- The UA2020 group pulled out of Kalispell, Montana and the calamities started right away with a vehicle fire before reaching the incredible Miracle of America Museum in Polson, Montana. After getting a taste of the museum’s vast collection of automobile, weaponry, air and water craft we shifted into 4x4 and climbed through the woods to a mountain top to make camp at 8,500 feet elevation next to Montana’s beautiful Caruthers Lake. #MotorTrend #Offroad #UA2020

Even though the vehicles are the stars of the show. Down deep it is all about community and helping each other. That is what makes hot rodding and off-roading so great. The journey of life allows us to meet fantastic and wonderful people. And that is what makes the journey so much fun.
I'm really enjoying the commentary on this years videos. Much more entertaining to watch along with the wheeling.
So fun to see the little town I went to grade school and junior high in on UA, Deer Lodge. I have very fond memories of growing up there. I’m pretty sure I’ve been on part of that trail to Caruther’s Lake. We were with another family all of us piled into a Chevy Luv pulling a trailer. Ah, the 80s!

Looks like a great time! Although, it seems that the average, dirt bag rock crawler dude isn’t represented as well as we used to be.
I think you have to have minimum 35s to even go - which doesn't even make sense for most vehicles as you'd have to upgrade axles, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, etc just to get it reliable. My little yj can do every bit of what they do on these trips - hope one day I get to do a big trip like this with friends

I like how they showed the Suzuki that broke down 20 times just getting to the starting line then went on to talk about the reader that came out last year and went well, we invited him back. I have a feeling the Suzuki won't be back.

Surely the 'ultimate"adventure would involve man or woman against nature and the elements. Not man or woman in a comfortable truck driving across the countryside. 👍
They didn't show the tough parts of that trail. I expect it was too dark and they were too tired to bother with filming the last mile or two.
