The worst ferrari I have ever seen was, in fact, an MR2 faker. The owner spent 10 minutes arguing it was a 355 until I pointed out the tiny Toyota sticker in the rear window.

Honestly love all Ferraris but it will most likely be a newer model that’s a hydbrid or all electric with screens and no buttons. Electric cars lack a soul.
The SF90 with no luggage compartment reduces its usability, unless it has only solo occupancy always!

Taller people are more likely to be perceived as having RBF, because when you look up at someone from below you're more likely to look like you're frowning. You can help that a bit by tipping your chin down.
I’m 6’5” and I’ve been accused my entire life as being upset. I’m so care free and relaxed most of the time. I just haven’t ever figured out why until now. Funny part, I wasn’t upset until I was accused of it. Now I’m pissed.
As a 308gt4 owner I love this!!!! Yes many of them are horrible. There are a really couple good ones. I love unloved cars.
Unloved today maybe. I bought a “mid year” 1976 911s Targa, back when it was fully unloved…. Things change.
The way the story was headed actually didn't surprise me. I attended an event last year to go over official Ferrari judging criteria and was shocked at how lax it is, compared to what I am used to in the muscle car world, especially the Mopar muscle cars. I have a 2012 458 Italia which is heavily optioned and I am the second owner. It's an amazing car, but has some flaws. That said a friend of mine who is a certified judge told me if I were to show it at a concours event, I could win with my car, and I was surprised by that due to what issues I know it has. But I am looking at it through the lens of Mopar muscle judging and not Ferrari judging. The twist at the end of this story does make this a hilarious story!
That’s definitely my favorite Doug story so far. I would have loved to have been there to see all the reactions to the “best restored 408”. I would have probably laughed to hard I would have had an aneurism!

One of the bands I'm in played a car show at a retirement community near Medina, OH, last summer. During our break I wandered around. The car that really stood out was a red vintage Ferrari. Now, I don't know Ferraris, but from a distance it looked pretty sharp, and I know good examples are unbelievably expensive. I thought this was kind of a weird spot for such a car to be shown, but who knows, maybe the owner has had it a long, long time and it's got a ton of miles or it's in poor condition and not worth that much. Up close the car looked okay, but the interior was super ratty, and didn't look like I thought it might. It really looked more homemade than handmade. I found out later it's a kit car, not an actual Ferrari. Doug lives in this region of Ohio, and he probably knows the car I'm talking about. At least it looked good on the outside!

Also is it just me or is that F355 at 13:29 just gorgeous?! Am I the only one that loves these? F355 and 550M are some of my favorites. Had the poster of the yellow F355 on my wall in elementary/middle school that I bought from the Scholastic Book Fair at school. 355s are beautiful to me. Specifically the coupes.
No, the F355 in yellow is absolutely gorgeous. It's the 90s Ferrari I drooled over as a teenager.

It's SCHENLEY park, not Henley. And it's not Downtown, it's in the Oakland neighborhood, home of the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Melon University, and Carlow College.
if you were from pittsburgh you would know that whole area is considered downtown

@@oriqnL "Downtown" is the area from the Point to the Strip in the North, the Point to the Liberty Bridge in the South, and bordered by Crawford-Roberts in the center. Oakland is not "downtown" it's Oakland. if you were to get in a cab and say "I want to go downtown" they aren't taking you to Oakland. Learn local geography, "bud."

Mondial by far the worst i have driven
I’ve a 1988 Mondial 3.2 QV Coupe & love it! It’s my 7th Ferrari since 1984 & I bought it as many are chosen for Historic Racing, which suggests they handle well! The 3.2 engine is well proven and my car is going well at over 75k miles. It has a manual shift & ABS brakes, plus lots of space for touring luggage. I had the Mondial 3.4t before but the chassis flexes with its engine out subframe for servicing. The 3.2 with a stiffer chassis is much better. I really have no desire to change from my Mondial which has increased in value too. Ferrari don’t make poor cars!

But they aren't objectively terrible cars. The Mondial and the Dino are pretty bad in lots of measurable ways. The 400i I have a soft spot for even though it was designed with only a ruler
Understandable, but the California for me was always beautiful. It's actually one of my favourites despite being snubbed by enthusiasts. There's a wonderful simplicity about it.
The older I get the less supercars interest me. I'm just going to buy a c5 or c6 vette and drive 100,000 plus miles, on top of whatever miles it already has, with minimal troubles. I don't care about impressing anyone or getting chicks. I don't care about parties or social events. I don't care about resale dollar amounts while purposefully ignoring inflation. I just want a fun car that doesn't need 3 engine out services before it hits 40,000 miles. As I'm typing this, the prick talking makes fun of corvette owners. I'm not sure the ego of most of the presenters on this channel is for me. I know I know, it's not an airport, I don't need to announce my departure. I've worked too long at the bottom to suffer rich stuck up jackasses.

Buy a Ferrari. That’s what you really want! When you have one you’ll realise that the owners are just as nice as you are! We love Corvettes too, & any drivers car!
I’ve had 7 old manual shift Ferrari’s over 40 years and they’ve each been just fine. None has let me down and I just like how they drive. My 1988 Mondial 3.2QV coupe has 75k on her now and still pulled an easy 140mph + on a trackday last September. It was an inexpensive buy in 2019 and has been no trouble. When driving your Ferrari take a look at the Prancing- horse in the centre of the steering-wheel, it’s a good feeling!
I bought my first Porsche when I was young, thinking “Eh, I’ll get it out of my system instead of becoming one of those old guys that putters around in a sports car.” I’ve owned multiple sports cars and motorcycles, done track days and driving schools. Now I’m 60 and sort of sad to say… it worked. I still like something fast, but now I lean towards AMG or ///M sedans or SUVs (caused I’m scared to get a Stelvio Quadrifoglio).
Unless you're going to a track every weekend, where can you use all that power? I'd rather have something cheap like a Miata that I can use to its full potential on a back road and still be within legal limits. Corvettes are bargains and reliable as a truck.
God, I hate this man. I have no rational reason why but it's just an emotional response I get when he starts with his little persona.
