    Stopping mode (creep) is no longer available.

  • @JJGresco
    @JJGresco 5 месяцев назад +1

    Which of the stopping settings is most similar to a standard car? Is it creep? I have test driven 2 teslas at the dealership and I couldn’t find this setting as an option

    • @astateoftech
      @astateoftech  5 месяцев назад

      I realized after that Tesla has removed stopping mode options from the new Model Y. Creep used to replicate a standard car, but Hold is enforced now

      If you were to buy a 2022 model y would it still be available? Or was there an update to all cars new and used?

    • @astateoftech

      @@JJGrescofrom my understanding the 2022 model y should still have it!

    What happens when "Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking is Limited" is turned ON vs. OFF?

    • @R3xii
      @R3xii 3 месяца назад +1

      Regenerative braking becomes limited when you charge to 100% because there is no space in the battery to store the recaptured energy.
      With it ON: physical brakes will apply when you take your foot off the accelerator, giving you the “feel” of regenerative braking.
      With it OFF: the brakes will not apply and the car will not slow down like it would with regenerative braking. This feels similar to when you take your foot off on a gas car.

      @@R3xii Got it, thank you for the thorough explanation! So if I would like it to behave more like a gas car, I would select OFF. Perfect!
