Hi Suze, it depends on whether you're currently on a free plan or on an existing premium plan. If you're on a free plan, we wouldn't recommend 2 years to start with, as you can use that as an "upgrade" method later on. If you're already on an existing premium plan and want to use the "longer period" option as an "upgrade" then 2 years would work well. We don't see any negatives if you choose 2 years to upgrade in the second option. If we've misunderstood your question, please provide some more details about your upgrade situation. We just tend to err on the side of safety so that if one company is hacked, or goes bankrupt etc. then not all of our products, as in domain name AND hosting, are affected at the same time, causing double the hassle for us. With regards to extending the license of your domain for 3 years total, it should be possible to purchase an additional 2 years once the first year has been credited to your account for free. The method shown in the video is for "stand-alone" buttons and not integrated solutions, like what you mentioned. As such, yes, it is not possible to change any coding if it is an integrated solution as part of a paid e-commerce plan. Hi Maciej, in this video we are using the Wix Editor. But Wix also offers another design platform to build your website called Wix ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence). These two platforms look different to each other and offer different options. If you are using Wix ADI you do have the option to switch Wix Editor. But you still pay LESS than you would if you stayed locked into your original, lower plan, at full price. So in the end you pay less, not more. Now, if years later, you are on a plan that is higher in cost at 50%, than your original plan at 100%, then as we mentioned in the video, you can choose to downgrade your plan back to the original one, if you're not now using the features of the higher plan. We suggest starting again from the beginning and go through step by step to make sure the code is correct. Hi Sonika, thanks for your question. It's not easy to set up a redirection for this particular button. The 'Smart' button requires coding to make that work. So, the easiest way to do this would be to use another button. One that includes a redirection option as part of setting up the button in the first place. You can do this easily using PayPal's 'Buy Now' or 'Add to Cart' buttons. These buttons include a field for a redirection page as part of set up. These buttons are located on the same page as the ‘Smart’ button of your PayPal account, as shown in the video. Please note, if you use the 'Add to Cart' button, there is also a ‘View Cart’ button, which you would place in the header of your site too, which allows your customer to view their shopping cart while they’re shopping. Make sure to include this on your site too. Hi Nguyen, the free Wix domain (not custom domain) lasts as long as you have an account with them. It's basically 'free forever'. No, you won't get a custom domain name as part of a free account. If you want a customised domain name this is renewed every 1-, 2-, or 3- years, depending on your preference. If you choose a premium paid plan, a custom domain is included for the first year free of charge, if you choose a yearly premium plan. Hope this helps!
