@@heathj7794 I was literally just asking someone the same thing, I feel like I just blanked 6mths of my life without knowing.. when did I miss the start to this trend
I grew up in Boston in the 90s and 00s. Can concur - car scene was absolutely horrible. There was a handful of interesting shows at Larz Andersen in the summer but that generally attracted cool cars from the entire New England area. Boston area itself is just not a good place to be a car enthusiast because most people treat their vehicles like throw away appliances which they sort of were considering the winters that killed cars fast. I still visit the area regularly - interesting cars are very rare on the street even today. It was only when I moved to SF Bay Area a decade ago that I finally understood what real car culture is. Waaaay more of all sorts of cool cars. No comparison when it comes to shows, they're simply in a different league. But I'm still glad old Bean Town's finally coming around.
Not exactly a "how to" vid... Reality is that if you approach any commercial property owner to hold a C&C today (not 2008...), you will need liability insurance. That's a hurtle, and it puts you at the mercy of the one or two clowns that show up and do something stupid. You could be on the hook for some idiot's idiocy...
Ok wtf how can all the people involved in this miss the obvious location and name they should have tried to use. Setup the meet somewhere that sells icecream and call it "Boston cars and cream or Boston cream and Cars". I guess a donut shop would have worked for an event with that name to lol
I know right? I only go to car meet ups so fireworks can get set off on my car and to hear the Mexicans blast their shitty music out of giant stereos on top of their straight pipe beater Honda's
Consistent meetups like this are a huge part of local car communities. Great work bringing it to the Northeast!
Most of the cars and coffee events in my area have been infected by Edgars with their second hand mopars with the mufflers cut off so I just don't go
Lmfaooo totally forgot about the Edgar fade 😂😂
@@Rascofresco11 why are they throwing slushies at their cars now?

How to start a Cars & Coffee:
Step 1: Own a high-end supercar.
I would love to start a "die-cast & donut" event
How about "Matchbox & Hotbox?" 🤔
Or automotive models of any kind.

What about bikes and burritos?
I dream of driving a manual in 1997 and I loved it
I don’t know of any cars and coffees in Boston, I guess I don’t look in the right places to find them

How is it different than a good old fashioned car show?
There is no judging and they are typically over by noon so you have the rest of the day to drive your car.
It would be awesome to have another car trek but I wouldn’t wanna be friends with some one stole someone’s wife either
Up next: How I started "Matchbox & Hotbox."
I'm spoiled to have the San Clemente meet up so close. Any chance your content will get put up on Rumble too? Hate giving YT my $$$
