i like this show because at start you're thinking "it's not my type, i dont have THE vibe", and then people start talking and now they're your crush. it's about the themes, it's about their glow, but i really love it. Yes exactly!! There were a lot of people who surprise me because their interests differ so much from what I would expect with the way they look and act, and I know many others also have this experience every now and then!
Like I didn’t expect that one guy to be so into the rave scene because he seemed to me like someone who’s into more mainstream stuff, and I also thought he was a photographer or a writer or something. Then the very awkward guy was really an adventurous guy who’s so into the outdoors which really surprised me a lot. And I also thought that girl with the sweater was sort of preppy, but she’s a horror writer and makes folk music which I thought was so cool and I suddenly vibed with her a lot.
Things like these are so interesting to me, it’s always so nice to learn about just how different people are from how you perceive them. It’s no wonder why the original matches based on looks alone didn’t always work out so well, and then like you said, a bunch of people only started realizing that they may like someone upon hearing them talk about the things they actually like. Damn you didn’t have to do bro like that 😭. I respect it tho. I also felt the awkwardness and was about to be quick to judge him but then it’s like I probably wouldn’t even do any better and seems like he was nervous or has social anxiety or something. He tried his best and I think he probably regrets a lot of the things he said or maybe wishes he could’ve said. He just needs to calm down and take his time.
