- Ultimate Adventure 2020 starts heating up as the group ‘wheels back down from Caruthers Lake goes overland through an abandoned ghost town, drives through a mile-long abandoned train tunnel full of water, and changes routes on the fly because of an unexpected wildfire. Then precariously ‘wheeled up the side of a mountain to do some high-elevation fishing and exploring before hitting the trail for more winching, rockcrawling, and shenanigans. #MotorTrend #Offroad #UA2020

Me too. I’m still upset about Petersen’s being discontinued but at least UA has carried on.

@@elijahT0494 Yeah man I started reading 4 Wheel and Off Road in 1995. Subscribed since 1997. Then at the beginning of this year, they started sending me Four Wheeler instead. I was bummed and devastated.

I just want to see how well that F150 does.... My 2001 4.6 F150 was surprisingly good off road, even stock.

I have a problem with the fittings on my PSC hydro assist leaking too... especially right at the cooler. Apparently it’s a common issue.
Fred is an offroad genius, would have never thought to use a winch for bump starting.
It should be noted his starter didn't actually fail but that didn't make the edit. Before creatively winch starting it, you should check your starter wiring first to make sure it's not loose! :) Fun Fact: R2.8 needs to see 200 rpm minimum on crank position sensor before it'll allow injectors to fuel.
Each year looks less challenging, easier trails
Last year was Alaska, we wheeled Alaska terrain. This year was Covid-wheeling. Areas closed, shops closed, overnight parts from a place that is closed to someplace that is closed by ... you get it I hope? We went and did what we could in a time most were locked down. We also wished for better times and harder trails yet it was also one of the best, fun, and challenging trips. #UA2020
