Bugatti Veyron, RUF Deliveries, & Discovering the World's Greatest Automotive Photos

- Last week we had the chance to deliver several modern collector cars - the RUF RTR, 1 of 3, special-built editions, and the Bugatti Veyron Grandsport Vitesse. These are cars and brands that we are passionate about and we're very happy to have connected our clients with these dream cars. We also recently closed a deal to buy the 2nd 25th Anniversary Countach ever built - and the factory press car - which will be arriving in Miami very soon! And in our quest to preserve automotive history and legacy, we've embarked on a mission to preserve the archive of the legendary Road & Track photographer, John Lamm.

I love VinWiki obviously, but honestly, Curated and especially Jon have the best stories around. Everything is masterfully shot and edited. Each episode of this channel is superior to most atuff put on RUclips. I would love to come to Miami and just hang out with you all for a few hours or more and just talk cars. I don't live that far away, about 5 or so hours away so maybe one day.

I’ve been spending a lot of time recently searching for old brochures, posters photos and magazines of special cars for my own collection, I can’t imagine how great it would be to chase them for a living like this.

I’ve had my eye on these for the longest never seen one RUF in America supremely underrated. Man U guys get all the cars I want. Also I could have sworn I’ve seen that vitesse a few years back at prestige sexy spec

Masterpiece Presentation
Chemical Methods' Veyron is one of my favourite Veyron specs to date. Fell absolutely in love with it from the time Alejandro did a video of it during the CUP Gang days.

As someone who lived through the 80s and 90s buying Road and Track, you just time warped me right back with that archival collection. I was right there with you geeking out over those slides. I'm so glad the mantra of Curated is preservation and research. Gents you just found yourselves an absolute treasure trove. Congrats! PS: I feel better knowing I'm not the only car geek. 🤩

There is something so cool about looking at slides. The colours on slide film and always so crisp and vibrant. Hopefully that persons work goes to a place that can properly store and house all those images.

Man ...that photo collection is wild.. how awesome is that.. also regarding the Veyron .. everyday that goes buy I think the Veyron gets more an more special, it's such a badass car especially the Vitesse .. I get why you sold it several times because its a pain in the ass to own , between the service bill the pain to change the oil an the tires.... those damn 50k tires ... But they are just so damn cool

I don't understand why this channel doesn't have more subscribers. There is nothing like this on RUclips. I was also there with my whole family in a rental Mustang 😂 this past July after a Jamaica vacation on purpose to see Curated since we live in Atlanta and John was on the phone in the show room. I wanted to chat but he looked like he was busy on an important phone call at the time and it took too long, which made it awkward. But he waved 😂. We left.

I shuddered when I saw the Miura SV #4870 ex Shah of Iran! Correct me if i'm wrong but i think #4870 was painted in Blue Notte and not in Blu Acapulco. Great story and finds as always!

John, hello friend. ive tried to do some research just wanting to know the other ruf cars in the collection. the only vinwiki video that is remotely close is refering to a collection in CA. is that the one you mention in this video. the vinwiki video i watched and listened and heard no name or about any Ruf cars. i know you of the samsung folkes has a big interest in cars and displays his own at his museum in korea. im just trying to determine if i should stop my search because the owner of this RTR is the same as the person with the collection you couldnt buy. if im wrong what vinwiki video were you refering too.im as big a Ruf fanatic as you'll ever meet. im just a fan looking for pics or info as to what other Ruf cars he has. no harm i assure you. you're such an icon i just have to thank you for sharing all this we people who would never be able to access it. thanks cheers

Yes Samsung CEO has a private track for himself that he built.....theres one satellite shot where he took out multiple rare cars and just ripped it.....

Is that archive for sale? It's worth preserving it. I can put it in my collection but I'd rather that stuff make it to a museum. I'd be willing to throw a few dollars at getting those preserved properly.
It is! We're working on doing exactly that
@@WeAreCurated You should/could do a follow-up to see if people are willing to donate to help fund getting this into a museum, rather than trying to shoulder the cost yourselves. That's the kind of project I'd be interested in. This is the kind of photographic archive that will be essential in 100 years, which doesn't negate its current value.
