Your Wordpress admin panel is separate from your hosting panel. To access your website folder, you need to log into your hosting account. Not your Wordpress admin panel. Hope this helps!

We assume you mean at this point in the video: ruclips.net/video/Vbp3uXqRPKo/видео.html If you're hosting your site on a shared server then there must be a website folder, otherwise your website wouldn't be online. If you're unsure how to access this, best bet would be to contact your hosting company and ask them how to find it. Hope this helps!

Hi, it could be that you closed your website window and PayPal is having trouble to redirect back to your site. Did you close the original window where your button was, after going to the PayPal checkout? Please let us know 😃

@@websitewiz Hi, and thanks for the reply. Yes, I had another website that is now closed. My PayPal business name is still in that name. I have a new website I am building. Would I need to change the business name to link it?

Hi, we are not business advisors and really it would depend on the type of business/company structure that you are using and how you associate it with the different websites you have set up.
With regards to the CONTINUE SHOPPING button, our advice would be to contact PayPal directly and ask for their guidance on this situation. www.paypal.com/au/smarthelp/home
      Hope this helps!

hello, the video is very well done, congratulations. but I encountered a problem creating the add to cart button on paypal. because the add to cart button is not there and if I click on: "view your saved buttons" it gives me this error: "Sorry - your last action could not be completed
If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.
If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don't use your browser's Back button) and restart your activity.
If you came from PayPal's website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again. "
What can I do? thank you.

Hi Thomas, thanks for the compliment 😃 Sorry to hear that you encountered this problem. This exact error has actually happened to us before. How we handled it is to open PayPal in a different Internet browser. So, if we were using Chrome and got this error, we opened it up in Safari, for example. If you don't have a secondary browser installed, you can download one by doing a Google search. Hope this helps!

Happy New Year, when I add the paypal button on my product page it reflects on all my other products but I want to add a different details on the PayPal button to each product

Hi there, happy new year to you too! 🥳 If you're using the Wix Stores app to create 'products' then you won't be able to use this kind of PayPal button with that application. You would need to be on a Wix business plan to integrate the PayPal payments with the app. The buttons shown in the video are standalone and not part of Wix Stores. Are you creating products on your website using the Wix Stores app?

Is this needed if I'm using Shopify? My guess is not. Anyway, I'm willing to pay money via PayPal to any body who can help me enable my customers to pay via Credit Cards with a button that always shows. I'm so lost and it seems complicated. Anyone?

    • @websitewiz
      @websitewiz  Год назад +1

Hi Howard, the buttons shown in this video are standalone buttons and not able to be controlled by settings within your Shopify account. If you're using Shopify, you don't need to use these buttons. They provide automatic PayPal buttons within the Shopify platform.
To accept credit card payments on a Shopify website, you can use 'Shopify Payments' right on your website, if you live in one of these countries:
      help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/shopify-payments/supported-countries
PayPal is a third party payment processor that you can use if you want to offer your customer more payment options at checkout, or as an alternative to Shopify Payments, if this isn't available in your country.
For more info on how to set up PayPal payments on Shopify, please checkout this article here: help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/paypal/set-up-paypal
Also, for PayPal to work with Shopify, you will need a 'business' PayPal account and this is easy to set up. Please check out the link here for instructions: www.paypal.com/gf/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-upgrade-from-a-personal-premier-account-to-a-business-account-faq1317
For bulk discounts in your Shopify store, here's a general guide on how to set this up:
      1. Create a Discount Code in Shopify:
      a) Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
      b) Navigate to the "Discounts" section.
      c) Create a new discount code.
      d) Set the discount type (percentage, fixed amount, etc.).
      e) In the "Applies to" section, you can either select "Specific products" or "Specific collections" and choose the products that the discount will apply toe) .
      f) Set the criteria for the discount, such as the minimum number of items required.
      2. Configure the Discount Rules:
Depending on the complexity of your discount (e.g., buy 2 items, get 10% off; buy 3 items, get 15% off), you might need to create multiple discount codes with different conditions.
      3. Communicate the Discount to Customers:
Make sure your customers are aware of the discount. You can display it on your website, in email marketing, or through social media channels.
      4. Set Up PayPal as a Payment Gateway:
Shopify supports PayPal as a payment gateway. You'll need to connect your PayPal account to your Shopify store. This allows customers to pay with PayPal during the checkout process.
      5. Consider Using Third-Party Apps:
If Shopify's built-in discount features don't meet your needs, you might want to explore third-party apps from the Shopify App Store that offer more advanced discounting options. Some apps allow you to set up dynamic pricing, tiered discounts, and more.
Look for apps that integrate with both Shopify and PayPal for a seamless experience.
      6. Test the Process:
Before promoting the discount to your customers, make sure to thoroughly test the entire checkout process to ensure that the discounts are applied correctly and that PayPal payments are processed smoothly.
      Hope this helps!

Hi there, great question! This video assumes you've already completed the creation of your button in PayPal. Here we just show you how to customise the design and look of the existing button. However, we have a full step-by-step tutorial showing you how to create a PayPal 'Add to Cart' button here: ruclips.net/video/C-thWrCUYFs/видео.html Hope this helps!
