Hope you get some downtime soon to build! P5 and p5g definitely complement each other.

I could pick apart the design for this and that which could maybe be better optimized for weight or strength but forget all that, this is one of the coolest looking freestyle quad builds to date. Awesome work!
Thank you so much! I know it’s not a build from scratch video, but I’m still glad it’s easy to follow for new comers with the foundations and basics hehe 👍
Patrick and kibby have a great eye to better performance of a frame. Proto5 was by fast the best frame ever built. I've never broken a frame yet. If you got an idea to make the prints better they listen and make a mad science on blender to make your experience a better one. Patrick include some proto racewire with your frames would be epic. I would love to see a frame design with the AU mounted vertical for maximum airflow for 03 or Vista. The buzzer placement got me sold. Never fly without a self-powed buzzer even with GPS. RTH doesn't always go well. With battery ejection makes the buzzer your protection fit your investment.
Hi! Sorry no plans at the moment. I do have proto5 cinematic racer (different frame) which is a lightweight, still very strong (ppl actually bando with it) no props in view quad.
Sick looking drone. However centre of mass is not measured with a battery in the middle, it’s measured with whatever angle you’re flying so the quad should be tilted forward
Maiden/Tuning flight of my P5G here: ruclips.net/video/jdqaidKf0do/видео.htmlsi=PDqBOyVxn89l4dLO If you're using motors larger than 2307.5, then you may like my pids, I'm using 2406 1850KV/AxisFlying. .. Thanks @PattyFlipz ! Now time to rebuild my stolen Proto 5CR.PattyFlipz
Damn, i really like the angular design, its like the lamborghini of frames. If i were a canadian i would get one today, but living in europe, taxes add up, ill need some excuse like my birthday to spend that kind of money. Dont sell out till december 😂, tho ill probably give in before that
Thank you man! I try my best to make them special. 😂🙌 When shipping, I try to value the frames a lot lower, like $60. So hopefully that might help. Yeah I’m looking forward to your order! Thanks for the interest!!
@@PattyFlipz nice, just ordered an ice one, tho ill probably print some other colors too, thanks for provinding stls, lookinf forward to build something with this frame
Haha would love to get two out the door! 😂 You would have to manually add all the frame pieces in your cart in the p5g spares product page on Protofpv.com
So how do i get one....do you offer a custom build option?.....whats the total weight after tpu?....looks nice and needs to be a part of my fleet!!! Lol hmu
Haha yeah I hope it can be part of your fleet too! Yeah I totally forgot to weigh the quad for the video.. this exact build in the video is about 443g without lipo. But with props , tpu, O3 au, everything . Keep in mind that’s with a full 30x30 55a aluminum heat sink stack on it. If using naked vista, walksnail, analog, AIO or mini stack you can expect to minus 20-40g. Check out my website www.Protofpv.com and make sure you select your countries currency to see the accurate price. Thanks for the interest 🤙
@@PattyFlipz yeah I'm definitely getting one I live in the u.s.a...I'm currently flying the syncmode, five33 flipswitch, and five33 Footy. I want to get yours and put some supernovas on there!!! It's going to be so fire....I also posted it to my fpv teams discord and fb chat....so I should be put on commission immediately lmao....when I like a product I push the sh!!t out of it...innovation in fpv really interest me and I'm really liking this frame. @@PattyFlipz ohhh hot damn.....I'm on it....lets sell some frames bro!!! Maybe ill make me enough to get my very own....lmao I can't wait that long....lmao I'm going to eat Ramen for a week so I can get this frame lmao
Thanks for your feedback! ❤😂 My next frame I'll make it very pretty and very cheap because then everyone will be interested. LOL ok ok seriously, think about it. if this frame was a real person, it would look like a prized UFC fighter. Not a pretty girl or boy, but built tough and can knock you the F*** out. Expensive salary cause they are that good. Also this quad is a tank frame. Tried my best to make it look good, but as you know, tanks are not supposed to be nice, they just bash :) Hope you understand these analogies. Thanks for watching, appreciate it.
@PattyFlipz Nice job for your effort 👌. But aluminium is not good material. They are many reasons for that, and very expensive to manufacture cnc aluminium. Second; titanium screws , light but very expensive ( when you wrap the frame full of the tpu parts, you don't save nothing ), and the frame becomes very ugly ( people don't like to much tpu parts). Next time, use only carbon and for the camera aluminium cnc cage.,and also the manufacture production will be much cheaper ,cheaper replacement parts. Nobody wants to buy a tank....in the end of the day will crash a lot, and your tank will break 💯. Good luck with your new project 👍
We can agree and disagree on a lot of things, we can design how we believe in, but what you speak about just sounds like every other frame on the market. Protofpv is about being different and unconventional. Do you know why there’s so many prints? Because most North American frame designers/companies barely provide any in order to save money and compete against the low costs of China . We need to print it ourselves. I designed every print to be functional, I didn’t just stick it on there to dress up. Now imagine you decide not to use prints on p5g and just zip tie everything. It’s going to perform light as F with the titanium screws. The joys of customization of FPV bro. If aluminum is a bad material why do you suggest to use it to protect the precious camera? Camera cage gets scratched up first way too easily and the aluminum looks horrible after looking at a scratched up face, especially if it’s finished black. The camera cage on p5g is 3mm thick t700 carbon fiber plates, and hard to break. Yes at the end of the day all tanks break but the idea is p5g gonna last a bit longer than most tanks. If I start hearing they break really fast then yes I’ll have a problem, but so far so good. It’s quite strong. Thank you for your feedback though but Protofpv is about turning shit upside down. 🙃 otherwise quite honestly I wouldn’t do this in the first place.
Also I know lots of industry ppl randomly follow me with their personal accounts…You got my attention by calling my frame “ugly” cause quite frankly that’s sort of rude lol although you are right cause I designed the frame to look “rude” on purpose! Like a big 🖕😂 to conventional design. if you want to continue a nice frame design discussion you can email me and tell me who you are. Would love to chat through there man. Really. Cheers.
Using 200% of your brain when doing the design of the frame & 3D print 🧠
Great work !
True! You gotta use that brain muscle quite a bit. I've lost a lot of hair doing this, or maybe cause I'm just getting old?? haha. XD
Frame & prints look pretty sick, nice job.
Thanks man!! 🙏🤙
Absolutely epic still trying to find the time to build my p5 and now I want this one too

Amazing work my friend ! I hope you will release a long range frame this year 😇
Oh I will. I sure will!! 😂👍👌
Great frame ...love it . I like orange
Thank you! Yes an instagram follower suggested this colour way so I just tried it out! :D
Awesome video, im new to the drone hobby but this video was very easy to follow and i think the drone looks amqzing

I could only image this frame with the new AOS 8S motors! Insane cruising speeds!
That be literally nuts. 8s 🤔 never tried!
Really Brilliant engineering!
Thank you John 👌👋
AOS Super Nova motors would be sick on this frame Patrick.
