Hi, great video! Can I build my e-commerce wix site before I purchase a plan or do I have to have the plan before I build it? Idk any feedback would be appreciated thank you.
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, you can definitely build an e-commerce Wix site before purchasing a premium plan. But you'll need the paid plan for all features to work properly (and to accept payments) before you launch your site. One thing we would recommend is to wait for a 50% discount offer from Wix before upgrading. For more info on how to save check out this video here: ruclips.net/video/TjYD1oXBw3c/видео.html We also made another video on how to save on your yearly renewals too, which you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/MxgXJxjk7uA/видео.html Hope this helps!
Hi Edna, Great question! You do have to have separate *_accounts_* with both Ecwid and Wix, but you don’t have to pay for any *_plans_* as such, as both Ecwid and Wix allow you to have free-forever plans. So, if you only have 10 products (the maximum number of products allowed with the Ecwid free plan) and don’t mind having a less-professional Wix-branded sub-domain, you can sell up to 10 products online forever. That said, you can only unlock the vast number of benefits and features in both of these very powerful pieces of software, by paying for a plan with both. Which plans from each of them that you combine depends on you, and on how many products you have to sell, and where you want to sell them. You can set up your Ecwid account from within Wix, as per the video tutorial below. It’s the best one we’ve found, and the link allows you to start the video at the 01:40 mark, eliminating a lot of the initial blah-blah. ruclips.net/video/FTh8EEg4yuA/видео.html Hope this helps Edna, and we wish you a fantastic e-commerce journey. 💜
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, Modalyst has a free account option with access to 25 products. However, if you want to connect your free Modalyst account to a Wix website, then for that to work you need to have a minimum of a Wix 'Business Unlimited' plan. Otherwise, you won't be able to link your Modalyst account to your Wix site. Unfortunately, Wix doesn't offer a connection to Modalyst on any plan lower than that. Basically there are 2 accounts you set up: 1. Modalyst account (free) 2. Wix account (Min. of 'Business Unlimited' is required) Then you can link your Modalyst account, no matter what size, to your Wix website. Hope this helps!
How do you get a 50% code (or anything) if you are restarting an old website that you took over and where the membership expired and was not renewed? What is the best approach to save here?
Hi Alexandra, great question! The answer has three parts: 1. Worst idea is to upgrade to a Wix premium plan with no discount. 2. Better is to get the 10% discount that Wix offers 24/7, which we tell you how to get here: ruclips.net/video/_GnGxWZEh-A/видео.html 3. Best is to get the 50% code that Wix offers weekly, as per this video: ruclips.net/video/TjYD1oXBw3c/видео.html We would also suggest starting a completely new free Wix website within your account, that you are creating only to get a discount offer, as we've found that that can be the trigger for getting the code within their standard weekly code release days. You've got a few days until their next weekly discount-code cycle, so you have enough time to do this. There are some exceptions to the 10% discount and 50% promo code, so it's a good idea to watch the videos themselves all the way through to get all the information you need. And to get 50% off again next year, watch this video then: ruclips.net/video/MxgXJxjk7uA/видео.html Hope this helps Alexandra, and good luck with on your journey. 💜
Hi. We understand. If you need more than 50GB of space, then Wix is definitely not going to be the solution for you. One of the best places to start your research into unlimited storage, that I’ve found, is the following article: whdb.com/web-hosting/unlimited-storage/ It’s basic, but that’s what’s needed in the beginning. You’ll have to do a lot more research to finally find the solution that fits all of your various needs other than storage space, such as bandwidth and hidden costs to name just two, but there are a lot of good links in this article to get you started. Hope this helps!

Can you explain more what they mean about no access to modalyst because isn’t that app free but you only get access to 25 non brand products
