I've found myself doing the same thing as well, spending way too much time scrolling. So I've been de-hoarding/decluttering everything, not only has it been cathartic but I'm a bit more organized for it. Chores, Hobbies and Crafts is my new leaf (and in that order) and I'm loving it. Reading is the next thing to add to my hobby list. Great video as always and thanks for the reminder there's more to life than scrolling.
Not even gonna watch the video and I'm gonna declutter and listen to some music right now, thank you! 😂
You can even combine some of these hobbies. Like listening to audio books while crafting or going for a walk and taking your book with you. Reading in a park, in the forest or just simply in your garden feels like a really amazing but still so easy thing to do :)
Agreed! Audiobooks while crafting or gardening is my favorite!
I don t have the mind to do 2 things at once
Can we have a separate video on your board games, puzzles and lego?
The bookseller at the end of the world is really a must read for booklovers like us. ✨💕
Thank you for your great video ! I realised a few years ago that mindlessly scrolling made me feel depressed and that's when I also noticed that I had almost no other hobbies than screen time. We tend to easily forget how important it is to be bored from time to time, we are not robots and our brain needs some rest in order to be able to think and be creative.
I tend to "accidentally" scroll mindlessly at night and it would suddenly be 3am and I would get so annoyed at myself, like I could've used the time to get proper sleep or anything other than scrolling! I'm so happy I fell in love with reading at night again ☺️ (Your english is perfect ❤️)
I have got back into making earings which is always quick and meditative.
But also I now paint my nails every week which just adds another thereputic step in my self care Sundays
That sounds lovely ☺️ I've always wanted to try making earrings, but I'm terrible at such delicate crafts!
Of course I adore your usual DIY videos but I’ve also been loving the other styles you’ve been sharing lately! Thank you for the inspiration, I definitely needed this. Also all of your craft ideas were so fun, I’d love to see more tutorials in the future!!
I just finished reading The Bookseller at the End of the World, I saw it in one of your previous videos and got our local library to purchase it! Thanks for the recommendation! 😊
This is something I'm always telling people. I have a bag of wooden beads from holiday crafts, I'm definitely trying your ideas.
My screen time is already 7-8 hours due to work. Sometimes another 7 hours on the smartphone. I was shocked too. I loved doing puzzles as a child and picked up that hobby again last fall. I really want to try Lego with their “flowers”. That's definitely fun. My most enduring hobby is reading.
The lego flowers are definitely fun!! I've been holding back on buying the succulents one myself hee
such a wonderful video, looking forward to trying wooden beads!:)
I have an old globe in my home and I wanted to give it away.. now I can't wait to transform it! Traveling is my passion and the globe will be a wonderful decoration in my room. Thanks for an idea!
Same this is the one idea that i really want to try
It’s just one second in and I already love it!
I‘m german and I just fell in love with your German accent 😭❤️
Not sure if this counts as a hobby, but as I don't have a car at the moment and I work mostly from home, I realized I was/am becoming pretty sedentary. I've always been pretty fat, but I decided to try to do something about it as the double chin is kinda becoming a triple 😂. A RUclipsr I like did a video of him doing a lot of the exercises from the Nintendo Switch Fit Adventure game, which uses a flexible "ring" and a leg strap for the controllers to track your movements. He seemed to be getting a good workout from it and I liked the "gamefication" of exercising. The game also seems to have a lot of positive reviews. I've not exercised in ages, so something lighthearted and fun sounds more up my alley. My only concern is I live upstairs and don't want to bother my neighbors, but I have a thick rug in the living room and will maybe skip anything that requires running (maybe I can get away with a soft jog). I bought my set used from eBay, which saved me about $20.
I was shopping for sports bras and a scale to weigh myself when I got the notification for this video, lol. I'm not necessarily going for a dramatic shift in health, but just something better than being sedentary at my work computer or on the phone all day. I'm excited for my stuff to arrive 😊
Yes this counts. Good for you, sounds really fun actually. Maybe I should do the same thing so exercising is fun instead of a boring chore for my ADHD brain.
Really needed this reminder, thank you! Last year, I picked up making ceramics at home which was really satisfying, but with moving a lot and adjusting to new surroundings, I completely stopped doing it. This video was def a good reminder to pick it up again
This video has been incredibly inspiring for me… as anyone other in so many time. Thanks for that ❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed Attachments as well!
Holaaa❤
Gracias por mostrarnos más de tus pasatiempos, me encantan tus proyectos!! 😊
you are an absolute artist. love ur videos ❤
We want more videos like this 🙏🏻♥️
Thanks 🫶🏻
My daily avg screen time has skyrocketed this summer after exams ended. I feel so unproductive and it has ruined my sleep as well. Time to try out some activities like these
Thank you for this lovely video ! It gives me so many idea of what i can do to spend more time away from screen ! I spend most of my free time playing video games and my eyesight is getting very bad because of it and i'm not talking about my migraines 😅 so thank you again it's so relaxing to listen to you 🤎
Love this video and your language choice 😅🇩🇪✨️
Same i have just finished an inperson beginners german class. But now I'm struggling to keep it up on my own
I love this video, so inspiring. I instantly want to start crafting again. also lovely to hear you talk more :)
Como é bom termos hobbies não é mesmo? Mais um vídeo que eu adorei ❤
I’m so excited to try out some of these ❤️ Lately I come home from work and just watch tv and go to bed, so I really needed a bit of inspiration to change things up and rediscover passions!!
I know what you mean, that was my routine some years ago too! Start with something small and you'll definitely find surprising joys from it 😉
Hi Hills! Loved the whole vid, but especially your book recs. I have the ‘Bookseller…’ on my TBR list and wasn’t totally sure about it. Now I am. 😀 Getting it asap [the hardcopy addict I am]. Cheers!
Such an wonderful reminder! ..it’s hard for me to start my (old/new) hobbies (again) cause of my perfectionism..❤thanks a lot, loved it!
Try starting with the small things, like writing 3 things that made you smile today ☺️
grazie mille per i consigli su libri e giochi da tavolo
Oh, what a fun video!
Great video!
Thanks for the ideas, I'm just struggling to sit on my phone less.
I'd love to take up on scrapbooking but I'm not a creative person, so I feel like I enjoy it better when watching others do it.
But what I absolutely love is sitting down to organize and write. Right now, I'm working on making my own recipe book. Since I'm not too good, I do it with canva. But I'm sure others could do it by hand, like a journal ^^ I'm sure if you did it, it would turn out so so beautiful! 💙✨
That sounds inspiring! I would love to take a peek at your recipes 👩🏻🍳
Thank you for this and also for sharing your favorite games including the average time and difficulty! Made some screenshots. Da werde ich für meinen Mann und mich auch ein paar Spiele organisieren:)
It's especially cool that a lot of great board games originate from Germany 🤗
I loved Attachments by Rainbow Rowell!
Bonjour, vous êtes bien organisée. Vous êtes douée en bricolage, en art , en décoration....Félicitations 👏👍🏠❤️Bon week-end 🐶🩵😘
Nice different video!😊 iI recommend to you The priory of the orange tree by Samantha Shannon. Really really good🥰
*Sample added to my kindle 🤗

Share detail video about each hobby
Please see description box ❤️
love the mahjong 🤭, can you play it? I've tried it a few times, but it's still so complicated to understand for me
It's a favourite of mine 🤗 It's actually something that you learn better when you play it
Jesus bless you 😍❤️🥰 I love your videos 😘
🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Another amazing video. 😊
Just wanted to share though that J.K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter is very transphobic and has politically positioned herself on the right. So consuming her content indirectly and directly supports her. 💔
Absolutely love your other recommendations tho!!!
