I always thought Tesla will be so helpful in older population but dont see many driving one. For someone (me) feels driving is a stressful task, its truly a gift from heaven!
I think they are great vehicles for us older folks. But my wife, about to turn 70, refuses to even test drive one. I would love to have a Model Y. My son has a M3, which I enjoy driving. Tesla turned the self drive on for him to try for a month and we had so much fun using it when I visited him in Colorado 2 weeks ago. I want a 1/2 ton pickup or I'd buy a Y for myself.
@ I did not want to test drive a Tesla 🫣. BUT my son took me out to look at cars. (My husband’s request.). My son really really wanted me to try the Tesla. I finally said okay…. And we went to the shop in Kennesaw. As soon as I sat in the Tesla Y, I said “This is the most comfortable car ever”. Then I drove it …the power as you start up, how quiet and smooth it drives. I LOVED it. But I was sure that I wanted a Toyota RAV , so we went to test drive that car. No comparison. I am still in love with my Tesla after 6 months. My husband loves driving it. We took it on a long trip to Kentucky in September, and had no trouble finding SuperChargers along the way to charge the motor. Saves money on gas. I just plug it in to a normal outlet during off-peak hours (11:00 pm to 7:00 am).

As far as my late 23 model Y (new cameras no USS) experience goes it was able to park only when I had the free FSD option. After the free FSD expiration I've not seen the park assist option.
