That was very cool. Nice audio of wind and water ontop of classical piano. Your rig rocks my desire to fly your tasty fpv design all over the inlets and harbors of Alaska. Well done.
Haha thanks man! yeah its silly for sure and I love it. it can also take smaller batteries to look normal and it freestyles very well with smaller batteries
"Beautiful location," indeed! I love the mountains, and there are none where I live. The *'Great Smokey Mountains'* aren't terribly far, and it's definitely worth the drive. That was a fantastic flight, and very relaxing, with just a touch of excitement as to not get my already high blood pressure, higher. *LOL* A great looking, "Micro Long Range Ripper" you have there. 👍
PATRICK I FINALLY GOT A FACE WITH THE VOICE I LOVE YOU BRO!!! Which one is kibby?! Your frames are amazing. Guys you have to get one or 4. We live in and amazing time of history to enjoy these things that the earth had never seen.
Thanks man!! I show my ugly ass mug from time to time in previous videos but it’s so ugly you really don’t wanna see it. Kibby is the guy in the middle, or sometimes holding the iPad in the video. Cheers Seth!!
Great question! Being above sub250g, a 3.5” can be made more efficient, lift more, fit more stuff! but I truly truly value compactness, lightness, it means a lot to me to carry light and still capable of having useable footage and flying far enough with the smallest stature you can get away with! I think the 2.5” strikes this balance but who knows. I will dare myself to go smaller in the future…Smaller quads are less intimidating visually to others and animals alike. It’s that delicate balance I’m trying to play and it’s cute. The p25 with 4s lion battery is its most extreme form... Other dedicated customers have made it work with 1300mah+ 4s lipos and remained sub250 with at least 10 minute flight times!! which is similar to the length of my flight here (except lion battery gives you more time just in case) p25 with lion battery etc. will probably not work with a naked GoPro action camera on top. It will just be terrible and overloaded maybe. 😂 that’s where bigger frames come in. P25 is not for everyone for sure, I’ll admit that. 👍 but it’s perfect for users who use the o3 au as primary or an ultralight action camera like a go2/3. P25 comes with small battery strap and medium battery strap for all sizes of 4s batteries. Ok I wrote too much 😂
Hmmm I actually haven’t found any yet! Any other prop I tried just wasn’t the same feel I’m looking for. Maybe try or look for any prop with a similar pitch if available.
Hey man! It’s a flyfish Rc antenna for the o3 au. It’s got dual ufl coming out the post. You can find it on their website. Just search o3 antenna in the search bar
Hey, why do you use 2inch quad for LR? As I understand you could use 4inch LR quad with the same battery but it will gives you more flight time and more power. Or it is not correct?
Hi, I use to fly a 1.6” and tried to fly it pretty far without a gps, I found that really fun because it was less intrusive to the environment and unnoticeable to animals or humans. p25 is a 2.5” quad and has a nice sweet spot for freestyle performance and some efficiency for what it is. So basically it’s my burning desire to push the limits of a micro quad and see how they fare. I also have a 4” LR and 7” but it’s crazy how I prefer flying the 2.5” still. The 4” LR I have, the footage is unusable with any slight wind. 7” is heavy and takes up the entire backpack and same 15 minute flight time as p25! (With a 4000mah 6S)
Oh i have a protostrap video with links. Just look it up on RUclips. Remember to tighten it real good the way i show you in the video. It only works a particular way and also highly recommend to use grippy sticky lipo pad
Hi, yes! But you have to follow this video I made: ruclips.net/video/tviKmcDja5M/видео.htmlsi=DBUoS1EEG7l3IkVy - how much to build the drone... Hmmm... I think it depends which systems you use and what parts you get, but assuming you are using a DJI O3 AU, and good parts, I guess it will be somewhere around $500 ~ $550 USD
@@PattyFlipz 550 usd thats fucking cheap! yeah i have a emax babyhawk 03 and i love it. but i want long range and whats out there from geprc and iflight im not interested. but this was amazing. are you gonna be selling the whole drone BNF? or just the frame etc? i want this drone with ELRS long ass antenna like you have. but i dont wanna mod my integra i just watch the video you made of it. if i have this drone with dji and long antenna for both elrs and dji antenna you think i can kinda do something like you did in that great video you made.
@Bobby2Hotty83 thanks man! Happy to hear this one appeals to you. At the moment I only sell frames so customers would need to gather parts on their own to build it. If you are from the US, I am working with a dealer AddictiveRC. We are working towards where he can be a one stop shop for Protofpv frames and matching electronics and shipped from the USA. Thanks for the interest!!
I tried these straps with my 3.5” using 720mah 4S and I kept ejecting batteries. Maybe I didn’t print them right. Idk, but after I had to go searching for the second battery as it got dark, I haven’t tried again.
I find I had to pull it pretty hard and had to be combined with a sticky battery pad to make it super stuck. But once it’s locked in, it’s been decent. But I haven’t crashed it that hard yet tho lol
@@JonFloFPV yeah, I can see for cruising these would work well. But I was ripping and had some decent, typical freestyle crashes. Maybe I hit the roof or hit a tree while flying in the front yard… nothing crazy like I was in a crazy bando with lots of rafters or anything
@JuicySmullietFPV yeah make sure you use sticky lipo grip, like tessegrip and if you think you pulled it hard, pull two extra notches more. Also they go on a specific way. The buckle has to be aligned to the side of the lipo, it cannot lay flat on top of the lipo. Not sure if you watched my protostrap video but the tutorial is there. Thanks for trying it though!!
Awesome!! No I don’t make the 2” anymore. Reason is It’s not that much lighter than p25, only more compact by 1” in all sides, and doesn’t fly with as much authority and less efficient using 4s. It’s only lighter like 3-5g. So I’m thinking how to make it special like a 2s lipo or 3s l-ion lipo with nano gps with different geometry… but I haven’t figured it out yet!
@PattyFlipz yeah I definitely understand. That's actually what I'm after as well. The proto 25 is perfect for the Air unit. Have you considered the resizing with a Naked 03 or any other VTX? Definitely shave off weight and probably offer better balance
For p25? I have a naked o3 mount you can download and print in the downloads section of my page. You can find it in the p25 “extras” folder . The only thing with naked o3 is the possibility of overheating if searching for sats.. so at the moment I stick with the metal cases and the weight. Or you can do semi naked. Keep the tin looking caps on to dissipate heat. That might work too.
@@PattyFlipz Thank you! I tried that out and got the goku mini stack to fit kinda snug... and the over heating issue was kinda subdued to the FC being able to turnoff the vtx when not in use. So no extra heat until take off it seems.
Where is the non-stabilized footage? I built a 4s 2" quad that weighs about 165g all up... and has crossfire and Vista inside. It's more of an acro 2 inch built like a 5 inch, that flies like a 5 inch.
Cool man! Props to ya! Oh yeah I heard about that quad before. Someone said p25 reminded them of it. Yeah here’s the GOGGLE DVR - Tiny King of the Hill | Sub250 Micro Long Range Ripper | Premium 2.5" FPV Drone Frame ruclips.net/video/50S_fbji4kI/видео.html

Lighting a joint and watching the fly over is a vibe tbh
lol!! 😂
Yep
I’m so jealous of the terrain you get to fly. Flat and boring around here, I need to start traveling with m P25… and my Pg5!
Yes! To get here it’s about a 2 hr drive, and there’s a bit of a rugged road. Best to have an suv. . I’m sure you can find some nice cliff sides!
