I tried out a Pork Pie 7 X 14 Cherry bubinga snare some time ago and it was the best sounding snare I've ever heard. Too bad it was so far out of my price range, but lordy lord, that snare was crafted for the drum gods.
Soultone works with various drum companies and DC is just neutral. It's more important to us as a cymbal company to collaborate with the custom drum companies and work together. We think different :)

i think shawn drover is a good fit with megadeth but none will ever top the experimentation, aggression, and speed of nick menza for the drumming position in megadeth

rob nic this is not what playing drums is about for the most part. This is pretty much awful! And you couldn't make any money doing this! How do I know? Because I've made good money playing music with some great artist. Nothing musically about this at all, just playing a hundred miles a minute. No thought process in this at all! LOL!

if you tightend the bottom heads on the floor toms then youll get a longer more resinant sound so that itll sound more fluent like the rack tom does.
