I created another site that i called "fake site" just to be safe and make sure the discount would pop back up again. I'm on my site building it every single day, so for anyone who thinks you have to log off for a few days, you can throw that idea out. I checked for the deal today and sure enough, it's in there! I didnt notice but I created my account back in march. They did offer me the 50% off multiple times but the last time was late april and none sense. This is my first time logging in a while will the offers come back or are they only after the first month?
Hi Stanley, thanks for the feedback. These days the 50% discount offer comes in once per week and is usually active for 2 days, starting on Tuesday and going through to Thursday. Wix may not be emailing you this offer anymore, but you'll probably have an offer in your account right now, as it's Tuesday. If not, we suggest adding a new website to your profile to kickstart the offers again. It can just be a "draft" website that nobody sees, but sometimes adding a new one can get the offers coming in again, if they've stopped for whatever reason. Hope this helps! If I currently have a Business Unlimited plan where my 2 year subscription is coming to an end, can I simply downgrade to monthly billing cycle, or the Business Basic plan for the next billing cycle, in order to then apply the discount and "upgrade" back to the old Unlimited plan or 2 year billing cycle?
Hi Mr T, that is a really great question! If you're in the USA, you could upgrade your current 2-year plan to a 3-year plan, instead of downgrading to a monthly plan. This would still qualifiy you for a 50% renewal discount. If not, then the idea you have of downgrading to a monthly plan and then upgrading to your previous plan using a 50% discount, is a great option! We haven't tested this out before, but it does sound like a great way to access a 50% discount on the same level of plan you currently have. We'd definitely be interested to know how that works out for you. The USA is the only place that has a 3-year plan, so it's not possible in Europe. However you have nothing to lose by trying your idea of downgrading to a monthly plan and then upgrading to your previous plan, using a 50% discount. So if we were you, we'd definitely try that. @@websitewiz It ended up working but with some extra steps: -Under premium subscriptions click "..." and select "cancel plan" (this is to cancel my 2 year auto renew, I still have premium access until my current plan expires) -Go to the 2nd (empty) website and upgrade that to the desired premium plan, using the 50% bonus -Then go to premium subscriptions on the 2nd (empty) website, click "..." and select "assign to a different site". Select your main website. Now the original site has the 50% off deal, saved 260€ over the next 2 years.
