it to be meaty. I don't get this video.
For you non-Street Fighter guys, there will be an analysis video next week :)
KI? 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀
+Terry King this channel feature relevant games only , sorry m8 :p
Silent Ninja Just build a custom stick with the Akishop Customs PS360+ PCB, it works with almost everything, and has less input lag on PS3 and PS4.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER VIDEO FROM YOU FOR TWO WEEKSSSS THANK YOU FOR POSTING ANOTHET VIDEO
That was a very good shot to end it on!
Good stuff!! But somebody thought Tokido do ca chip at that moment because he didn't want momochi keeping his v-trigger for coming back potential(though we knew Tokido still lost that round.)
+18ac81 Actually Momochi knocked Ryu down, and THEN Ryu got Super so your theory doesn't apply.
***** Yeah i got the name mixup np. Regardless Ryu got the super after being knocked down by Ken.. Rewatch the match and you'll see. Ryu had no chance to do a raw super unless he did it as wakeup reversal.
Since Ken blocked the cr mp after the whiff how could the super have hit with slower startup? He could've jumped it or dp

LMAO are you even watching the match. momochi has no life. "pop the CA on get up" if tokido gets a knock down momochi is already dead.
For your reference here is what a top ryu player thought happened. twitter.com/TheAirRyu/status/747273805802799104
in your eyes it's a poor decision, in my eyes this is highest level of decision making. our conservation ends here.
This is really good tech I'm pretty new to SFV but this is very smart
This technique was used by Yukadon at Evo 2016 Top 8. Check it out: ruclips.net/video/tGsMvpRarWE/видео.htmlm
Thank you for these lessons.
I hope you get this...
if possible I would love to see a video on button pressing and proper timing.. me and a team of stfv casuals are having issues on how to execute button pressing..
many thanks
Please make an Arcade Stick COMBO input video for SFV
So timing it meaty stops them from reverse superingright?
that tech mate!
This is so sick

***** That's true I forgot
Coolbman2
It is different from a raw CA in their face, lol. That’s the whole point of being plus.

I love/need these
thank you so much
that doesn't work against invincible reversals, right? (except for Ryu's ca maybe)
Only if the super has longer invincibility than the reversal

Bait them, make them believe you're going in so they throw their attacks, and punish in their recovery.

darthrevan6 Well my main problem is actually getting in setups. Thanks for the insight.
Le KingCarnage watch the video ''My explanation of footsies'' on youtube.
Nice tech!
First confusing video I've ever seen on this channel.
lol. I was confused at 1st.....🤔 I think I got it tho

"Poor charge characters."
You talking mess about FREEDOM?! You never jump in on FREEDOM!
next episode...
How come you upload what feels like once a month?
Won't this backfire if they also have super?
Totally thought of Balrog when I read this.
It'll backfire if they have access to a move that will go through it and hit you at the given range, so it depends on the character.
And it's not just about if they have CA; Ryu could just DP you if you do this point blank.
***** Oh nice, so you can still use it as long as you can survive the DP!
ahem..your channel.

Can you even prove V-Rev'ing the first hit of Ryu's CA is actually possible?
2:16 Wait...wtf was that? Cuz it aint her taunt.
I guess she does it automatically when she is idle for a certain period of time. Same when Birdie throws his bugger at you, not completely sure though.
yes All of the characters has some of their own poses after the certain period of time.
Zillen i'm aware of that, but I didn't know Karin did that. I'll have to check it out.
you should check
Press All 6 Buttons Together to get Taunt.
Summary: Make it hit Meaty
OMG GERALD
I play Guile FeelsBadMan
At the part where he says he loses his charge. Couldn't you do the crouch thing that stores his charge?
Which crouch thing? You mean the crouch walk? You can't super from that
The crouch walk just lets you move forward a little but keep your flash kick.
I love u...
I mean... why not just raw super? It doesn't have to be meaty.
And besides that it's not even a true chip-kill situation if you have to throw or damage the opponent first before doing the CA to get it to be meaty. I don't get this video.
