- Follow along as I drag, dent, drive, and winch my fresh new build Louis ViTen through one of the hardest four wheelin trips I have ever been on. Trail Repair, broken axles, wilderness stick welding. This trip has it all. Ultimate Adventure ran trails and back roads all over Appalachia this year. Pennsylvania rock crawling. West Virginia with Big Rocks and Muddy Creeks, And a big finish in Kentucky with some great rock crawling at Hollarwood park.

Dave is the most underrated guy on these shows. He can do it all. Don’t bitch and complain just does it. He’s the best. Should have his own shows and empire. Dirt every day sucked til Dave was involved in every episode. Will be a fan for life.

This truck is one of my favoruties because it doesnt look at all like it can drive the trails that it can. Most people couldn't differentiate it from a normal truck! Such a cool sleeper!
Total sleeper. If I get the body straightened up again
Big red got some flex it's a off-road sleeper super capable 4X still retains a daily driver quality to it I like that
It does flex pretty well. Need to make it a little more stable on the road
that ole super duty killed some wet gnarly east coast trails, goddang!

Dave your big old truck is damn impressive, but that van has to be the most impressive vehicle out there! Its yeally cool to see all of those full size vehicles doing what y'all do.
That Quigley van has been absolutely put through the wringer. I always say,,, if Tiger made it, or if tigers axles are strong enough, mine should be too

You caving in the bedside gave me instant flashbacks to my days of wheeling fool-size rigs out here. There’s really nothing to do but shrug it off and carry on😂 Louis did phenomenal, and you did an excellent job piloting that big boat through the trails🍺

I have broken 3 axle shafts on my diesel f250 crawling but I never had spares available! Dave you da man! Now I have a 40 spline shaft....we'll see how it goes. 😂

There were a couple of times I didn’t think that big red truck was gonna fit! Every time a tire got swallowed in a gap I thought damn, he’s on 40’s and it ate the whole tire! I don’t blame that short axle for throwing in the towel!
Yep! That’s exactly why I didn’t want the 42’s…. These parts are already a taxed
Finally get two see one of my fav 2 dirt heads together after long time .. should have shown fred a lil bit more in the vlog maybe next time .. doing good job dave…!

That was really awesome. I kind of enjoy how stone face you are about most everything. Very chill albeit a bit hard to read, but that is a personality thing, and I dig it man. Great production from the crew, and really cool how bringing them along even added to the challenge. I live very close to all this and it was nice allowing me to experience if vicariously as aint no way my health would allow anything like that these days. Thanks a ton.

Nice and smooth on that creek bottom slab rock; you got a deft touch w/ that right foot of yours. Sister went to Morgantown, remember how real that place can get, especially slicked-up in the rain!

Very neat trip and build, keep up the good work! I hope to get to build something one day and have as much fun as you all get to. Full size trucks are neat to see and I have always loved the Offroad Design square body and your Mom's Speghetti build. Loved when dirt everyday extra had your progress of it in the smaller garage working on the rear end and shortening it. Very cool to see that project over the years and the new ones to come.

US Steel provided the steel fire that bridge you went under. My father retired after 40+years working there. Sounds like a cool road I'll have to make a road trip

The vehicles and the event are obviously a dream come true. But the real dream come true for me would be having the field of experts, replacement parts, and mechanical geniuses around to support me with any spotting, recoveries, and repairs. I can only imagine the confidence it provides knowing that the team can figure out a solution for just about anything. Big respect to the community for functioning like a community. Amazing human beings.

It's a rescue truck, for sure. I've been parked since 2003, and squirrels lived, laughed, and loved it into a nice house.
A little body damage is small price to pay for the awesomeness that is this truck. Great video. Thanks for taking us along!

Awesome! My son and I just came back from rock run in the tj’s. Not a lot there for Jeeps but what’s there is pretty fun.
It’s a great resource for a state that has a shortage of wheeling spots

The trip and the scenery looks amazing. However, in my current wheeling rig, I would be sick to my stomache with body damage. Kudos to you, and all who participate in such and event. Your rig preformed amazingly well for such a wide and long rig. Your skills in the shop are equal to your skills on the trails.

Watching the part when Fred was spotting for you, really brought me back to the good ol’ days... I’m not religious, but i will continue to pray for that Maybe one day, you and Fred will have one more crazy adventure, just running the wheels off a rig and having a blast! ❤

@@thedirtheadshed : Do you know what i likes the most? I absolutley loved the adventures with the cheapest, most crappiest jeeps or whatever you two found. And just getting out there and enjoying life! That is priceless! But when motor trend made it into their own channel, i wasn’t able to watch it... I live in Sweden and have absolutley no access to motor trend . 😔 I don’t think it would be too much to ask us subscribers to help you and Fred in the quest to bring the band together atleast for one time every year. Keep on fighting, Dave! Nice people do win in the end! ❤️

I’m sure the compressor is not up to the task over and over. It’ll probably get put in my daily driver for emergency use
