I don’t think Tarantino is an abusive director. Uma Thurman said she’d still work with him and they’re still friends, and she’s the only one who’s ever talked about anything negative regarding him, if I’m not mistaken

I watched The Lighthouse at Cannes too, it was amazing! I also recommend Deerskin, Papicha, Portrait of Lady on Fire, and DEFINITELY Parasite
Hailey Noh Parasite was fuckin EX-CELL-ENT, 20/10. Best movie of the year.

In his recent TIFF 2019 video, Karsten said he left the day before "Parasite" premiered at Cannes.
"Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" also premiered at Cannes on the same day as "Parasite".
Kathryn Newton Actually, the cost has nothing to do with entering a Cannes official selection screening. You can get in if you have a badge.
If he was there the day Hollywood premiered, badge and an invitation (aka ticket) would have been required. Any movie showing at the Grand Lumiere theater requires those two.

7:20 The movie played on the beach was Les Nuls' La Cité de la Peur (The city of terror) and it's considered to be one of the best french comedies of all time ! I recommend you that film so much, it's so fun !

The director of NINA WU wrote on his Facebook that QT invited him to breakfast at the hotel and they talked about the film for almost two hours.

You should check out the cinematography film festival, Camerimage, in Poland. It's a great atmosphere and very low profile, which makes the whole event feel very humble and easy going. Talked to many fantastic cinematographers there last November! I highly recommend it!
i was shocked to find out people didnt like beanpole when i first saw it in 2020 i was so blown away by it and never heard anyone elses others opinions until recently when i went on letterboxd and find out a lot of people were underwhelmed by it.
I was at the Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale) this year. I got to see 20+ movies. That was amazing.

Just to clarify: the black badge is just very regular festival attendee. Colors yellow, blue, pink, pink with yellow dot and finally white are for press and range from standard to "vip" in this order.

Tarantino is not an abusive director or a sexual harasser. In Uma Thurman's statements about everything she stressed that QT was not the problem and comparing him to Harvey Weinstein undercuts just how severe Weinstein was.
