I love Tesla, no matter what anybody says all these features are so convenient, and I can use every last one of them that megaphone and century mode is the best
Just bought my first ever Tesla and as a tech lover, I cannot believe it’s took me this long to realise how good this car is from a tech perspective. Cannot WAIT to try all these functions, thank you for the clean and well presented content, new subscriber - because the Tesla told me to subscribe 😂
@@JustFrugalMeI wish i could speak remotely in Dog (Pet?) Mode to my pet while watching her on the interior cam. She's not picking up on the megaphone which may not be desirable at night.
Great stuff, I'm getting my Tesla this week and look forward to playing with the gadgets, along with driving it of course.! One quibble, before HHG was a book it was a fantastic BBC radio show, HIGHLY recommended.
Might want to mention, you have to pay for sentry mode and all the streaming services. I had a trial for my first 30 days, then I had the option to pay.
Just curious, but what year and model Tesla do you have to have for these features to work? I have a 2019 Model S, and I know I don't have an outside speaker.
My 2019 Model 3 had live camera surveillance on the app, but my 2020 Model S does not. It has Sentry mode and all the same cameras other than the cabin camera and yet this feature is missing. I wonder why, it’s a sad thing
Thanks for the tips and tricks. But Im not seeing the way how to add more streaming services that you showed. If you could help me with that I would love to give you support. Thank you bud.
Can Siri broadcast your voice while driving? I wish you could use the outside speaker when driving through parking lots to warn “texting” pedestrians in traffic lanes.
@@HDSupermotoYou can ask Tesla service to install external speaker if you have a car that has place for it but was manufactured before it was required by law to make noise when driving slow. There is an empty space for it in early TMY’s. I like the boombox feature but I like silent cars more so I decided not to do this.
"hitchhiker's guide to Galaxy!!!!!" Not "reality". Goodness me. . The "trilogy in five parts" by the magnificent Douglas Adams, who died far too early.
How about a video on the 11 features we've all been asking for or should be asking for. 1. A way to clean inside the windshield, and door pillars, where the cameras are. (Cars are full of oily things, these heat up and give off gases which then condense on cool surfaces, like the windows. No problem if you can clean them. The inside of my three windscreen cameras has a growing deposition stain. And sometimes the wipers, especially when the sun is low and in front, just won't turn off. 2. A way to stop the wipers when they just refuse to turn off. There are questions on the forums about this since the first Model 3s in 2018. 3. Eliminating annoying distractions. When an alarm goes off in a Tesla, what is it for? I'm squinting at the 3 point gray type on the screen to see what the problem is -- and my Tesla starts freaking out that my eyes are not on the road. Who made this like this? Who thinks this is a good idea. (I get the impression there are different departments for different parts of the screen, and like bureaucracies if they can get a long line at their department they look important. (I turned off voice because I don't want a repetitious interruption to my thoughts, my concentration and my audiobook telling me how to get from my house to the freeway.... Why can't it pause my book when it wants to interrupt me?) 4. The work flow of the screen. Why do things appear in the middle of the screen blocking critical information? How do we scan that screen for information? Why is it all over the place? 5. When are they going to update and improve the 2005 map tech? My Tesla will decide to take a different route. It doesn't let me know this, it just starts trying to change lanes. The problem? I know the way home, Tesla's going in another direction. That's okay but from what I can see of the map it just looks wrong. (like changing lanes to merge onto the 'next' freeway when it's just the same freeway I'm on.) The maps are either too far out or too close in, so you can't see the upcoming turn. Street names have one size, unreadable. 6. Graphics. Anyone else hear the turn signal click, glance at the screen and then have to puzzle out if the car is about to go left or right? The graphics suck. I glance and see a small green thing on the screen. Sure one is to the left the other to the right, but there is no reference. 7. Why doesn't Tesla have a Problems Check List? My tailgate is acting weird. I go online. I can find 500 messages from people having this problem but all Tesla might have to say about it is how to do the basic operation and set the height limit. Is it the sensor or alignment? Is it dirt? (I had a problem once where the window would stay up as I closed the door. It was going to break that window. Tech came out, she didn't even close the door, she opened it, saw the window go up and just replaced the sensor. She'd seen the problem before. She also had a suggestion on how to keep from breaking the window, 'If it ever does that again, of course submit a repair, but also put the window all the way down before closing the door.' Duh on me. She even knew that some water had entered from the inside pocket on the door.) 8. Make the FSD symbol bigger and more noticeable -- especially when it turns off. No I don't want to read a text box,. And A symbol for Cruise Control. "I'll turn off FSD but I'll keep you at 65 mph" as kind of a surprise. [Tesla always says the driver wasn't using FSD when they shot off the exit ramp into the weeds, what they don't say is Cruise Control stayed on, at freeway speed.) Mostly it's just the graphics on the screen, all the alarms (seriously would any of us drive with someone who was always freaking out over minor stuff, and then turning off FSD on curve? No, we'd say, 'You are too crazy to be in a car with. You shout at the wrong moments, turn off the FSD at moments of danger. You're always telling me to put my hands on the wheel when you don't want my hands on the wheel. You insist that I have one hand pulling the wheel a bit which makes it dangerous when you turn off FSD on curves. And last week you tried to run a red light. WTF FSD?) Don't be mistaken. I love my Tesla, for three years I've love driving my Tesla, but some things should've been fixed already.
Absolutely, a video on the 11 features you've mentioned would be fantastic. These improvements could enhance the Tesla experience for many users, addressing some common concerns and making the driving experience even better. Your feedback is valuable, and I'm sure many Tesla owners share your sentiments.
I doubt that "we all" have been asking for that stuff....... The majority of those things will never be "fixed" because you aren't thinking of the people who are totally fine with it and would start bitching if they changed it to your specific flavor.
There are growth mindset people and fixed mindset people. The fixed mindset people are usually the ones saying, "Well, I don't have that problem....." Inevitably it's up to you to fix the problem. I was just on a boat with a guy, loves EVs, had them for 10 years -- but will never buy a Tesla. He spent three months telling me everything I was about to attempt to fix something on the boat, "That's not going to work." Almost all of it did work. More than half of the people who use smart phones, if 20 years ago, were given the specs for one would've said, "My flip phone is fine. I don't need all that." And all my clever fixes on that boat? Back on land I continued to search for solutions to those problems and learned better ways to do most of them. That's how progress is made. it's also a lot more fun. And people currently driving Teslas are far more likely to have growth mindsets.

How do you undo the Santa mode?
Inside of the toybox, you’re going to scroll all the way to UC Santa and you can click there to undo Santa mode
In the toybox you going to scroll over until you see Santa there’s a little reindeer click on there and you can disable it from there
