Also, I never really considered a trailing arm set up for rocks, but there was a few times it looked like they were acting at rock sliders and helping that tire up onto obstacles Looked like it did a good job protecting the driveshaft too!

You read my mind I was thinking next one would be a regular cab long box instead of my Jeep. And I was leaning towards super duty, my 2500 is Chevy but I prefer the solid front axles. 15:48
Things I learned wheeling a full-size rig for years: No matter what line you pick the truck is just gonna go where gravity takes it. People generally look at you like you’re insane when you put a full-size truck on Jeep size trails and obstacles. Momentum is you’re friend. Drivetrain beef is a major priority. It’s a dang good time!

I love that green 7879 F150. I had a 79 F150 with the Dana 44 front 9inch rear. Had a cast iron 4spd trans. Been a while but i belive it was a sm465? With a 205 case. Best is the 300ci engine!! Torquey little bitch.

You commented at the beginning that you couldn’t see over the hood. Are you getting used to it now or are you going to make some changes to try and help with the visibility? I have the same issue with the big trucks. Some vehicles would really benefit from dove nosing the front end but it ruins the stock look

The toolbox opens almost fully. It was a pain at first, but I got easier
