    The Judge sees all his behavior (rolling eyes, laughing at victims, etc) and her sentencing will and should rightfully reflect that by giving the max without the chance of parole.

      @@brianhanlon9602 I agree with you and I think this case deserves attention for bringing the capital punishment back. If you start the process, I will sign the petition, together we all need to make it happen. Just see how much attention this trial gets, probably 99% agreed the death sentence is proper, the other 1% will never change their mind, they will not kill, they will not get involved in changes either. They were born and raised to believe that way. If you lead many of us will follow. Evils do not deserve to breathe the same quality of air that we do. Thanks for saying this, it is about time 50 states should have capital punishment then the evils will be gone for good.

      I wonder if that's a possibility. No COMFORTS. No money for junk food. No nice shampoo or soap. Only what the jail gives as a bare minimum. I hope his shoes get stolen, his food from the kitchen has roaches in it and prisoners relieve themselves on his bed.

      I think there is something in place, however, since he didn't pay over $40,000 in child support, I doubt they see a dime. I'm willing to be his mother and father both have criminal records, so she will find a way to send money to other inmates so he can get it. What a cowardly POS!

      I've seen a lot of video on DB trial . His appeal hearing happened a few days after conviction.
      I saw and heard him speak that he was charged tried convicted and sentenced for something he doesn't understand and never CONSENTED to.
      He informed Judge Dorow during this hearing it was illegal for the court to do any of this to him.
      He can't have any of those things happen when he never CONSENTED, he was confused on how everything happened.

    The fact that he doesn't feel any remorse or sorrow is a tell all of what kind of vial human being he is. All those innocent people he injured and killed, not to mention families he forever destroyed. He should never ever be allowed to go home and walk through his door again because his victims that he murdered will never be able to walk through their doors into their homes and to see their love ones ever again.

    I feel the repeat line, “Because of ‘your’ actions” is a powerful line with nothing but truth. I appreciate the usage and emphasis place on ‘your’. Thank you for your contribution to the proceedings. I pray Darrell Brooks receives life without parole. May be at that point he will actually read the Bible instead of using the good book as a prop.

    I know the judge is being attentive to those giving their statements but I truly hope she catches some of DB’s eye rolling/head shaking/laughing and mentions it when she hands down his sentence. He showed no real remorse during the trial, and now his deplorable behavior during victim impact statements of all things, just cements that even further.

    That guys a better person than me! This whole incident was nothing to do with me, I don’t know anyone involved & I don’t even live in the continent that this occurred in but I certainly don’t/wouldn’t forgive him!!
    To sit there & laugh throughout takes this waste of spaces disrespect to a whole new level.
    I honestly hope he goes into the prison system with the exact same attitude because if he does, I’m 100% sure that there will be no guards to save him in prison & hopefully proper justice will then be served!

    This trial is going to be a future case study on 1. court behaviors of an extreme narcissist and sovereign, and 2. how NOT to represent yourself in court. I followed this trial from the beginning and it blows my mind that he never once took responsibility for what he did and he showed absolutely no remorse. Rolling his eyes at a victim's statement is just par for the course. What's even more shocking is he actually believed the jury should nulllify the law and let him go free.

      The only responsibility I recall hearing him take was when he said it wasn't intentional and that is a stretch on taking responsibility. But he seemed to feel that should make it all okay and the jury should rule in his favor because he's been through so much.

    He simply cannot stand that people are holding him accountable and that his fake efforts to gain sympathy (for himself) and portrayal of him being a devout Christian deserving to be “forgiven, but not accountable” for his crimes were seen for what they were. His severe lack of social unawareness is disturbing. The fact he thought what he did warranted nullification is even more disturbing. He is a danger and a menace who has habitually caused harm without care, except for his hardships. He is vile. He doesn’t deserve to be free to continue terrorizing others. He fails to see that everything he’s doing will be noted and put in front of him for his sentencing.

She conflates mental illness and his bad character/decisions (that he’s made) too much and will say the system failed him…but they were with him all his life. Who had the most influence? As a former teacher, I’d explain this to people who think it’s our responsibility to fix their child’s behavior. But we only had them 8 out of 24 hours in a day. They spent most of their time at home. Who had the bigger influence?

I keep comparing everyone to my mom, whose, if this were me, her zoom statement would've been lock her up, Idk what happened to her but she deserves to be put away. I need to stop assuming everyone was raised to take personal accountability.

      @@opheliasfall I just wonder how she feels hearing the judge talk about the fact that pretty much every time he was in custody, he received mental health treatment and that across FOUR doctors, none of them diagnosed him with bipolar disorder as she claimed he had but personality disorders…🤔 At the end of the day, he spent 24 hours in jail cells getting these services and outside of them, with her and what we have to show from it is her bailing him out and him using her car to run over his ex-gf and 76 others, killing 6, 1 of which was a child.
